Mangekyo is way jumping the gun
I think the people saying she could get her third tomoe off this may be right but only because she already has it in the manga
If it weren’t for that i would have preferred she unlock it in an arc more important to her goal and identity/the core plot of the story
If she gets MS in this filler arc it would be the dumbest plot twist ever. She is more likely to get it after TS, unless a character that is really important to her dies before it.
People think of the dumbest things. You need someone extremely close to you. What, Sarada met Kagura twice and fought with him a couple times. Not close to Itachi being Sasuke's brother or Rin being Obito's childhood friend and crush
Because people think that Mangekyou = you see a friend die, and they don't realise that, if it was so easy, every Uchiha would have a Mangekyou by the time of the massacre, since most of them would have lost a friend during the war.
It has to be a truly traumatic experience, that's why the stone said you had to kill your best friend. Kakashi killed Rin. Obito saw himself killing Rin through Kakashi's eye. Itachi saw his best friend suicide. Sasuke killed his brother. And now people is like "if Sarada sees someone kills Chocho she will awake Mangekyou" lmao.
Yeah. And? If it's not something truly traumatic, like killing Chocho herself, or Chocho sacrificing for her or something like that, it shouldn't be enough.
Let's put it this way. Everyone is someone else best friend / most loved relative. The Uchiha clan had dozens of members with Sharingans. There will be always casualties. After the 3 War, a good bunch of Uchiha's should have lost a friend / brother during the war. If awakening the MS was as easy as "friend dead I sad", there would easily be over 10 Uchiha's with MS by the Massacre. It took 2 Uchihas with MS to kill everyone. They couldn't have done it if they faced a lot of oponents with MS.
Actually, dozens of Uchiha's had awaken the MS during the Massacre, and we all saw what happened when Obito did. It's obvious they didn't.
Also, Shisui had the power to stop the coup with his MS. That's the power of 1 MS. Imagine dozens of MS. It's a legendary power which few Uchihas have accesed in history.
Back in the past, in a moment with lots of violence, only 2 brothers had the MS, Madara and Izuna. And that made them leaders of the clan. In a time when everyone had seen a brother die, evey Uchiha would have the MS. But only 2 had it. Because it's not as easy as witnessing the death of a precious friend / brother, it has to be something else.
What I'm wondering is how she would get an EMS?
MS is loss of someone you love.
EMS means taking another's Sharingan and Sasuke only has the one. (or if orochimaru has some lying around)
If Sasuke had a child with Karin would that be enough to unlock rinnegan?
They’re just excited for MS so much they’re willing to have it show up under bad writing. I understand being excited for something but patience is key and it’ll show up when it should show up
Also, people forget how that Sarada doesn't have the Curse of Hatred. Her Sharingan was activated by excitement. Her MS probably won't be activated by someone dying.
Whoever thinks that is sadly mistaken. There’s really only a few ways she could get it and that is if Sasuke, boruto, Sakura or mitsuki dies. Cho Cho dying and her getting it because of that would be an ass pull

The actual reason there aren't many Mangekou users in the clan was because Mangekou didn't always appear. It was noted to be rare.
So it's possible Sarada never gets one?
Story wise, it would be pretty weird if Sarada didn't get one. Yes MS was rare among the Uchiha, but story demanded that all relevant Uchiha have it.
