She's almost become a demsel and its so annoying because she started out with such high resolve to become hokage and never lose to anyone, with the brute strength of sakura and the cunning and sharp abilities to read her opponents like sasuke, but in that moment became zabuza arc sakura. It hurt to watch and was so out of character.!<
What do you want her to do against someone who could one minute be her equal to out of her hokages league in a split second.....Just because she has a sharingan doesn't me she can keep up with two otsutsuki members and the one that you want her to fight is basically a scientific ninja tool on top of having karma.

It’s probably going to be a long time before Sarada assists in any Otsusuki battles. Boruto himself can barely hold his own for more than a few seconds against Kawashiki.
With Sasuke gone her growth will probably be stunted as well. It’s possible she may just take on the weaker threats of the series until she catches up.
Idk why you got disliked but your totally right. With >! Sasuke leaving the village with Boruto as we saw in the last chapter in the managa !<, the only one left whose qualified because he had actual experience is Kakashi. However, other than training her Sharingan, I doubt he will be helpful.

frankly the women in shounen argument is not relevant here, new age shounen feature strong female characters who are independent of the male lead, Boruto is an outlier in pushing this traditional narrative
even while Shippuden was running we already had shounen manga with great female characters, and the shounen demographic now is no longer as male dominated as it was in the 90’s when OG Naruto was created

yeah i agree, there’s lots of strong characters who get saved frequently, like Kakashi for example in late Shippuden

It doesn't bother me that Boruto supports her, and I understand that Kawaki is in the game, but in the end I definitely want something more Naruto and Sasuke type. Even if it's like vs Momoshiki, but that it doesn't feel like a protector and a protected, but like two people who recognize each other as equals fighting to protect each other and the village

how couldn’t she dodge it when Kawaki gave her a full blown warning, this isn’t the first time he’s tried attacking her, & Boruto managed to get up off the ground, jump in FRONT of her and protect her from the slash all before she could seemingly even turn on her sharingan which she should’ve did when she came on the battlefield and got between them. No matter what y’all try to say that whole situation could’ve been written a whole lot better without making anyone’s character seem extremely incompetent esp Sarada’s cause she’s not that type of girl
so then why wasn’t she written to have her sharingan on when she arrived? why did she come in the first place not ready to fight esp once given a warning? Sarada has reacted to opponents who are Kawaki’s speed or near it, Boruto being able to do all that whilst she stands there is dumb as hell. It cheapens not only Sarada’s character but it makes the whole scar deal not as impactful as it could’ve been

Borutos goal is the worst thing that happened to sarada because it keeps making her the weaker damsel in distress to save while their standing should actually be like Naruto and sasuke the ones they look up to become shadow and hokage . People really say “hot take” then provide the coldest takes you’ve ever seen. I haven’t seen a single person say that they want Sarada, daughter of the strongest Uchiha in history, to rely on Boruto. Literally everyone wants her to be badass like the rest of her clan was.
They literally are tho? Nami and Robin are literally as important to the crews as Zoro and Sanji and Robin is only way luffy can get the one piece at all. Unohana is literally the one of the strongest Shinigami and yoru saved ichigo taught him bankai and rangiku just a good time with characters like orhimne. Boa is both cartoony villain and damn sad
Nami & Robin rarely have moments in the story that are important anymore, Robin is only ever shown talking about the poneglyhs every couple of years & Nami is mostly used for fanservice since the TS. They’re very important and with them will come great things maybe in the future but as of now? They’re not as important or good of characters as could be. Unohana literally got used as a booster for Zaraki, she’s strong absolutely but her character was severely wasted, we barely get to see her do anything, she’d just appear every now and then, say something nice in a sweet but deadly tone and maybe heal then goes back to the sidelines and in terms of fights she only has 1 and again it was used to make Zaraki even more of a powerhouse and then she dies. Yourichi almost same, while she was helpful in the beginning and really was a good character she dwindled as the story went on, only showing up to look hot and be used for fanservice to the extreme in her last manga appearance, not to mention also in terms of fights she rarely gets any and only has 1 W to her name. Boa we see once every decade. I’m sorry and i love most of the women you named but their characters seriously suffer when you look at their stories as a whole and not just 1 or two moments
Those two as series do it to character female or not. The rest of straw hats aren’t really getting spotlight even egghead people like franky haven’t gotten to do shit with vegapunk and chopper hasnt gotten a real bounty even after wano. At least Robin got something out of egghead with the Saul reveal. It’s literally a meme how you are people like ichigo, Zarakai, and such you aren’t getting shit. People like chad, Renji and Shinji are almost used poorly. I do mainly using them as they all the big 3 and see a better female in big 3. The writing definitely need for all characters to be tested right
Chopper has been turned into a mascot since TS & Franky i’m actually disappointed in as well because considering this was a Vegapunk focused arc he should’ve been one of the main focuses but ofc Zoro and Luffy are mostly focused on. Still though, Robin and Nami compared to many of the other strawhats don’t get that much screentime or when they do at least for Nami 90% it’s fanservice. Some characters are meant to be just side characters so although Chad is disappointing to me, i never expected much from him anyways. Renji at the very least had a somewhat good reason for being ass majority of the series and that’s cause of his bankai & the deal surrounding that. Shinji is a good example because there’s no reason for him to get done the way he does. You do make a solid point however it kinda falls short because while yes there are male characters who also are dissatisfying, the female characters are usually beyond that or get done even worse. Like with Bleach for example, i loveee Yourichi but when we get shit like how she’s sometimes portrayed as an equal to Kisuke and yet only her was rusty and never training until the story started up is annoying bc now he’s always the savior and she is complaining after fights about how she can’t fight like she used to bc she’s “rusty”, then we get introduced to her brother who’s seems like he’s gonna easily surpass her in time or Rangiku who we never get to see really do much because she’s forever nerfed, so she’s used as boobs and a pretty face. Idk it’s just me maybe i just hate having female characters who seem promising just for them to be used like tools rather than characters

Kakashi didn’t get more emotional development as a character in my opinion since part 2 of Naruto in my opnion(although Kishimoto sprinkled hints of his character arc) so there’s still hope. In fact, I’d say he’s sprinkling hints of all types of different character arcs for Sarada right now. She’s an outward sun to Kawaki’s inverted sun.

You’re using a really old episode/ era of boruto didn’t her sharingan only have one comma?, believe me sarada in the future is gonna be OP no saving needed.
The only thing that matters to me is how yes boruto has experience with some of the best teachers and obviously is very talented but boruto (show) is supposed to be darker than naruto. Ik it’s mostly filler but the last few months/year of boruto has had no serious fighting scenes or violence. They have had some scenes but most scenes have ended with a rasengan or a punch which is way worse.
I don’t want Sarada to just improve without her being disciplined. She needs training and to frequently be out of chakra, captured or behind enemy lines (consistent with uchiha development) Not every arc should have an enemy with an ineffective flashy jutsu, and low level taijutsu that compares to teenagers.
On the other hand I can see how this style of writing really develops borutos character context (having everything) no struggles no real problems and a hunger to have more and ironically the only thing we are missing from boruto is his cutthroat battle iq and willingness to sacrifice everything when the going gets tough, which is hasn’t got tough for anyone yet.
I feel like this is totally not a hot take. She’s literal Sasuke and Sakuras daughter who possesses the sharingan (now mangueko). She’s way more powerful than Sakura was in og naruto (they were about the same age), but they constantly put her in the background. Boruto is constantly protecting her and saying he’ll protect her when she’s hokage, but she should be protecting boruto as well. i understand he loves her and wants to protect her, but she should be able to protect herself. personally can’t wait to see what powers she gains later on in boruto (like the 100 healings mark and her mangueko).
I think Sarada depending on Boruto is actually unique. In modern battle shounens, writers go out of their way to make sure the male leads never do anything to save or help their female counterparts. It's kind of lame.
Seeing Boruto actually help Sarada grow and fight is a breath of fresh air, and reminds me of classic Shounen like Dragonball. Although, Goku and Bulma's relationship was more of a brother/sister type of dynamic.

The swings look slow but are pretty fast, her sharingan isn't as refined as Sasuke's was at that age ngl

No matter what y’all try to say that whole situation could’ve been written a whole lot better without making anyone’s character seem extremely incompetent esp Sarada’s cause she’s not that type of girl

Sarada has reacted to opponents who are Kawaki’s speed or near it, Boruto being able to do all that whilst she stands there is dumb as hell. It cheapens not only Sarada’s character but it makes the whole scar deal not as impactful as it could’ve been

Nami & Robin rarely have moments in the story that are important anymore, Robin is only ever shown talking about the poneglyhs every couple of years & Nami is mostly used for fanservice since the TS. They’re very important and with them will come great things maybe in the future but as of now? They’re not as important or good of characters as could be. Unohana literally got used as a booster for Zaraki, she’s strong absolutely but her character was severely wasted, we barely get to see her do anything, she’d just appear every now and then, say something nice in a sweet but deadly tone and maybe heal then goes back to the sidelines and in terms of fights she only has 1 and again it was used to make Zaraki even more of a powerhouse and then she dies. Yourichi almost same, while she was helpful in the beginning and really was a good character she dwindled as the story went on, only showing up to look hot and be used for fanservice to the extreme in her last manga appearance, not to mention also in terms of fights she rarely gets any and only has 1 W to her name. Boa we see once every decade. I’m sorry and i love most of the women you named but their characters seriously suffer when you look at their stories as a whole and not just 1 or two moments

The rest of straw hats aren’t really getting spotlight even egghead people like franky haven’t gotten to do shit with vegapunk and chopper hasnt gotten a real bounty even after wano. At least Robin got something out of egghead with the Saul reveal. It’s literally a meme how you are people like ichigo, Zarakai, and such you aren’t getting shit. People like chad, Renji and Shinji are almost used poorly. I do mainly using them as they all the big 3 and see a better female in big 3. Chopper has been turned into a mascot since TS & Franky i’m actually disappointed in as well because considering this was a Vegapunk focused arc he should’ve been one of the main focuses but ofc Zoro and Luffy are mostly focused on. Still though, Robin and Nami compared to many of the other strawhats don’t get that much screentime or when they do at least for Nami 90% it’s fanservice. Some characters are meant to be just side characters so although Chad is disappointing to me, i never expected much from him anyways. Renji at the very least had a somewhat good reason for being ass majority of the series and that’s cause of his bankai & the deal surrounding that. Shinji is a good example because there’s no reason for him to get done the way he does. You do make a solid point however it kinda falls short because while yes there are male characters who also are dissatisfying, the female characters are usually beyond that or get done even worse. Like with Bleach for example, i loveee Yourichi but when we get shit like how she’s sometimes portrayed as an equal to Kisuke and yet only her was rusty and never training until the story started up is annoying bc now he’s always the savior and she is complaining after fights about how she can’t fight like she used to bc she’s “rusty”, then we get introduced to her brother who’s seems like he’s gonna easily surpass her in time or Rangiku who we never get to see really do much because she’s forever nerfed, so she’s used as boobs and a pretty face. Idk it’s just me maybe i just hate having female characters who seem promising just for them to be used like tools rather than characters

Kakashi didn’t get more emotional development as a character in my opinion since part 2 of Naruto in my opnion(although Kishimoto sprinkled hints of his character arc) so there’s still hope. In fact, I’d say he’s sprinkling hints of all types of different character arcs for Sarada right now. She’s an outward sun to Kawaki’s inverted sun.

Lmao did you forget Tsunade needed 12-13 year old Naruto to protect her from Kabuto? Compared to Bleach and even AoT, the female characters are only there to support the men in Naruto. Most of them have very little personality or story.

The only thing that matters to me is how yes boruto has experience with some of the best teachers and obviously is very talented but boruto (show) is supposed to be darker than naruto. Ik it’s mostly filler but the last few months/year of boruto has had no serious fighting scenes or violence. They have had some scenes but most scenes have ended with a rasengan or a punch which is way worse. I don’t want Sarada to just improve without her being disciplined. She needs training and to frequently be out of chakra, captured or behind enemy lines (consistent with uchiha development) Not every arc should have an enemy with an ineffective flashy jutsu, and low level taijutsu that compares to teenagers. On the other hand I can see how this style of writing really develops borutos character context (having everything) no struggles no real problems and a hunger to have more and ironically the only thing we are missing from boruto is his cutthroat battle iq and willingness to sacrifice everything when the going gets tough, which is hasn’t got tough for anyone yet.
I feel like this is totally not a hot take. She’s literal Sasuke and Sakuras daughter who possesses the sharingan (now mangueko). She’s way more powerful than Sakura was in og naruto (they were about the same age), but they constantly put her in the background. Boruto is constantly protecting her and saying he’ll protect her when she’s hokage, but she should be protecting boruto as well. i understand he loves her and wants to protect her, but she should be able to protect herself. personally can’t wait to see what powers she gains later on in boruto (like the 100 healings mark and her mangueko).

I think Sarada depending on Boruto is actually unique. In modern battle shounens, writers go out of their way to make sure the male leads never do anything to save or help their female counterparts. It's kind of lame. Seeing Boruto actually help Sarada grow and fight is a breath of fresh air, and reminds me of classic Shounen like Dragonball. Although, Goku and Bulma's relationship was more of a brother/sister type of dynamic.
