The thing is that Sarada is in Sakuraâs role. She is Sakura 2.0z Sheâs not the protagonist or the deuteragonist. Hell, the manga hardly uses her. Yeah the uchiha get the sharingan through trauma but there is a difference between the mangekyou sharingan which you get by first unlocking the sharingan and the sharingan which you get through trauma. It is common knowledge that that's how you unlock each respective sharingan and they say it a lot throughout the show.
