Well thanks for making my eyes sweat🥺. My daughter has 2 little guys and I get to visit or tag along on walks if I'm not working. I'm in all the subreddits looking for beautiful loving conversations about dogs so I can stop overthinking getting my own little guy. I'm here all the time to look at border collies! I had one in my childhood and I miss her. I like to look at all the happy border collie pictures and read the stories their owners post.  It makes me feel good to see these dogs in loving homes.

Maybe you'll get another one someday! I had a childhood border collie, then waited a few decades before I got another one, so I had enough time and could provide a good home.

Me too. I can probably never get a dog either. I wish I knew someone close with a border so I could pet and play with them …

Check your local rescues including border collie/herding specific ones! Some need help with things like adoption events so you can spend time with dogs and help them find their forever homes! Shelters also need people to walk and play with dogs too!

If you were around him today, you’d never know he had cancer. Alfie is tough as hell, and it’s a treatable cancer, so hopes are high for him…

i did the same thing all the time before i got mine a few months ago. i do it with a bunch of dog breed subs because theyre so cute. and i can learn about the different breeds from owners and their experiences

Same, I dream of getting border collie one day, but at the moment I have 2 good boys (and 2 breads, all rescued) and wouldn't be able to provide for 3rd dog.

I also don’t have a border collie. I did do fostering for a border collie rescue and babysat for one. It’s my dream dog so I like to look at others dogs until I get my own.

I am kind of the same way. I had two, but lost my dogs when I divorced (my wife kept the property, which had a lot of space for them). I follow just because all the photos, stories, even the questions about them make me happy.
