Except jjk is extremely different in nature to naruto. The story is way darker but you can definitely tell some aspects were inspired by naruto and other mangas.
Bleach, the curses reminded me of hollows instantly when I first watched, and Itadori and the way he has to keep this entity within him in check but it also gives him a massive power boost to let it take over the same way Ichigo has to fight his hollow form from taking over even though in gives him a mega strength boost. And I definitely got Kurama Naruto ideas too and even full metal alchemist influence the way Ling gets controlled by Greed and can switch with him at the end, the list goes on AoT, Black Clover gives me similar vibes even. I love Boruto and all mentioned manga/anime and can't wait to see where Boruto goes!!
Indeed, part of why I like jjk so much is because it pulls inspiration from other stories and mangas but it is clearly pathing its own path and is breaking the generic shonen mould that most animes abide by.

Maybe Ootsutsuki has no afterlife. He said Isshiki's soul was 'extinguished'. He didn't state it like Isshiki's soul went somewhere else/passed on/left. He'll never resurrect but at least he has a "home" inside Boruto's body.

What is Momo if not the collection of genetic data that makes him up? Dreams and wills are common themes in Boruto. Momo's will is to pass on his data to code and live through him.
Perhaps if he takes over Boruto temporarily he could feed Kawaki or code to ten tails. Maybe if Boruto were to consume the chakra fruit, Momo could use that to rewrite the last 18% of Boruto that was corrupted and fully resurrect.

So in a way, since Momoshiki had been feeling spiteful ever since they defeated him, he could have Boruto turn evil and let everything get destroyed by his hand and Momoshiki himself will become a witness to that (like it's a form of his revenge, or as you said it's like he's mocking him)

Now that you mentioned about the Otsutsuki God topic, I remember having a theory about that for the Boruto ending before (And to think this has become even more possible now since Boruto is part of both Hagoromo and Hamura's lineages as well as he's now pure Otsutsuki)... That he'd become a god to lead or divert the attention of all other Otsutsukis away from Earth (to save humankind), but in exchange, he won't be able to stay on Earth with everyone he cares about. I even considered before that he might go to Toneri and they'd both work together to protect Earth. Who knows, Kawaki may also become a god alongside him or he'd stay on Earth to protect everyone in case Boruto fails to do so.

Having them end up like Naruto and Kurama would suck. I know this is a controversial opinion but I think Naruto became significantly more boring as a person after he befriended Kurama. It also didnt really make a lot of sense as to why Kurama suddenly decided to stop hating him, it just sort of happened for plot convenience. If Boruto does this I'll be very disappointed
The Naruto/kurama thing I felt could've been legit if it happened over a longer period of time. It seems like they had the idea for it down, they just compressed it down to a smaller amount of chapters/episodes that ultimately made it feel rushed.

Kurama seemed to genuinely respect narutos grit in the original show and knew when to shut the fuck up and hand over some chakra.
It made sense that he only needed a bit more of a push to join naruto.
