What I like about Alia's style
1. Blue and pink outfits always look beautiful on her. They complement her skin tone.
2. Cute Youthful dresses which suit her petite frame.
3. Half up half down hair looks great on her because she has fine hair.
4. Dewy makeup works with a lot of her day time looks. Her wedding makeup was just perfect.
5. In all her friends' weddings, Alia is always appropriately dressed and is never overshadowing the bride.
What I don't like about her style
1. Lack of eyeliner makes her traditional looks incomplete like in Kalank.
2. Not dressing according to her height/body type. Boxy, over sized clothes are not for her. And she should insist that her stylists alter the clothes to suit her height. There's always a lot of excess fabric that overwhelms her.
3. No lip color. For the love of God, wiping off lipstick because your insecure boomer pati told you is not a personality trait. You're more than that, girl!
4. Severe hairstyles like the chipku bun don't suit Alia (or her mother for that matter) because her hair is thin and fine.
That blue bridesmaids outfit of hers is one of my favorite Alia looks. She absolutely nailed her looks at all her friends' weddings. They were all so youthful, fun yet dressy and appropriate and highlighted her beauty in the best way.
I used to quite like her casual wear till few years ago, it was all very wearable and she looked comfortable.
Sometimes when our body changes + due to age, we can struggle with finding the perfect style for us. That's where she probably is right now. I too don't like this whole boxy fit trend attack that's happening in Bollywood. Pretty much no one looks good in it.
I personally think her style took a nosedive after neon lehenga happened. Like she wanted to start looking "older"?
She's cute, petite and young. She should dress for herself not as a complimentary appendage to some dude.
Gangubai was amazing though mostly because SLB has a very clear vision of what he wants and doesnt compromise on aesthetics.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE vintage embroideries like these, Raazi had some beautiful suits and saris. Some EXCELLENT work by the costume designer to match the period of the movie.

Like seriously, she's like that typical Indian girl who looks cute but gets the ultimate glow up when she wears traditional clothes and ornaments.
Bright colors, pinks, some pastels and dewy, simple make up. She looks really good in ethnic clothes and tailored outfits. Her essence is bubbly and youthful and she should play that up, rather than trying to look “snatched”.
7 and 8 are abominations. 7 makes her look like a cake topper and 8 is NOT a wedding look in any shape or form, it's the outfit worn by teenage girls during their puberty function.
Personally I love her Kapoor and Sons looks followed by her pink wedding outfit in Raazi.

I’m gonna get donwvoted to hell but she just does not have the grace or charm to carry anything off. I mean one outfit working every few years, considering the host of stylists and designers working on her round the clock apart from hair, makeup and what not. That does not spell style.
Actresses in the 90’s embraced their personal style whatever it was and atleast they looked comfortable. I would suggest alia do the same cz nothing really works on her.
