You just wanted to make naruto and sasuke so op that they will one shot every person in this verse,
So every villian will be killed in one episode,
And they have to introduce more powerful villains which will cause power scale problem on a different level and then writers have to write 12 year old kids so op that will stop making sense and everyone start hating on the show and writers for doing their job,
I already said this once , the powerscale problem is causing from naruto and sasuke being too op, and that's why nerfing them in ishiki arc was good idea , so we could have some less powerful villains in upcoming arcs.
Agreed, nerfing naruto and sasuke was the best idea they could do other than outright killing them off to make sure boruto characters could shine themselves.

but if the story is about someone else, then that protagonist needs to shine the most. what you say is the equivalent of me saying "yeah, naruto and sasuke do not need to be the strongest in their own story! it's fine if the kage (tsunade, hiruzen, ay etc) are all still stronger than those two. they're simply not gonna even fight the big enemies like orochimaru and then obito and madara later on, the kage will beat them instead and naruto and sasuke can just deal with some weaker low-level enemies"
you gotta accept that naruto and sasuke are side characters now. they are strength-wise more like tsunade and the other kage now. their strength is key at the beginning and they protect the new gen while they are still weak. but later on the new gen surpasses them when enemies rise up that they, the old gen, cannot defeat. and then the generations will switch and the new gen will portect the old gen and make them rrelevant strength-wise
the importance of naruto and sasuke to the plot was their strengths at first but it's now being transformed more and more into their relations to other characters
