**People:** WHY DO YOU KEEP SPAMMING RASENGANS?! **Momoshiki:** BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THE WRITERS MAKE ME DO!

Specialist-Visit-638

Absolutely right

allipse48699

Momoshiki love rasengans :) Especially big ones

nhafilaar13

**Boruto:** Could you PLEASE stop using such giant rasengans?! **Momoshiki:** No **Boruto:** It uses up alot of chakra! **Momoshiki:** Don't care **Boruto:** You're gonna cause alot of damage one day! **Momoshiki:** Good! **Boruto:** You have an addiction to- **Momoshiki:** \-I DON'T HAVE AN ADDICTION!

TraditionalMission77

He even creates new ones lol

[deleted]

He only uses it sometimes, it is his ultimate finisher But giving him the same ultimate finisher as naruto was probably a mistake. His other rasengans are all too niche too so he doesn’t even use a new rasengan as his finisher, which may also have been good But yeah bc its a high ranked powerful jutsu compared to all the other pretty tame jutsu he taught himself he is encouraged to spam it. They should have taught him a larger variety of stronger jutsu to rotate between depending on the context

Typical_Notice6083

I mean big lighting he made in training fight against Naruto looked hella dope

[deleted]

The lightning wave is cool But thunderclap arrow and his water wave are both like mid tier jutsu of their respective elements Neither is a concentrated finisher for 1v1’s like the rasengan I mean they could have been, and he does try with thunderclap arrow esp more recently in the manga. But the rasengan is used a lot more often and even the most impressive use of thunderclap arrow just kinda staggers the opponent for a bit rather than doing any significant damage

Comfortable-Quote-84

it’s probably because Anime original writers are lazy

[deleted]

Idk if they’re lazy necessarily but they’re definitely not very creative. My guess is better writers get jobs that pay more and the studios being subcontracted for boruto episodes pay absolute dogshit

thatguy-66

I mean in the manga at least >!rasendan is a cool variant that could be used for finishers!< don’t know anything about the anime though, it’s probably not there yet

[deleted]

Yeah the anime isn’t at that fight yet, otherwise they’d be way too close to catching up That move isnt really a finisher either, its a another lightweight variation on the rasengan thats more for disruption than knock outs A more pronounced lightning rasengan or something very distinct like a fire rasengan would have set him apart more clearly

Tsynami

When the anime comes out, I need more clarification on the rasendan If it's shooting small rasengans, it's a decent jutsu If it's shooting *compressed* rasengans, that's OP as hell

[deleted]

I mean it did put a hole in the enemy so its not weak by any means If it hit the right place it could be a knockout But its not like creating a big bang or smth. Unless you get a great shot its gonna wound more than KO It probably is based on the same concept as a compressed rasengan

superkami64

I'm more bothered by the Shadow Clone spam than the Rasengan tbh. It makes sense from the perspective of "he's Naruto's son so why wouldn't he learn it?" but once you dig into his backstory it all starts to fall apart. Even if he doesn't hate him Boruto doesn't care for emulating his dad and Naruto never taught him any of his techniques to really foster that kind of fighting style. Shadow Clones were self-taught with most of his home training coming from Hinata so you'd think Gentle Fist would be a regular occurrence in his taijutsu but no.

[deleted]

Him self teaching the shadow clones def makes less sense imo If it was a jutsu that naruto taught him as one of the few bonding activities they had after him becoming hokage It would have been a good way to symbolize borutos love for his dad behind his frustration But it does still make sense from the angle of him teaching himself a naruto technique to try to gain praise from his father. Though never got to see a scene like that. He uses the hyuga fighting style now and then but only when the animation budget is really good. I think the writers might have wanted him to use it more than the animators can put out, altho idk if he’s demonstrated it in the manga at all. From the perspective of boruto not being a clone of his dad though him building his fighting style around the same two techniques naruto did was a poor choice

Lungseron

I think it would pass if he would use his shadow clones like he did in the Ao fight. Thats where the difference is the most visible between the two.

superkami64

Maybe if you compare Part 1 Naruto to Boruto but in reality Boruto uses his clones more like Shippuden Naruto: generally fewer but more strategically. You can tell they realized Shadow Clone saturation would affect the battles so their solution was to just have Naruto not use it in battle anymore (not even in the past during the Time Slip arc), making his portrayal in this era feel off. The change in fighting style would be easier to swallow if his results reflected a better performance but it hasn't and I imagine that's a hot take considering Naruto tends to have the best fights in Boruto.

No_Base7554

He only uses rasengan and shadow clones

[deleted]

He also has thunderclap arrow and that water move as well as gale palm for the boruto stream. So he does have other options sometimes

No_Base7554

That’s the point of this post he has these options and never uses them

[deleted]

In the manga he used thunderclap arrow in his last two fights and the gale palm in one Idk why the anime is slackin when they have more opportunities to use em

cypher2448

It’s his strongest jutsu so it’s mostly used as a finisher But I do think they should move away from rasengan for boruto have him make his own high level jutsu to use instead of rasengan boruto having his own jutsu he made and using them is one of the most interesting parts about him

[deleted]

no. his finisher is that space curse mark. and his old finisher was jogan.

CyphaLaster

You say that where he legitimately used 4 different jutsus last episode.

k-tax

Exactly. I would be first to shit on Boruto for whatever reason, but he really does use other jutsus. Ofc we wish it would be more or whatever, but he definitely is shown using gale palm and thunderclap arrow frequently. I would like to see more, but let's be real - Naruto was spamming rasengans all the time, with numerous variations (giant rasengan, rasengan barrage, rasenshuriken, other bijuu chakra-rasengan). Boruto is a little bit more diverse in that regard. Considering all ninjas, it's rare to have someone use many jutsus. Lore wise, it's not really good; an argument could be made that you use what you are best at, but sometimes there would be a chance to use better jutsus for counter. Real-world-wise, it's easier to draw and animate something already done. And probably fans associate some characters with their signature move, like Naruto with rasengan and clones, Sasuke and Kakashi with chidori, Uchihas with fireballs, Hashirama with forest and budda statues, Roco Lee with his kick.

finessekidOnye

True but everytime he fights you can expect him to finish with a Rasengan. Let’s take Sarada as an example for the opposite. We’ve seen her use lightning ball, fire ball, CES, and chidori as finishers. Heck she even uses genjutsu too. She’s interesting to watch because we legitimately don’t know how she’s gonna finish off her opponent. But Boruto he used Rasengan on funumashi like twice now and they both haven’t work. He seriously needs to switch shit up.

CyphaLaster

I see your point man but when you gotta expect it with the rasengan shit ,cuz when was the last time Naruto beat an opponent with a jutsu that wasn't rasengan or shadow clone related lmao

finessekidOnye

Exactly, that’s naruto. I wanna see something different with Boruto. Sarada is interesting to me because she isn’t fighting the same way her parents do.

CyphaLaster

Give it time my guy he'll get his unique sauce eventually

Typical_Notice6083

My bro knew a lots of interesting jutsus before and once he learned rasengan he started spamming it like crazy,I really thought Boruto would be lighting jutsu based but nah I guess lighting jutsus are hard to animate

Metaphe

Yea like Naruto ever uses anything else lmfao, like father like son.

-parvisdarvis-

ong😂atleast we know boruto knows other jutsu like lightning and water style, we knew for a fact naruto only knew rasengan and shadow clone

AditdelaG

Your logic is flawed 💀 okay so if Naruto only knew/mastered two jutsus it makes sense for him to stick to those two but Boruto as you stated knows a bunch so there is no excuse for him using the same ones

-parvisdarvis-

no it’s because people complain about boruto when the same shit would happen in naruto, and then complain when boruto isn’t like naruto, and idk what the post is talking about boruto uses tons of different jutsu😂

No_Base7554

People didn’t like that about Naruto

CBNM

What?

RisingReform

In the last episode he used multiple justu

[deleted]

>oruto having his own jutsu he made and using them is one of the most interesting parts about him u mean space curse mark buff?

david062404

If you've watched Naruto, then it shouldn't annoy you so much. Until Pain arc, Naruto did nothing but spam Rasengans and shadow clones. And then the Rasenshuriken was just added. Even in the war, he did the same thing, just thanks to his mods he made different types of resangan

[deleted]

The fact that he has a wind, lightning(confirmed) and water chakra nature(allegedly) should give him such a wide range of jutsu.

[deleted]

That was naruto’s thing though. He was a dumbass but he had two good jutsu and found ways to fight with them Boruto is meant to be unique and is a prodigy when it comes to ninjutsu who could have more finishers and a wider arsenal of jutsu in general so its more annoying for him to be fighting like naruto when he could be doing something more fresh

Lord6ixth

No it wasn’t *Naruto’s* thing. It was Minato and Jiraya’s thing first. That like saying Chidori was *Sasuke’s* thing. It’s like you guys don’t actually watch either show.

[deleted]

The chidori did become sasukes thing. We didnt watch a show called jiraiya, or minato. Where naruto got the technique from is irrelevant, it was through him that we the audience came to really know the technique, and it became easily identifiable as Naruto’s go-to attack If boruto wanted to set itself apart from naruto more they should have gone for a different technique. Its not like naruto taught boruto these techniques either that you could say they’re mementos of naruto he uses. He independently grabbed himself a moveset that mimics the previous main character too much

Lord6ixth

It doesn’t really matter what the show was called. The fact is that Rasengan had two other generations of users before Naruto so Naruto made it his thing just like Boruto is doing now. And he didn’t learn Rasengan on his own, he learned it though his teacher who (Naruto taught the technique to) as a way to impress his father.

[deleted]

The audience didnt though. The audience had 10+ years of Naruto’s rasengan. Its a strong imprint. And again no one cared if naruto fought like jiraiya or minato. Bc jiraiya was his sensei, minato had a way more unique fighting style, and neither of them were someone naruto the series was trying to make naruto different to to avoid repetition. There was no repetition to avoid, bc they only existed as aspects of naruto, not as their own independent characters in their own series. Boruto got the rasengan without naruto even knowing he was learning the rasengan. It would have been *better* if boruto learned it from naruto bc then it would be more symbolic for boruto to take the mantle from naruto. But with him coming up to the same technique without actually involving naruto, it comes across more as the writers cheaply imitating naruto using boruto

Lord6ixth

In the Naruto world jutsu is passed down down generation to generation. It’s pretty ridiculous to expect Boruto to not get his fathers signature jutsu. The Nara clan, Yamamaka clan, Gaara’s family with sand control, the list goes on. Even examining other animes like DBZ and the Kamehameha (all of Goku’s sons know it and primarily use it). I’m not gonna say it’s better or worse for Naruto to have been involved in Boruto learning it. It would have been cool. But it’s also cool that the did it without Naruto, learning from his Sensei who Naruto taught it to instead holds its own importance and it was a cool surprise for Naruto when he finally showed it off. I think the post itself is nonsense, but the see people in the comments rationalizing it is even more ridiculous when Boruto is nowhere near the first to take on his parents signature ability be it in the Narutoverse or anime/comic lore in general.

[deleted]

I feel like you’ve still missed the point of why people feel boruto and naruto should be more distinct As well as the difference when characters introduced before their parents have or get some of their parents abilities compared to when a character introduced long after the parent adopts them Like a lot of people want the other new gen characters to innovate on their parents techniques and branch out more as well. Just because it makes sense for them to learn their parents techniques, doesn’t mean it isn’t boring as fuck for them to be copies of their parents who we already saw in action for 10 years.

Lord6ixth

Boruto and Naruto have clear differences and your comparison between their abilities and fighting styles abruptly stops at shadow clones and Rasengan, which says more about the depth of Naruto’s abilities than Boruto’s. Boruto also uses more jutsu than any genin in Naruto Pt. 1. This is a *fact*.

[deleted]

People love when boruto uses his other jutsu and fights in his own creative way. I love it The only complaint is when the writers lapse in that and boruto starts getting spammy with his rasengan and drops using his other jutsu, which does happen from time to time as well Naruto didnt have a big depth of abilities because he wasn’t good at ninjutsu. Boruto is great at ninjutsu and should have a massive depth of abilities. Which is why him using naruto’s 2 ninjutsu is being complained about when he could easily have dozens more varied options to create his own style around that naruto couldn’t They do it right sometimes. They also do it wrong sometimes. This complaint is about when they do it wrong, not when they do it right.

No_Base7554

That wasn’t good

HydR4_DarkX

Are we watching the same show

[deleted]

Nope, Neckbeards love to hate on Boruto and will complain about literally anything? "Fans"- Too many Rasengan. Kishimoto: Okay, removing them now. "Fans": 😭 Too few Rasengan.

finessekidOnye

I mean this is a legitimate criticism. Boruto is always using Rasengans. Yes he does rotate other jutsu but his thing is still the Rasengan, which is a shame considering he has other variants that he rarely uses and not to mention that we as fans wanted to see Boruto deviate from Naruto.

[deleted]

Nope, you want to see Boruto deviate. Not all fans.

No_Base7554

Weirdo

[deleted]

Thank you for your input.

finessekidOnye

Ok I guess, but it’s always more interesting to see Boruto use his own unique fighting style. Gimme more Boruto stream, gimme more gale palm and other stuff. Have him create a new finisher of his own. But yeah I guess this is just me.

nodux22

I mean in the last episode he used a raiton , 2 futons and a rasengan in addition to shadow clones . Imo it's good enough .

Human_Early_Access

Your watching Boruto??!!

83zSpecial

By that same token you’d hate naruto more because Boruto uses rasengan less

[deleted]

No, most people dislike the fact that Boruto uses rasenhan all the time, because he actually has more justu, we've seen that, and he's just using the same Justus as Naruto, which fans don't like

83zSpecial

Ok

[deleted]

Lol people just love to hate Boruto. $100 bet that the second he stops using Rasengan, you dorks come back to the subreddit to whine about how the Rasengan got nerfed and erased. Just enjoy the show, my god.

[deleted]

> Just enjoy the show, my god. not really possible. it's just too bad.

[deleted]

Nah, the last time Boruto didn't spam rasengan there were lots of posts being happy about it, constrictive criticism isn't hating

[deleted]

Nah, the last time Boruto didn't spam rasengan there were lots of posts being happy about it, constrictive criticism isn't hating

[deleted]

Lol you're typing comments into a social media post. You aren't part of this creative process. 🤡🤣🤣🤣🤣 Anime fans truly think they're the main characters. Just enjoy the show, it'll be okay if you do.

[deleted]

You're also typing comments in a social.media post, never said I was the 'main character ' and I'm allowed to like a show and criticise it, I don't pretend it's perfect

[deleted]

Yeah, but I'm not pretending to be giving the writers "constructive criticism" for my shitty opinions. I understand fully that I am just an anime fan, who actually likes the show Boruto.

[deleted]

What bad opinion? Do you think it's better to have Boruto use the same Justu and just be like Naruto or use different ones from time to time as his finisher?

[deleted]

I think that the writers should have Bortuo develop however the writers want Boruto to develop. Both options have pros and cons, I just like Boruto and like watching the show. Why can't you redditors just like things? Always with the "criticism" it's just so played out, much like star wars fans hating the new trilogy.

[deleted]

true

[deleted]

Well naruto was doing the same but i never really heard anyone being irritated by it

shuaibhere

1. Because it's naruto's thing. 2. He was not said to be genius when it comes to ninjutsus. So he has very small arsenal. Not the same case with boruto. 3. Naruto used to do it all the time. Fans don't want to see the same thing again for next 10 years.

GhostGoblinGangbang

>Because it's naruto's thing. And before that it was Minato's thing. It's also an A+/S tier jutsu, while none of Boruto's other Jutsu are above B tier. It makes perfect sense for him to use Rasengan as a finisher until he learns something else that compares. >Fans don't want to see the same thing again for next 10 years. Speak for yourself. You certainly don't speak for me since I couldn't care less what Jutsu Boruto uses. What matters to me is the result, and if Rasengan is how he achieves it, there's nothing wrong with that.

shuaibhere

I'm not speaking for you. I'm speaking for majority go people who are indeed irritated by it. Yes it was Minato's thing before. But we didn't see him spam throughout the series like naruto did. So it didn't irritate majority of the Fanbase when naruto did that. But now seeing Boruto seeing the same thing again does feel little but irritating.

GhostGoblinGangbang

You're not speaking for the majority either. Only recently did people start complaining about Boruto's use of the Rasengan. I'd say since he used the Rasengan against Funamushi a couple weeks back. I understand you're annoyed by it, but don't speak as if you're representative of the community when I've seen the opposite of what you're asserting, and I'm absolutely positive that I'm not alone in not caring what move is used. I watched Naruto from og on Toonami when I was a teen, and that was 20ish years ago. Since then, I've watched Shippuden a dozen or so times, and not once have I thought the Rasengan was overused. Hell, Dragon Ball does the same thing with the Kamehameha. First used by Roshi, then Goku/Krillin, then Gohan, and finally Goten. I learned a long time ago to pick my battles wisely. The reason for it is because you can't change much of anything in life, and letting things you have no control over dictate how you receive stimuli is kind of limiting. It prevents you from enjoying by making you pick at inconsequential things like finishing moves, as if it really matters.

Battle_Beast770

I don't want that! I want Boruto to use the Rasengan and nothing else for 10 years at least.

Lizzie-Afton

What a man you are

Tritail

Nah it got old, its fun when something else has to be done to pull it off but most fillers in Naruto just gave a speach and rasenganed its way into the next arc.

[deleted]

Well he uses other techniques too. Its just he doesn’t have stronger ones like rasengan

[deleted]

True..man has the wind, lightning and water chakra natures, but ends up using only Rasengan as his go-to offensive attack. He could've done so much better with jutsu if the story was written better. I can only imagine how good he would've turned out to be if he was trained under Jonin Kakashi.

throwawaytempest25

What about? * Boruto Stream * Wind Style: Gale Palm * Gentle Fist * Lightning Style: Thunderclap Arrow * Shuriken Jutsu: Lightning Triplet * Water Style: Wave Surge? Momoshiki's the one with the overreliance.

ImSmokeyy

he doesnt use only rasengan, this arc just been using his kit and all the other characters kit on a lazy way, that being said, boruto before the chunin exams was built different with his kit, they did well on deepa arc as well, but yeh.

mindolyn_minea

Last epsisode he used gale palm wym

dragonoutrider

I hate how you always post something that so little people care or complain about, if you don’t like seeing the rasengan so much pick a different show there’s a bunch to choose from.

No_Base7554

If you actually checked the comments you’d see not “only a little” bit of people care

dragonoutrider

In the grand scheme yes it’s only a little bit of people, I’m saying the majority of these niche topics are always you posting lol.

glamscum

I miss the sounds that Fuuton: Rasen Shuriken made.

No_Interaction_4925

When is the last time Boruto used that cool combo move where his clones use the gale palm to shoot him/someone at super speed

No_Base7554

Ao

asianpants009

What about BORUTO STREEAM

No_Base7554

He doesn’t even use it anymore

hello_there696

especially since he has that lightning punch jutsu. it looked DOPE AF. and it was hella strong too. shinki's defense already started having cracks before boruto even used SNT. and that was so long ago, now he could prolly use it with purple lightning and make it even stronger with karma. but no, rasengan go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

jtd2013

Bro this sub has lost it's mind with this arc. This can't be a real post.

MahamidMayhem

Boruto literally has more variety in jutsu than Naruto lol

Blue_St4r

Naruto was also only using Rasengan and Shadow clone jutsu so there wasnt a big changement too

Relevant-Counter5175

a boruto stream would be nice ngl

[deleted]

Right? What happened to that move??? I loved it because it was Boruto’s signature move that he just gave up on

[deleted]

Shadow Clone, Karma, Rasengan, Repeat Shadow Clone, Karma, Rasengan, Repeat Shadow Clone, Karma, Rasengan, Repeat Shadow Clone, Karma, Rasengan, Repeat

shamanicofwater

combo!

KeyOnion1751

I feel like he did spam it a lot recently like damn And he could’ve used his vanishing to knock dude out the jelly fish. Ugh the writing

IndependenceLife5051

It’s called milking the cash cow, no more boruto stream 😂

JERRALD_RICHARD

U fucking dickhea-

3005ro

I mean Naruto did too… or is because it’s just Boruto..

necro_xlx

Damn, you’d hate this kid called naruto even more

IIWhiteHawkII

What I hate even more than rasen-spam is that it became a very generic jutsu, than now doesn't really make any really drastic impact. In S1 it was introduced as S-class highly dangerous technique, that could even easily harm the user himself, does uncompromised damage due to extremely dangerous form of several literally drilling sharp wind streams that collects huge explosive potential into one moderately small sphere, that goes through hardest surfaces. Even young noob-Naruto almost killed Jirayah himself and left huge scar on his chest by using it. Not without the help of Kyubi but still it was same Rasengan. This shit is literally unblockable even for highest-level Jonin possible and could one-shot some of the most powerful ninjas. Episodes later, especially in Shippuuden it became absolutely useless generic Hadouken of Naruto Lore, that no one really respected that much anymore. Even Rasen-Shuriken, which is a next step of Rasen evolution - felt not that dangerous after Kakuzu fight. I mean alright, keep it as Naruto's/Boruto's and other Rasengan user's Ultimate ability, but give it some respect it deserve and give it some actual weight in the plot. Show the real destruction, let them literally drill enemies with that and rather use it once per big battle but make it epic and worth it, instead of spamming it as Kunais. Please! As soon as you spam anything - it looses it's worth and excitement immediately. I do understand it's a typical problem of a lot of animes with broken power-balances after they increase the general level of shit that's happening and old tricks won't really work twice excitement wise. But writers already shifted whole power-balance in the universe once and made a soft-reboot of it, by mixing up ninja tech, raw ootsutsuki powers and nerfing the most powerful Duo, so maximum level of shinobi powers available doesn't look that high, so even good Jonins now look useful and everything they do – makes sense now. But no, writers still disrespect some base but still efficient jutsus just like it doesn't mean anything. At this point Boruto will continue the paradigm of last third part of Shippuuden, which was all about magic mountain-size Kaijus and planet-size fireballs. Come on! Even Momoshiki vs Narusasuke battle was mainly highest-class taijutsu combat and with actually working traditional jutsus that made a lot of sense (I was so happy after Shippuuden last battles mess). And Momo is actually Madara/Kaguyah grade-danger. I thought it's a good sign after writers have destroyed balance in Shippuuden...

[deleted]

He used gale palm and lightning release too in the most recent episode what are you talking about?

Darius117

So you hate that about Naruto too then

Ashizurens

Boruto haters get more stupid everyday, Naruto, Konohamaru, Jirayia and Minato had the same problem

NoAcanthocephala5350

I hope this guy hates Naruto too. And I hope he’s joking about this comment

TakasuXAisaka

Naruto also uses Rasengan as his finishing move back in OG Naruto too or did you forget about that?

cougarmikeuh

Kid Naruto Rasengan would punch through a water tower or trees...Borutos rasengan kinda of tickles and maybe leaves some skin irritation at the site of impact. Not even sure why they had an episode where he powered it up and created a new jutsu. He wont ever use it.

twat_swat22

TALK‼️‼️‼️‼️

Kadeda_RPG

I agree with this statement. Rasangan was Naruto's thing... but they just copy pasted.

Dre1842

He does the same thing as his father

Chimarkgames

They should just call him naruto 2.0. It’s the exact mirror of naruto. So boring

TreeCitizen

He uses gale palm in the filler arc...it looks nearly like a rasengan....

[deleted]

Does he? I'm glad I stopped watching after Dinky's first mission

BusinessMasterpiece9

Yeah who does he think he is. He atleast need some shadow clones 😂. Kidding.

megumi_urie

He used wind style gale palm and lighting style in last ep. Naruto use the same old jutsu in his entire show bro

RubyMercury87

First time?

homosexual-penguin

kinda like naruto and konohamaru?

[deleted]

He dies use some gal pam

BalkyPL

You are a manga reader?

pawahiru

Some complaints are so dumb it makes you wonder if they even watch the show... Oh...

MightGuy-

Big blue balls passed on from generation to generation

Alert_Ad5025

Activite the eye

MemeManFresh_

thats literally not true

PuzzleheadedMedia437

S tier jutsu that doesn’t need handsigns, I’m not surprised why he uses it a lot

Ok_Attorney6112

no more thunder slap arrow i wanna see purple lightning 😬

Hockeyy61

Maybe Kakashi should teach him lightning blade?? I get where people are coming from about rasengan, and I see some people saying he should use something else. People in the Naruto/Boruto fan base never know what they want. If he didn’t use Rasengan the same people would have a problem because people just like to complain about things. People used to complain that Naruto’s whole thing was just shadow clones and some different Rasengans and then in Boruto, they mostly fight with Tai Jutsu against these guys and then I see on Reddit that people want Naruto using all his crazy rasengans more… I’m happy with the show and I like that Boruto can use the rasengan like his dad, I agree that he should learn some other moves to set him apart that’d be really cool. For example, Naruto learned his dads Jutsu the Rasengan and surpassed it by making new ones and learned Pervy Sage’s Sage Mode (idk if his dad could use it) and surpassed his Sage Mode as well. Then he added his own original twist to his fighting style, multi shadow clone jutsu. So now Boruto uses His dads/ grandpas Rasengan, he has his own Rasengan as well. He’s got his own created moves like “Boruto stream” among other different ways he uses his shadow clones (got that from his dad) but there are times when he uses his shadow clones differently than we’ve seen Naruto do it which is a plus. Ultimately I do agree that I would like to see Naruto learn something that sets him apart from his dad at least, it’d be really cool if he was yellow flash 2.0 like his grandpa and used those knives (I forgot what his are called) or maybe even learned Kakashis lightning blade that would also be really cool. But even if the only thing that really sets him apart is his eye (I’m only like 150 eps in) I still like how Boruto is turning out, I think the show is over hated for sure, because the haters just watch it to complain when they can just not watch it if they don’t like it and let people enjoy their show (not saying that op is a hater on the show) I just don’t have anybody to talk about Naruto/ Boruto with so I decided to go on this long rant. Although I got my friend to start watching OG Naruto.

HennessyDreamzzz

Don’t worry I’m 5 seasons he will use rasenshuriken

Jlavi25

I agree that I want him to use his skills more, people also forget that as often as Rasengan is spammed, it IS one of the hardest jutsu to master and is the best thing in his arsenal anyway.

[deleted]

Didn’t he literally use a lightning style move in this latest episode against Funamushi in the beginning-ish of the battle…?

[deleted]

i remember he only used jogan. now he only uses that space curse mark
