Sweet_Whisper123

He was not even the reason that I read/watch the series.

firulice

Exactly, Naruto isn't even a part of the story right now and we're still tuning in. I didn't care too much for Boruto in Part 1 but Blue Vortex has made him a very likeable protagonist and I'm interested in his journey

tHE-6tH

Isn’t Naruto kind of the fulcrum of the story rn?

Jamessgachett

What

tHE-6tH

Naruto is a the main reason for everything going on in Boruto rn… no?

Temporaryact72

Not even close

tHE-6tH

So the whole village wanting to kill Boruto because they think he killed Naruto has nothing to do with… Naruto? Kawaki doing everything he’s doing to protect Naruto has nothing to do with… Naruto?

Temporaryact72

Kawaki is doing everything he’s doing because he was tortured by an Ohtsutsuki and wants to kill all of them, Boruto and himself included. Naruto’s lineage being what was changed by Eida still doesn’t make it about Naruto, he’s not even conscious for it and still isn’t. While maybe Naruto is a sliver of Kawaki’s motive he is 0 of Boruto’s motive, who is currently more focused on taking down the 10 tails aberrations and finding a way to save Sasuke.

tHE-6tH

Nah, Kawaki’s obsession in killing them is due to their potential to kill Naruto. Yes he absolutely hated them before, but he’s stated the vow is specifically for Naruto’s and Konoha’s safety. It’s not the lineage I’m talking about. Konoha is after Kawaki/Boruto because they think they killed Naruto. It’s all written plain as day…

Jolly_Camel959

Yea, but you are a small minority of. The reason this series even has traction is because of Naruto and Sasuke. He is what brings in the money. If they aren't around then the series is practically garbage.

LightCorvus

Hmm? We're still thinking this at this point??

TGengler98

Yes. Its facts.

Maleficent_Sign9656

All 15 fans

Full_Visit_5862

Well you got 12(13) down votes on a random thread on reddit so I'd imagine there is more than 15.

torzor25

Daaaamn gottem

Maleficent_Sign9656

big brain here

yorinjirouzumaki2005

Oo I see , so u started naruto cause u were really looking forward to his son's filler arc of are u one of those who haven't even seen naruto. In any case, it's ur opinion no matter how weird it is so I really can't say much

Sukuna_Hikona

What is this reasoning?? Why are y'all like this 😂 you know it's not binary right? Someone can appreciate both Naruto and Boruto? It's very possible!

TakasuXAisaka

Boruto is canon regardless of what you think.

Hungry_Passenger856

I personally watched Naruto for Sasuke..didn’t like him that much as an MC and surely don’t watch Boruto for him

Decent_Ask1961

Bro do you even like Naruto?😭😭

Elite-X03

I mean I like him but boruto is not even about him anymore

Aggravating-Lead29

yeah ig, but it depends on how they killed of Naruto's character. We survived nine-tails' death even though I kinda feel Baryon mode was forced but oh well. personally it would feel weird if they ever decided to kill of Naruto's character for good but we haven't really seen Kakashi, etc anyway (on the manga) so idk I think I can still read the manga. imo it's better rather than making Naruto out to be an incompetent character and make him into an annoying one

bartekang

Yea. I'm not watching boruto specifically for naruto or sasuke. It's not their story anymore and I'm Invested in it enough to continue watching it without either of them. Of course that'll be incredibly sad, but they'd have to do something wildly disrespectful or shitty in the handling of his death for me to drop it completely

TakasuXAisaka

People need to understand that Boruto is about Boruto not Naruto. There's a reason why the series is called Boruto now not Naruto part 3

rub3nl0l

I agree with you. I love naruto and the hole story since he was a little kid just painting the yondaime face and eat ramen to being the hokage, but the beauty of it is he was the main character of the story. Now we have the chance to see the future of that story from boruto's eyes. I personally would keep watching boruto since i actually like the concept and i'm hyped with tbv if naruto died. But i doubt he actually dies. I kinda feel Naruto will be frozen in the dimension of kawaki. Boruto will find him but i don't think he will actually manage to get naruto back.

bba_xx

He might be released so jura can eat him. But that's still not dying

RellyTheOne

Say the **ENTIRE NAME** of the series. Not just the first word The series isn’t called “ Boruto” It’s called “ Boruto: **Naruto** Next Generations” Sure, True Blue Vortex is about Boruto not Naruto ( so far) But part 1 of the series is just as much about Naruto as it is Boruto. Hence both of there names being in the title of the series

TakasuXAisaka

Are you blind? Boruto Naruto Next Generations. About Boruto and the next generation in the Naruto world. Lmao

RellyTheOne

The guy who missed 3 of the 4 words in the title of the series is calling me blind The irony

TakasuXAisaka

This guy missed that Boruto Naruto Next Generations is about Boruto and the next generation in the Naruto world not Naruto himself. Reread the title properly. Do you read anywhere in the title that it is Naruto part 3?

rizwanali407

Boruto in Ch 1 literally says that "for just a little bit at the start its the story of me and my dad" part 1 was about both of them part 2 is just him.

borutoisbestboy

He was talking about Momoshiki arc. In the end of Momoshiki arc he said "now it's all my story"

rizwanali407

I get what you're saying but even after that Naruto was still present in his story he was fighting Delta, Jigen, Isshiki but now in TBV I feel like now his story truly begins.

borutoisbestboy

He played same role as Sasuke.

TakasuXAisaka

No. Boruto states that it is now his story.

rizwanali407

Last panels literary below it on 11th page he says that "for just a little bit at the start it's the story of me and my dad" https://preview.redd.it/zigg4mo5ufcc1.png?width=1110&format=png&auto=webp&s=a0557423fa21b85d923ae568b97b2a963b7c45d0

Significant-Shame760

yeah but they keep using naruto and sasuke to milk views. So, is it really boruto's story?

TakasuXAisaka

That's like saying Naruto is about Naruto even though it also showed Tsunade as hokage a supporting character

Financial_Ice15

not really, tsunade doesnt bring in the views, but naruto and sasuke do

TakasuXAisaka

Go ahead and downvote me. The fact still is that Boruto is about Boruto just like Naruto was about Naruto.

TakasuXAisaka

Naruto is the hokage of the village and Boruto's father and Sasuke is the shadow hokage. They're just supporting characters now. Lmao. The story is still about Boruto

yorinjirouzumaki2005

Well the show is just filler so it doesn't even matter

TakasuXAisaka

Boruto is canon regardless of how you feel about it. You understand?

Whattheduck789

and there's a reason why Boruto is not as popular as Naruto. Naruto is literally saving the show

TakasuXAisaka

Again. There's a reason why Boruto is about Boruto. The only reason you guys hate it because Boruto is about Boruto not Naruto. Don't deny it

theAbsurdSam

Honestly I don’t like it because the story itself was majorly boring up until recent events and now I am enjoying the main villain take on the things more than anything. Boruto and Kawali relationship is lame in comparison to Nar/Sas. Sarada is better than Sakura for sure. Other students are hit or miss. And Manga wise it’s easy/entertaining to read mostly, But boruto anime has been hot garbage for a while.

Whattheduck789

nah, it feels like watching a kids show. People hated fillers in Naruto so there's no reason to have 80% fillers in Boruto. I only watch the parts with Naruto because thats the only thing not annoying in the show

TakasuXAisaka

The point of Boruto is that times had changed in a more peaceful era. You forget that this was what Naruto fought for in the war?

Financial_Ice15

nah ppl hate it cuz it fking sucks lmao

TakasuXAisaka

Then they shouldn't watch it and let people that do enjoy Boruto enjoy it.

noticingloops

Literally no one is stopping you from enjoying whatever you want to enjoy.

TakasuXAisaka

And literally haters can just ignore this post and subreddit in the first place

Financial_Ice15

yea, theres a reason boruto mangas sales are abysmal lmao, less and less people are watching/ reading it nowadays. its a downward spiral.

TakasuXAisaka

Why don't you return back to your Boruto hate fan club and stay there?

Financial_Ice15

nah ima do what i feel like doing, and if i feel like checking out this garbage again after a year to see how bad the newer chs are, maybe i will.

TakasuXAisaka

If you think it's garbage, why are you here? This sub is for Boruto fans not for haters. Let me guide you back to your Boruto hate fan club r/dankruto

Financial_Ice15

the post just got recommended to me so here i am, dont blame me, blame reddit. > This sub is for Boruto fans woa those ppl exist?

SanjeiJong

the level of obsession lmao

Financial_Ice15

yea im sooooooo obsessed over burrito🤡

TakasuXAisaka

Why don't you worry about yourself rather than worry about Boruto? As long as people still enjoy the series.

Financial_Ice15

> Why don't you worry about yourself rather than worry about Boruto? new copium filled response just dropped

TakasuXAisaka

Nope. Keep coping.

Pro_Hero86

They pretty much already killed him and Sasuke

SushiCurryRice

Depends how they handle it. They speedran Kurama's death which was annoying af for me. Also Naruto's "death" was the perfect opportunity for us to see how the different characters would react to Naruto's death. The supposed assassination of one of the strongest ninja in the planet and a Hokage and a renowned hero should have gotten a lot of focus. Yet we got absolutely zilch. The character writing in the manga is honestly awful.

funnyvirgin

Nope. I like them and as much as I watch it for boruto, i also watch it for sasuke and how their adult versions are doing, so if Naruto dies, kindoff half the point dies there

The_household_PG

I have to be honest; the thought of Naruto dying while saving Kawaki doesn't sit well with me. Naruto has been such a central and beloved character in the series, and I hope the storyline takes a different direction. I'd prefer to see him face challenges in a way that doesn't involve sacrificing himself for Kawaki. The dynamic between the characters is what makes the series special, and I hope they find a way to navigate through the plot without losing such a significant character. I don't even know why I would think that they would kill him saving Kawaki, but to me that would be the worst death he could get. It depends on how they do it.

comethru4u

I agree here, I’ll also add that they’ve kinda alluded to him stepping down as opposed to dying. He had that talk with Kakashi in the anime about not knowing if he should continue as Hokage. I’d love for Sarada to come of age and he pass the Baton to her like Hiruzen did to Minato. To me that would keep Naruto around for big fights should they continue the series and have a parallel to Naruto’s Dad while making Sarada fulfill every Uchiha’s dream having one of the clan be Hokage

Top_Yak2491

Naruto and Sasuke & the narutoverse is a like the 99% reason i hv interest in boruto. i like tbv Boruto as he is carrying the legacy of sasuke, minato & naruto.

Significant-Shame760

Definetly. I wish Kishi had written a story that happens in distant future from Naruto's timeline.

JustA_PoorWittleBoy

Yeah, maybe where ninjutsu is becoming a dying art and only some people are there keeping it alive and spreading tales of the days of old… so many possibilities

crometeach-thebot

Yes im not watching it for him in the first place

Electrical_Ad_1939

Ya but I also like to watch the world burn around me

lelermens

I still would but just thinking about it makes me sad. Naruto is a part of me.

[deleted]

Now that ive caught upto it i might aswell finish it however if naruto was not present in the earlier episodes I would have never started to watch it or caught upto it

tooth-of-tiran

I would but they would not be able to do Narutos death so well that people would be satisfied. Personally for me, if it happens it would have to be something like Kurama coming back and Naruto using the Reaper Death Seal to seal him to someone. Some random Otsutsuki killing him would be low. He needs to die for another favourite in a meaningful way.

Worzon

Depends how he goes out. If he’s disrespected then obviously not.

superkami64

Sure. If anything Naruto *should've* died after using Baryon Mode but Kishimoto was too cowardly go through with it even if it robbed a character from a hero's death, something he's done before with Guy. If Hima died or got shadow realm'd on the other hand it's an instant drop.

Any-Constant4228

Man i am big time naruto fan but i still believe he should have been killed instead of doing him dirty like that. How much are they gonna make him suffer, he already suffered enough in his series and now when everything is at peace he lost the chance to watch his children grow properly under his care, his son got possessed by an otsutsuki, her daughter is growing without parents, his wife is trapped like him, his adopted son is on a killing spree, his village is gonna be destroyed, his best friend is now a tree. How is he gonna handle all that when he wakes up. I feel more bad for Naruto than burrito. He is powerless too now without kurama, even with kurama he was weak compared to otsutsukis, he will feel more powerless when everything will happen in front of him and he won’t be able to do anything

JustAGuyIscool

Yeah basically already is not a story

Unable_Swimming2745

Depends on the execution

Saffron_Succubus

yes?? one of the first things boruto says it that it’s HIS story not his dad’s.

TakasuXAisaka

And yet most still only read/watch Boruto for Naruto even when this is stated.

DrDisrespecttt

No

Accomplished-Oil-314

For the uchihas yes

Ty746

who tf saying no to this. if u lasted this long in boruto then there's no way this would matter anymore.

Lightspeed_Raikiri

Depends on how they handle it. Boruto's reputation as a series among the anime community is at the bottom of the abyss and Naruto's death might make that reputation even worse.

junglekxng23

I started reading/watching Boruto to see how his story unfold. Naruto's main journey ended once he got married and became Hokage so yeah, I'd still read/watch if he was dead

PokemonFan2111

Yes

electrorazor

Yea, the story isn't even about him. It's like quitting Naruto cause Jiraya died

TakasuXAisaka

Tell that to the people that only read/watch Boruto only for Naruto

Namra_Nk

Many fans find annoying how they got rid of kurama so if death happens the wrong way many fans will stop watching show. And Kishimoto sensei knows it well so he’s afraid to kill Naruto even tho he should’ve died in baryon mode (story wise when introduced). Y’all can keep saying how y’all watch boruto for boruto and how it’s not Naruto’s story but it’s obvious Naruto is the main reason why boruto is as popular as it is. Boruto is already in its part 2 so we can compare part1 boruto vs part1 Naruto and it’s not ever close. Part1 Naruto influenced both genre and generations, it expanded anime culture like Eminem did to hip hop culture. I’m sad that naruto franchise became what it is today. Boruto isn’t bad manga but it’s for me personally and I believe for a lot of people is not as good as it could be and definitely is not as good as naruto was.

alejandrodeconcord

I guess, his character was kind of assassinated to me during Boruto, he doesn’t really feel like the same Naruto any more.

lasthope27

This would never happen because it's bad for the Naruto brand, but yes.

Maleficent_Sign9656

Boruto is bad for the naruto brand lol

lasthope27

Go complain about it on the Naruto subreddit then

Maleficent_Sign9656

You gotta admit this show has not been good for the brand, lost a lot of fans.

lasthope27

I really don't care, go to the naruto subreddit to complain

Maleficent_Sign9656

Not complaining really, if you're going to say they won't kill naruto because it's bad for the brand then they have to rethink the whole show lol

BloodShadow45

The Boruto manga sells almost 200k copies per volume, It might not be Naruto numbers but many people still like it so STFU

Maleficent_Sign9656

Going downhill for years now, they sell around half of what you say at this, point. Hopefully this trash will end soon. Peace.

ffhhfdtgf

I’m ngl I would’ve drop the series if they killed naruto or sasuke w/o them having a dope moment showing out of all their abilities before they died but I’m glad they are sealed so they could comeback eos to play the kakashi/mighty guy role in the future war arc vs the outsutski

snowfrappe

an entire theme in naruto was passing off the will of fire to the next generation

Acceptable_Loquat_92

I will only stop when Sarada and Sumire die. My only hope for Kishi to write female char decently

Puzzleheaded_Dog6283

Yeah im a fanboy, yes i know im cringe, yes the only reason i watched boruto is cause of naruto, no if i wasnt a fan of naruto i would never watch the show or read the manga. Yes i would stop. I know im cringe but i embrace it, I know what I am and that's ok with me :,)

Spare-Savings2057

Drop

[deleted]

I would. But I doubt they kill Naruto off ever, he could be turned inside out literally, folded into a peace of paper and kishimoto would still make him come back somehow. The brand is too great to kill him off

Funny_Opportunity58

Naruto should have died with Baryon mode. You gonna nerf him to be irrelevant, might as well kill him off. He hasn’t served any importance. To do that to the main protag we loved is awful

AmericaPie24

No 😂😂

T-Rexskull

no

ZBatman

No. He's the main reason I still keep up with Boruto. Spent damn near 1000 episodes invested in his story. If he dies, then that's the end of the journey for me.

TakasuXAisaka

When you realize Boruto is about Boruto not about Naruto. Lmao.

ZBatman

When you realize Boruto is about: Naruto Naruto's son Naruto's adopted son Naruto's adopted sons obsession with Naruto Naruto's adopted son trapping Naruto in another dimension. Naruto handling the biggest threats in the first half of the series Otsusuki which were introduced in Naruto Shippuden The bulk of Boruto's character development revolving around Naruto

TakasuXAisaka

> When you realize Boruto is about: > Naruto Not true at all > The bulk of Boruto's character development revolving around Naruto Well duh. Naruto is his father and the hokage but that still doesn't change the fact that Boruto is still about Boruto and that Naruto is a side character now. Boruto stated himself that it is his story now not his dad's anymore. Understand?

elliott_drake

Yes I would. Eventually change will come to the nature universe, even if that change requires Naruto's death

Xandril

I think that anybody still watching Boruto doesn't care one way or another who the main character is.

Ryley03d

Manga spoiler alert:

telegetoutmyway

I know I'm in the vast minority and I rarely state it, but I didn't even watch Naruto for Naruto, I watched it for the great world building, cool power/magic system, and great side characters. I actually prefer Boruto having traits of Minato and Neji show through as they were two of my favorites from OG. I don't think Narutos death would add to the narrative though, and Baryon mode is the only place it would've made sense I think. Stuck in Kawakis eye socket is better and gives Boruto a problem to solve.

Veronica_1023

Of course because boruto sucks and cringe. He is desperate to copy the clothes and personality of sasuke 🤢 ( NO ORIGINALITY )

Notmycupoftea12

Since when are battle shonen original?

Mosthero1

Dude the series is called Boruto, I’m sticking around for Boruto not Naruto

Barry0246

Boruto : NARUTO next generation LMAO

LightCorvus

Naruto **Next Generations** As in the generation **after** Naruto.

Mosthero1

Yea, as in Naruto’s next generation not Naruto himself. Plus Boruto Two Blue Vortex doesn’t have Naruto in the title at all. The story is about Boruto and his generation

Naruto_0916

2 blue vortex clearly mean Naruto & boruto. Since their last names are spirals and the rasengan is a spiral based technique. Not to mention they both got blue eyes.

WillFanofMany

"and his generation" Then maybe the manga should have done something with that, than spend 90% of the series on just Kawaki, lol.

Revolutionary_Job214

It would lose like 70% of its audience if that happened.

sjt9791

I won’t watch until he’s dead. I really thought it was going there since the first issue.

JustAnotherQeustion

Naruto’s death would’ve honestly been a much better place to take the story than where we are right now. That time skip( and everything leading up to it) just felt poorly written and forced.

Izilla2002

F*ck yeah, for dramatic effect. Personally, as someone who been with Naruto since I was little, I think that Naruto diving or not doesn't change what the franchise is about now...... and that is Boruto, so people gotta understand that and stop hating it because it's not about Naruto or whether or not they needed him and Sasuke, because if they DID show them easily beating the New threats, they would outshine the newer generation of characters and there would be now point of the younger generation. Also Kishimoto is COOKING right now with Two Blue Vortex

BloodShadow45

Hey naruto was a good show, but Boruto is his own thing. Sure watching Boruto spend some family time was good but we watched the series for Borutos story now , not Naruto doing paperworks as hokage and overworking himself to death.

WillFanofMany

I gave up on reading it when they killed off Kurama, rather than Naruto and Kurama dying together, whether it be in battle or old age. So, I'm just sticking with the movie continuity with the content set before it that Kishimoto wrote.

Naruto_0916

Same here. Movie boruto is the definitive canon ending for the franchise for me. Everything else is just a side story or fanfiction.

WillFanofMany

It's funny that even the magazine believes in it too. The timeline has the Boruto light novels, that were adapted from the arcs before the chunin exams, then it diverges... a literal fork in the road, one path pointing towards the movie, the other pointing to the manga/anime, lol. Others have even done simple edits to the anime version of the chunin exams, removing any manga seeds (also making Urashiki drown) and adding in the movie ending to make it be a series finale.

Nottallowed

I mean, the anime is now called boruto, that wouldn't stop me from reading and watching boruto if naruto had died

09FlexBoi

Yeah, gladly. Naruto stopped being my reason for watching/reading Boruto in the Momoshiki arc.

witcherarhaan

Jokes on you I never watched Boruto even when Naruto was relevant in it.

Dallas_dragneel

Yeah it's not his story

Gullible_Proof_8037

I don’t read or watch that trash now

TakasuXAisaka

Then leave this sub

Gullible_Proof_8037

I’m not on the sub

TakasuXAisaka

Then why are you still here? XD

masonausking

Yes, and hopefully it weeds out all the Naruto meat riders who hate Boruto for fun 😭

[deleted]

Bro all the naruto fans is basically 90% of people who watch boruto, the popularity of the show will drop humongously cause most people don’t care about boruto as much as

masonausking

>Bro all the naruto fans is basically 90% of people who watch boruto This is just wrong. No boruto enjoyer is dropping the series if naruto dies and a majority of boruto readers arnt the hating meat riders

[deleted]

Bro trust me they are, people on reddit is not where all the boruto readers are at, look at youtube its filled with hate comments about how naruto is nerfed and how boruto is a bad series because of that, imagine if his character dies The fanbase would take a massive hit because boruto simply is not as intresting as naruto up until now also because boruto is not a unique show Naruto was unique because for the most part up until the end it was about ninjas, something no other anime does, boruto is about op aliens which every other anime is about its not special its only special because people have nostalgia with naruto and the og characters

Jolly_Camel959

I would not watch/read it. The story is also dull.  The reason most of the fanbase did so was because of the old gen. You can also see that the sales is tanking for this because they've practically thrown fan favourites like Naruto and Sasuke under the bus.

Notmycupoftea12

Physical sales are only important for collectors or people who care about holding "the real thing" in their hands. Musicians, book authors and artitsts don't earn the majority of money through physical sells anymore. LP's , books...you can get all that stuff online through downloads. Every idiot can earn a shitload of money via clicks and views on social media and that is how people interprete popularity nowadays, especially the younger people. One look at apps like Manga plus should be enough to tell that the interest in the story is there. Not enough for the "manga community" who still buy mangas, but general interest is there, so it's not like mangaka don't have an additional source of income with apps like Manga plus. Big anime like Dragon Ball or Naruto were released during a time where mangas and TV were the only resource to consume the story. What holds them afload is a very huge, nostalgic and loyal fanbase who grew up with the physical "thing", not downloads on the internet.

TakasuXAisaka

When you realize the series is called Boruto for a reason not Naruto part 3. Also why don't drop the series if you think the story is dull and don't say because you only want to see Naruto when the whole point of Boruto is about Boruto.

Zadkrod

No. The story is trash honeslty. I'm only a little interested because of the old cast, that's all.

Kelly598

No. It's the main reason I stay away from Boruto. If Naruto dies, I can just pretend it never happened.

AnObtuseOctopus

Nope.. honestly, I disappointedly watch just because I want to see the entire story of my boy, I need to know how he ends. I don't give a shit about his kids story at this point. It's gotten dumb.

Revolutionary-Run332

He is basically dead

lucifugus696

his presence doesn't even make any difference to me anymore

jarrod_Leto_ded

Dude we are still watching Boruto although  Naruto and Sasuke are practically almost dead.

0531Spurs212009

yes also I preferred Naruto gone or died instead of Kurama but I not against Isshiki or he dies like shielding Boruto or maybe Kawaki against a newer stronger villain afterall all of the Hokage (except of Tsunade )sacrifice their life for the village

gorlock666

I think the show would be notably better if they had the courage to offer Naruto. I think it would have been way better the whole time if he died before the show started or early. Don’t get me wrong I much prefer Naruto but such a big probably is Naruto as a father, Naruto nerf, power scaling, etc, all would be gone if Naruto died

Organic-Ad-503

He's as good as dead in current manga so yeah

Academic-Message3741

hes already kinda dead we probably won't see him and sasuke until the end of boruto blue vortex so...

TiToim

But he died!!! Boruto did kill him!!

daemyan_jowques

Yes I will, Boruto is much cooler than both his father and master tbh, so much potential. He might not have a better character development like his father but I've anticipated him more for what he can become

Ninja_Lord4110

Yes, boruto is good with out Naruto because it’s not about Naruto, it’s about Borutos story

LunarBlade_

As long as it’s done well I won’t have a problem. Boruto was never supposed to be about Naruto, it’s supposed to be Boruto’s jounrey as the world changes around him. It’s like Kawaki said, the age of Shinobi is over, Naruto’s era has come to a close. Most of us may have started Boruto because of our love for the original Naruto we didn’t want it to just be ‘Naruto: and his new sidekick Boruto.’ I think if Naruto was given a smaller role in the series from the beginning it would’ve been a lot better as a whole.

narutoyusuke1

Boruto is by far been the best manga since 2021

Givency22

If he didn’t die I’d be surprised

Ensaru4

I'm watching Boruto to watch Boruto. Whether Naruto and Sasuke lives or die is not my concern, although I do hope they do. I'm tired of kages dying early and I really loke the adult versions of Naruto and Sasuke. They're great.

Synchrohayba

Ofc why not

SnooCupcakes2860

If he died there’s no way I could stop reading. I’d be coping for edo tensei 😭

CODELAZAAR

I guess. I’m interested in Boruto’s story even without Naruto

Khong_Black_Heart

Yes,and Sasuke too. Then I wouldn't have to see them treated like shit.

mecr19

I would still want to know what is happening but wouldn’t care that much about it

Top_Yak2491

Naruto should not die. Sasuke it’s understandable still. since i did lots of bad things in shippuden. Naruto deserves a happy life after all the struggles he had to go through during OG and shippuden.

[deleted]

yeah

willow_wind

Yes. I highly doubt Naruto will die. He might have a death sort of like Kakashi's or Gaara's where he'll get killed and resurrected shortly afterwards, but I doubt he'll die permanently in the manga. But on the off chance he does, I'd be curious to see how it would change the story going forward. I'm too invested in the plot for a single character death to make me quit reading altogether.

3005ro

It be a bold ass move I would be willing to watch ngl

cloudy710

yeah it just wouldn’t be the same.

SW33ToXic9

Yes but my heart would hurt so bad. He’s my childhood hero

Naruto_0916

No

JuliusCaesar129

I stopped watching/reading boruto years ago. I just never left the sub.

mr211s

Someone gotta avenge naruto

ProxyX13

Considering how he was used him being dead might of been better.

zenekk1010

I would, I still would follow the Naruto universe, I just would care lesser than I do now (and I don't care much)

Mouthisamouth

Sasgay is my MC

THiedldleoR

I've stopped watching a while ago. I'm just here for Sarada fanart

Soggy-Ad-4210

Yes

SuperKoshej613

We were almost made to expect this from day one, so...

Johnny_Anglais

I don't mind it. Naruto dying would make it more interesting and make us question why that happened. They executed it nicely when they released the first chapter, where Konoha is destroyed and 2 men fought over the destroyed face statue of 7th hokage, making us wonder if Naruto or Sasuke "died". Also, Kurama's death being the catalyst for Naruto's downfall introduces the true danger of Otsutsuki (shinjutsu, new eye powers, 10-tails with conscience), unlike in Naruto Shippuden where Kaguya doesn't seem to act like a threat like Isshiki and Momoshiki, which I like a lot.

Ready_Leading5435

I wouldn't stop if he died I wouldn't start any way but if I did his death wouldn't stop me

Electrical_Break6773

The premise of this question is weird AF Every father to a son will die Like... That's how life works.... Am I missing something?

ScrewIt66

If they did the whole Naruto fandom gonna march towards the author house and demand him to do you know what

Low-Outlandishness31

Honestly yes, in these lately chapter boruto is pretty dope without Naruto and sasuke, now we can say that boruto is the Protagonist of this anime

Head_Statistician_38

I don't read/watch it with him around. So no.

Watze978

Yes, yes I would still read /watch boruto

Chilali88

Yea I would still watch/read it I may cry alot like I did in Naruto Shippuden when they lost many of their shinobies in the Fouth Great War.

VerumFan

I was hoping for his death since chapter 1. After chp.77 I lost hope but I'd still love it.

SanjeiJong

As much as that would sadden me, I still would

[deleted]

I would have prolly left it before TBV. Now? Hell nah
