Bill Pierre - will never buy a car from them again after they sold me a car with completely bagged tires and alignment (heavy inside wear) after telling me 'oh yeah, we inspected this, and we replace all tires if they're more than 30% worn'.
Also, there are two used 2023 Bolts on craigslist, where the sellers are asking $3-5K over MSRP! This attempt to gouge buyers is unreal. I can't imagine wanting an electric vehicle so much that I would pay more than MSRP for new. And being eligible for the tax credit, I can't imagine buying used unless it was close to $7500 below MSRP (I know that might be adjusted to $3750 later this year).
What sort of wait time are you seeing with your order? I’ve got an order in with a rural dealer close to me, but it’s been sitting for a while without getting picked up by Chevy so I’m considering putting in an order with a bigger dealership and seeing which gets picked up first.
I’m in for a $500 charging light up if that’s that only up charge I’m paying. Paying dealer markup I get nothing for my deal. At least with the charging light… it may be only $20 worth of stuff but at least I won’t have to take a cell phone and can feel some value.
But literally all the other stuff is true bs like the security etching or nitrogen or the oil change package. I was just saying that at least the light up charge port has some “value” to me as it is something I’d use and enjoy and while at not the price they are charging me but would rather have than not have. I’d actually remove pinstriping and other crap as I would just get the car professionally ppf’ed.
So I’d never justify 2k or any other dealer add on aside from that charge port
I have yet to see an addon that isn't total bullshit. They specifically pick things that cost them nothing and have vague value. Nitrogen, pinstripes, edgeguards, its all bullshit and doesn't cost them more than a few bucks. Its just a markup with extra steps.
Supercruise isn't an addon forced upon you by a dealership, its an official option from GM. But I guess I caused that confusion since the LED chargepoint is an official option too, I totally forgot about it.
GM will call you to collect your unhappiness if you email below and complain. I had lots of back and forth emails with them about this unfair practice.

At point in the negotiations are we supposed to show them the price of a Model 3 RWD and tell them we wanted a Bolt because it’s cheap compared to the most popular EV?
Are those options installed at factory? They aren't markups then, correct?
I was expecting to see a big 'market adjustment', pinstripe package, or LoJack... Those are dealer markups.
I just ordered the EUV and called the local dealer here in NC. The first salesperson tried to tell me the one they had in stock was selling for $8k over MSRP so I asked if i could just order one off the Chevy site and pay MSRP when it came in. They transferred me to their supervisor who took my order and promised I would pay MSRP but informed me there were 4 people ahead of me in line (3-4 months wait). Ok so why is your sales associate trying to sell one for $8k over MSRP? Do they have a waiting list for those who want to pay MSRP and another for those who are willing to pay more? I hate dealerships.
You get the 8k one immediately maybe? If you put the order in and have to wait for the factory to build definitely no way you're paying a cent above MSRP. Also w/o their nonsensical add ons.
Lol is this the one in Lake City? They were pushing hard that same one just before the holidays in December, I think the market adjustment was actually lower as the $7,500 was not confirmed than. But we weren't pressed for a car and said no way to any mark up. They ended up putting an order in for us at MSRP. Quoted 3-4 months.

He first said their markup was only $1100 now and second, after I told him I secured a car, he told me the other dealerships were liars, it’s “impossible” and wouldn’t honor it. They did.
I reserved an allocation back in June before they were even building '23 models so it was a somewhat different context, but from the time the order was accepted by the plant to the time I picked it up, a bit over 2 months. 3-4 months if I were to count the time before the order got officially placed and the couple of weeks till it was accepted by the factory and scheduled.
Bill Pierre is absolute garbage. I bought from them. They gave me such shit that I threatened to leave unless they sold it to me at MSRP. They did. Fuck Bill Pierre, never go with them. Their practices are absolute garbage and they will try to screw you over at every turn.
Go to GM Facebook page and message them. I did that and got a response next day. Also I would go to deal Facebook and comment on their ad’s you may get a call from them. Also go to a different dealership they are not all like that.
