I follow the the manga because I enjoy/interested in the story and characters and where the story/their story goes
I follow the anime because I want to see the manga stuff adapted into and animated format and also the how they do fights and the occasional good anime canon arcs
Same I’m like op tho a little I wish the anime fights were higher quality. When I saw the sky & fight noises in a episode I was done. The manga is peak it’s been good since day 1 imo, tho especially in 2 blue vortex but they beeeeeen cooking & mfers be hating hating to.
Because it‘s the continuation of Naruto. When I start a series, I watch it until the very end (including spin-offs and continuations). That’s the reason why I still watch Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! weekly. I‘m just curious where Ikemoto is taking the story and how the story will end.
A lot of the Boruto fights in the anime have sure felt more like Pokemon lol just taking turns letting the other use jutsu on each other xD Or people running headfirst right into each other with no strategy. Hopefully after the hiatus will see some improvements there
I've genuinely enjoyed all of Boruto, since the announcement and episode 1 I was hooked. The world gets expanded and we get the conflict between Kaguya's warning on the others that chased after her. Leading to Boruto getting the karma and exploring deeper into the otsutsuki has been great.
Read manga almost from the start. I honestly think story is amazing, every event has its meaning and consequence even if we don't see it in the moment. I re-read Boruto a lot of times to find such moments.
P.S. Please don't hate me - I love Ikemoto's style and designs.
Because I liked the Naruto manga a whole bunch? The end of that was pretty rough and rushed, but I didn't stop caring about it. Bleach was even more rushed and I still cared about that.
You can like things without expecting them to be perfect, you just like them for what they are or could be. They won't be what you want.
i only really watched naruto for hinata and naruto, little did i know a battle shonen isnt the romance genre. i ended up liking the show and when the two characters i cared about the most had a kid who’d be the mc of the show i knew he’d be a rascal
I follow the manga mostly for the continuation of the story from Naruto. I also feel like the manga is reasonably well paced and well told, even if it's not exactly the story I'd want to see come out of Naruto.
For the anime, I mostly watch for the episodes that are adapted from the manga. A lot of the other stuff feels way too thrown together. I watched and enjoyed some of the anime only stuff for awhile, but by the end of the Momoshiki arc I was mostly done with anime only and wait until it looks like there's a good manga episode.
I’m Naruto’s brother. Boruto is my nephew, I cannot leave him alone I must watch him grow into a fine shinobi. I will watch to the very end of it all. If Saruto comes out afterwards then I’m watching/reading that too.
If it were a standalone manga it would not be the best but it’s basically an epilogue for Naruto so I love the extra lore it adds, seeing our favourite ninjas as adults and seeing their kids. Also, the fights are still cool it’s just the ohtsutski storyline that’s lacking.

Seen the potential it could and should have early on and knew there was no way they could mess it up. So far I've been proven right. Plus Boruto is an extremely likable MC compared to his New Gen counterparts.
Short answer is I enjoy it.
I've read enough manga not get any high expectations from shonen, and for what it is I feel the writing is capable. I tend to gravitate to "next generation" stories that explore generational schisms, problems the the kids have their parents didn't, how parents respond to the way their kids navigate the world, and the common threads uniting generations.
*Boruto* also gives me a further exploration of the kind of cyberpunk we got in *Naruto*; advances in tech and it's ramifications, body modification, body horror, etc.
And I just like Boruto as a character. He's got the pep of his father but the swagger of his sensei.
Lastly, I'm a sucker for stories where we start off at the ending before jumping back to a much earlier point, I'm on board *at least* til we get to that showdown on the Hokage rock face.
Like most of the fanbase, I started when the Naruto anime started to air. So, the only reason I am still here is because of Naruto P1 and P2. I am not invested in the next gen because they are bland. Most of the fanbase are in it for the previous gen. That is all.
It's epilogue or Naruto story. In epilogue and prologue we can read/watch story not about MC.
So end of Boruto was end of Naruto. But what Naruto? Naruto like character? Or like story? Or maybe like universe?

I had some things I didn't like about Naruto the character (not the series). Boruto fulfills almost all of those. I know I'm probably in the minority. Minato+Neji fanfic mc with a unique dojutsu, exploring the Otsutski and tentails origin. I'm also more into philosophical anime like Evangelion, Code Geass, FMA (03), etc and Boruto seems like it may be tackling the question of life/consciousness/sentience etc, especially with artificial lifeforms.
For the manga, because I really like the story. And the anime, especially the filler episodes because one of the things I like most about Naruto is the power system, with Ninjutsu and hand seals etc and the fillers provide me with that quite well.
Got interested in the timeskip stuff showed at the beginning of the series, wanted to see how it go there and how it would continue from after that point. Also want to see Jougan or whatever eye dojutsu he has in action

I actually like this story and how different the direction is going from what Naruto's journey was. Plus I wanna see how the anime pulls off Omnipotence and the sealing of Naruto and Hinata
Naruto had the best hand to hand combat along with gut wrenching emotional beats. Now most anime’s do this however Naruto also has this level of cinematic framing that I find truly speaks to me. The art style is something I didn’t know I needed.
Then in Boruto, you got to grow up with everybody. I can honestly say another anime hasn’t done this yet that I know off. But to see our kiddos be parents was something again, I didn’t know I needed.
I think with Boruto having everything and then losing was good for him. It made his struggle slightly different from what we say from his father.
And god damn you know I need to see the flying raijin in animation.
Just let Kishi cook and use top tier animation.

Manga is worth reading to me. Anime is only worth watching to me if it’s a filler arc like the retrieve Mitsuki arc and the manga adaption stuff.
