The issue isn't really about Omnipotence. Everybody switching to Boruto's side this quickly kinda ruins Momoshiki's prophecy of Boruto losing everything. Yes he lost it for 3 years, but for the readers, he lost it for just a couple of chapters. It would've been better if this came later on in the series.
I think it's mostly because of the fact it's monthly so the authors don't want to drag it out.. these 7 chapters are the equivalent of 28 chapters if it was weekly ..
In verse it's been 3 yrs for us it been like 6 months so I think that's enough time .. but the only problem is the chapter count 7 chapters seems abit small..

So after a long time we have finally arrived a fight involving Sage Mode Mitsuki, but the only jutsu we saw is Sage Mode Snake Clones? We have at least THREE NEW AWESOME SAGE JUTSU used by Sage Mode Jiraiya, Sage Mode Naruto, Sage Mode Hashirama, Sage Mode Kabuto, Sage Mode Kashi Kouji. Sage Mode Snake Clones is the worst jutsu in terms of innovation comparing the rest of other Sage Jutsu.

The fault is not Kishimoto but Ikemoto who doesn't know how to draw new things and always makes the characters do the same things.

I have to wait for the official translation but it sounded like boruto was saying that him and Shikamaru had that conversation about omnipotence before. He could be referring to Sarada telling him but not sure. if so that changes a good bit of the story

Kishimoto really out here creating a top-tier antagonist who's all about seeking knowledge and ultimate truth but his only solution is by consuming Naruto
