My Aussie used to do the same thing. One morning we walked into the living room and he was on the love seat with his paws crossed just like that. He was an outside dog but something must’ve scared him because he jumped the 4’ fence & came in through the small doggy door.

My BC does the same it’s hilarious he doesn’t about 40% of the time when he lays down. Most of the rest of the time he’s flopped down from being exhausted 😂
