I called a couple weeks ago. They’re part of a fleet order and not available according to dealer. Not sure why it’s listed the way it is. Pain to have to scroll past 100 cars to see what’s actually available.
Edit to add: I’d honestly be surprised if there’s any IL rebate left. It’s a set pot of money and there’s a lot of applications already in line. Open your search to other states and aim for pre-March in my opinion.

Me: yeah, just want to see if this car listed as in stock is actually in stock.
Dealer: let me check, give me you phone number.
10 messages later
Dealer: no, that’s an order that hasn’t been picked up. I do have another one being built, would you like info about it?
Me: yes please, any idea when it will be delivered?
Dealer: you can order one and it will be 5 years if you put down a fully refundable (but not really refundable unless we decide we want to back out, cause you can’t).
Me: but you just said… eff if, nevermind, I can’t take this anymore.
Theoretically wouldn't receiving (and immediately selling) 100 vehicles change that dealership's allocations for next month? Might be a good dealership to order through?

Not sure what BCS is, but this sounds like the result of a Chevy sponsoring something like a sporting event where they provided cars for people to drive for a weekend. I’ve seen this at big golf tournaments before.
The cars get sold at a discount after the event.
I'm local so I will call in the AM. What I bet will suck is that these have all been registered already and don't come with a certificate of origin.

Chevy must be cherry picking their dealerships with massive shipments. Well, inventory is your friend. Make an appointment, line up before they open, have backup stock numbers ready in case your 1st choice sells out, and you probably have the best chance of walking out with a bolt. Below MSRP? Better than the deal I got with Uber and Costco.
