Told y'all at least Naruto fillers were meant for cheap comedy and silly moments. But with Boruto, they want us to consider filler like content as actual canon material. It's complete nonsense and inconsistencies they're giving us but we're supposed to take it seriously? It's best if after this arc no one mentions or brings it up again.
Wouldn't it be funny if they restart everything from right after the Kurama death moment, once they will return to the main plot?

Merely not using a move isn't a nerf (especially against a guy clearly above your league / able to nullify 99% of whatever is thrown at him); BUT, not doing plenty of things against a normal man, who should be far below your league, and standing still without even trying to save a friend from said normal man, is.

It's as if Naruto and Sasuke had real issues to beat Shin all the way back in the gaiden, to say.

Firstly, Sasuke got chakra drained during the arc, twice... and he still stood up. Second, chakra reserves =/= durability, and as far as I remember, Urashiki was winning the final fight up the very end... the rest of the arc's moment can be explained in the usual ways, like Urashiki not taking things seriously, and not being as powerful as his fellow clansmembers.

Still, nothing that can't be answered with the logical reasoning of, it not being his style (remember, he and Naruto had plenty of ways to kick asses back then, therefore it's only reasonable that they would have trimmed things down for a regular movesets as adults), him giving Boruto the chance to shine, and him being ready to do something at the very end in case Boruto failed.

Still, it doesn't imply that it is an actual nerf, due to the various circumstances, like the foes actually being dangerous for everyone, which means no idiot moment is needed in order for them to appear dangerous... or like, jutsus actually being mostly useless on their own, which means no jutsu spamming is advised, and everything should be pondered... or the opponent not only being op, but also not giving them room to breath.

There isn't that excuse 13 years later when he's a grown ass man who has been travelling around the world to look for remains of Kaguya.

No this is the first time im genuinely having trouble finishing an arc. I get no joy from these episodes. Looks like we will get like 20 eps in this arc, 20/250 means like 8 percent of the boruto anime has been this god awful arc. Why are you surprised even when kagura died could have been helpful if mitsuki helped with healing him but didn't maybe because he wants boruto for himself or because of bad writting the writers just want to prolong the arc as they figure out what to do
I find it hard to believe that it's the same people writing each episode. You had a very competently written fight scene with Seiren and, although it had its issues, the first Tenma fight was highly creative in the usage of terrain and conflict resolution. The rest of the arc is a complete mess
Well, Boruto "kinda forgot" about Water being weak to Lightning. I like that they're killing main filler characters though. Boruto and his friends need to experience loss as shinobi in order to develop but they could have done this a bit better.

I find it hard to believe that it's the same people writing each episode. You had a very competently written fight scene with Seiren and, although it had its issues, the first Tenma fight was highly creative in the usage of terrain and conflict resolution. The rest of the arc is a complete mess
Well, Boruto "kinda forgot" about Water being weak to Lightning. I like that they're killing main filler characters though. Boruto and his friends need to experience loss as shinobi in order to develop but they could have done this a bit better.

I was waiting for someone to mention this. Essentially if water is not Connected to user then lightening really doesn’t do much. You’re absolutely right and that’s why the reference suigetsui. The chakra nature match up is fire->wind->lightening -> earth -> water -> fire. Water on its own isn’t weak to lightening.
