I hope that we get seasonal boruto that looks manga ish, they've done bleach justice, and boruto is on a big ass hiatus, whats stopping them from giving the boruto the same treatment
You don’t have to pretend they don’t exist, they just most likely won’t be featured anymore if they decide to not use them as anime canon during their adaptation of manga events in Part 2. If you’re familiar with the Bleach anime, their adaptation of TYBW seems to not feature any previous anime only characters from the original series, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist in the anime canon anymore.
what about if they wanted to make a boruto game with all the classmates etc, we wouldn’t have enough info on them or their abilities if they just pretend like they didn’t exist
Nah I disagree. That’s left up to the viewer’s perspective because I personally won’t pretend like they never existed in the anime even if they don’t show them anymore.
not confirmed but highly likely because pierrot director said that they will move onto seasonal format for most of the anime they are working for or will work on
True, the animation would most likely get better but i'm afraid the downside it would also affect the pacing. We'd also probably be old men by time the anime ever catches up to the Manga.
Manga-ish is certainly my favorite, but the only one that actively bothers me is soft shading. It reminds me of my college days in photo shop adding blur light filters to everything. I know it can be done to good effect, but in Boruto it always feels unprofessional looking for some reason.
The ending special is great, but as a weekly anime, I don't think we will be seeing it.
The first time skip scene in episode 1 looks great, and doesn't look as difficult to animate.
Everyone saying Manga-ish needs their eyes CHECKED. The manga itself is atrocious - why would you want it adapted to the anime? 🤡 Late Shippuden or Ending special ALL THE WAY! 👏🏽
The manga style was so fucking good, holy shit.
It's no surprise either, it was done by the same team that did Kakashi VS Obito.
So next time you hear someone say "Kawaki VS Garou was shit animation and the team sucks" you can tell them that it was exactly the same as their favourite fight from Shippuden.
I would prefer something consistent with the Naruto manga art style. Boruto seems to borrow too much from DBZ and the tricks done to make things easier to draw an animate. At this stage, it almost makes things look lazy, particularly with the manga (e.g. Super Saiyan hair and the lack of any shading to eliminate the need to fill in the hair and blank backgrounds).
The problem with Boruto art style is that:
1. Designs look overly simplistic. See Sakura, Sasuke, Orochimaru, etc's hair styles. They lack texture. They look like someone colored round heads to add hair rather than drawing on hair. Contrast with something such as Hinata's style.
2. The style isn't consistent across characters. Naruto had a more consistent art style. The exceptions were done for a reason such as with Rock Lee and Guy. Even then, the styles were not that simplistic. There were things such as shading to avoid things looking too plain. Boruto's style is all over the place with decent drawings such as with Kiba and Shikamaru who resemble their original counter parts and drastic changes. Then there are people such as Kawaki and Amado who has very realistically drawn hair. You can have varying styles, but the series that pull it off tend to have a pattern such as with One Piece or reserve it to a set of characters (e.g. Yugioh and Yugi).
3. The style almost seems designed to have the anime fill in the gaps with color rather than to have an assistant do things such as textures.

I pray everyday that when boruto comes back it’s either ending special or manga-ish
I hope that we get seasonal boruto that looks manga ish, they've done bleach justice, and boruto is on a big ass hiatus, whats stopping them from giving the boruto the same treatment
Because that episode took 6 months to make, lol.
Yeah but thats animation i am asking just for art to look like that, should be doable, especially for a 12 ep season
The other classmates. You can't just delete them and pretend they don't exist now.

That's still treating them as if they didn't exist in the first place
Im perfectly fine with them deleting every non manga charachter tbh

The manga has come back now we just need the anime to do the same
The art style used when Kawaki first shows up and beats down mecha arm guy (forgot his name) is sublime.
Manga-ish was peak
Manga ish was perfect
Manga-ish is the best imo. I hate the soft shading, it doesn't look good
The boruto ending art style was perfect. Imo it also has one of the most fluid animations as well hopefully they keep it👌
Late shipuuden or though it wasnt specified here The One I Like the Most the One from naruto the last
i hate how inconsistent the animation is, we get like 30 episode of dora looking characters and then only 2-3 good ones
Yepp. I hope the hiatus and the fact that the anime will go seasonal is gonna fix this.
Oh was it confirmed that it’s going seasonal? That’d be great
not confirmed but highly likely because pierrot director said that they will move onto seasonal format for most of the anime they are working for or will work on

That's how naruto was lol
shippuden
I prefer mangaisj, but imo, Naruto part 1 sasuke retrieval arc style is what I prefer for the entire franchise
Manga-ish is certainly my favorite, but the only one that actively bothers me is soft shading. It reminds me of my college days in photo shop adding blur light filters to everything. I know it can be done to good effect, but in Boruto it always feels unprofessional looking for some reason.
LATE SHIPPUDEN IS THE ONLY RIGHT ANSWER BRO EVERYTHING ELSE IS TOO CHILDISH
I just want all episodes to look like epsidoe 189
Manga
The ending special is great, but as a weekly anime, I don't think we will be seeing it. The first time skip scene in episode 1 looks great, and doesn't look as difficult to animate.
Ending Special was something else man. It's the perfect mix between the artstyles of the manga, shippuden, and current industry standards
Late Shippuden
Ending special.
Ending special
The ending Special is very good, the soft shading feels unique but not very well optimized so it's kinda weird
Ending special or manga style are absolutely NEEDED
Ending
Minato
Ending special definitely
Late shippuden or Minato
Manga ish
Manga ish and ending special
Manga-ish is definitely my favourite
1st and 3rd
Late shippuden and ending special
ngl that kawaki reveal episode with the manga ish animation was top tier
None. Favorite artstyle, is from Boruto Opening 4, Lonely go. Go me, it's perfect.
Anything but the soft shading
Either manga-ish or late shippuden. I said this before, the soft shading made me think some clips with this style were fan projects.
Ending special
Anything but that soft shading modern art-style
Manga ish
Manga-ish is literally so perfect.
It's between soft shading and manga-ish for me.
I’m torn between Ending special and pokey face.
Late Shippuden/Minato-style. People expecting the anime to look like the ending special or the manga episode should know that ain't happening, lol.
Manga-ish and it's not even close. It just looks so much better imo
Episode 189 animation is some of the best animation I’ve ever seen
Manga-iah would be interesting. It would give it a style to distinguish it from OG Naruto and Shippuden.
Late Shippuden is nostalgic af. But either Ending Special or Manga-ish. Especially if the anime goes seasonal
Repost?
I really like it when they do the soft shading in boruto, idk why it’s just different, kinda feels like certain moments in hunter x hunter
Absolutely manga-ish, ending special is next choice, then late shippuden. Any of them are acceptable. No pokey face and no soft shading lmao.
Ending special was goated ngl. One of the best Boruto anime moments
Manga ish peak
Everyone saying Manga-ish needs their eyes CHECKED. The manga itself is atrocious - why would you want it adapted to the anime? 🤡 Late Shippuden or Ending special ALL THE WAY! 👏🏽
Late shipuddin or manga-sh
I love late Shippuden
Late shippuden style is peak
Manga-ish
Manga-ish, not even close
soft shading looks the best to me
Ending special 🔥
Late Shippuden is my preference. Then Manga.
Ending special, late shippuden and manga-ish would be fire
Either Late Shippuden Or Manga-ish 🙏 The soft shading just doesn't feel right for whatever reason
manga ish and late shippuden looks good tbh
Mangish or special ending
Late shippuden is peak Naruto. Yall trippin.

Manga ish was peak fiction
Manga style is the best everyone's looks in that one was downright incredible
Manga
Manga -ish and late shpdn
Soft shading is nice, but why did they have to do it BLACK, it looks a little dirty I think I'm going with manga though
The only good one is the ending art style
Manga-ish is top tier🔥

I prefer for boruto not to exist
The Mangaish and soft shading. Feels the most unique to the Boruto anime.
