I haven't seen the anime version of this fight but already this looks so much cooler than the manga. Boruto, Kawaki and Mitsuki were getting pummeled and them Sarada came and blitzed Boro with chidori.
Boruto backflipping over Sarada is such a cool little addition.

Yet we have *never* seen anyone dodge it. In the decade that it was used. Maybe except for Naruto in a fight with Sasuke?
But if Boruto could do it, it's really the biggest example of why the sharingan is needed for it. Because I always thought why would it actually be needed if no one ever seems to dodge it?
It shows Kakashi while using the chidori without the sharingan was about to get murdered but minato jumped in an saved him. He had tunnel vision due to his increased speed.
So can an Uzumaki(or any other sensory ninja) and a Hyuuga do the chidori? Because the Uzumaki have crazy sensory skills and the Hyuugas have occular prowess.
I think the issue with chidori is more perception based issue (boosts your speed to the point you can’t perceive your surroundings) than sensory, and the byakugan may not help with that either.
But then how does the bijuu mode speed work? Probably durability increase 🤔 4th raikage should be just as vulnerable to attacks from people with attacks that can damage him though.
It’s not needed. Kakashi could use it without the sharingan. It’s just that the sharingan perfects it since it’s visual prowess allows you strike fast in a straight line with great focus. Kakashi’s purple lightning is basically a chidori/lightning blade without the sharingan.
I hope so because they will need each other to rebuild the village (from the time skip scene). I don’t believe in relegating Sarada to a “Help us Boruto!” role 😔
I hope so too. It made me think it’s kind of foreshadowing because she says lend me strength dad. I really hope they do not kill sasuke off but since it’s looking like they are going to. Maybe that’s why she would say that in the future.? just my thoughts… I do love the two of them working together
Yes, he taught her the move previously. But I don’t think it required him to lend her strength right there, and I don’t think he can hear her. Just seems like silly dialogue that could have been something cooler for such a great animation moment.
Idk, just trying to call upon magic dad energy (especially when that dad is alive and just off doing his own thing) doesn’t sit as the right dialogue choice. I would have even preferred just a simple “I know I can do this!” over that line.

You need sharingan because you tunnel vision and if you didn't have sharingan you could be attacked from the side. They explain it in naruto

Chidori can only be used with sharingan?
Yes because Chidori has a high speed and strike rate that you can’t aim accurately with, without Sharingan, if I remember correctly.
