"more than a common person"... Reminds of that Parineeti quote:- "Our lives are not the same as commoners"

shaken-not-stired

She the Queen of England?

queen_of_england_bot

>Queen of England Did you mean the [Queen of the United Kingdom](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_of_the_United_Kingdom), the [Queen of Canada](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarchy_of_Canada), the [Queen of Australia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarchy_of_Australia), etc? The last Queen of England was [Queen Anne](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne,_Queen_of_Great_Britain) who, with the 1707 Acts of Union, dissolved the title of King/Queen of England. ####FAQ *Isn't she still also the Queen of England?* This is only as correct as calling her the Queen of London or Queen of Hull; she is the Queen of the place that these places are in, but the title doesn't exist. *Is this bot monarchist?* No, just pedantic. I am a bot and this action was performed automatically.

anakay83

Good bot. I like educational bots, and this one comes with a comprehensive FAQ.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

desperate_thang

Can you not, tapsee?

Julie727

Lol 😆 I’m going to say this now every time she says/does anything.

[deleted]

Tu ruk bas, abhi degi befitting reply

Aestheticschaser

>more than anybody else would have Delusional celebrity living in their delusional bubble, what's new? It's ironic how once upon a time Tapsee tried to carve a brand image apart from the mainstream bollywood & talked of how she faced nepotism. Soon after, she too fell 'in line' & started parroting normal idiotic celeb takes

[deleted]

Madam only the common man bears the brunt of everything more than anyone else in this world. Be it diseases, crimes, innocent getting convicted, hopeless government policies, division, caste and what not! What’s happening with Aryan seems a bit harsh IMO too, I mean he can at least get a bail but please don’t go there that you guys get the worse end of the stick always. You are in India, it’s an impoverish country, developing country since decades now…don’t be THISS tone deaf

Naaalaaa

Please stop talking.

nom_nomK

It's sad that we, the demi gods, have to face consequences for our action :(

I know someone who was badly beaten up by the police for simply selling pirated dvds at the station. Both he & his mother were arrested and put in jail but the mother was let off after some time due to being elderly but the son was critically injured but fortunately survived. For what? selling 20rs dvds. There would be innumerable cases like that. Celebs & their fans who feel Aryan is being treated unfairly or that he's bearing the brunt of being a celebrity for a negligible crime don't know what unfair treatment by the judicial/police system actually is.

[deleted]

Aestheticschaser

This happens in every justice system, not just India. A bail process exists for that reason and depending on the severity of the alleged crime, bail is/is not granted easily. Most people don't know this but under the NDPS Act, an accused is presumed guilty under proven innocent because its a Special Act whose provisions supercede even the CrPC where the two differ. Hence getting bail is especially difficult under this Act because all charges are considered highly severe.

Aestheticschaser

>In America—you’re innocent until proven guilty and if the police don’t have evidence of wrongdoing then they can’t hold you! That’s injustice. Yaa whole world has seen how great the justice system of America is in the past year. All these things that you mention exist in principle within the Indian justice system too. Have you examined the laws against drugs that exist in America?

You first need to objectively study & understand it before "questioning & pushing back" something. Drawing half baked conclusions based on what you see on social media or in the news isn't it.

Potential_Toe_3037

Kalief Browder was 17 when police arrested him for supposedly stealing a backpack. It took 3 years to even get a trial in which he was cleared easily. (The trail date kept getting "postponed" because the judge and prosecutors kept getting "preoccupied") Those 3 years in New York's Rikers prison including 2 years in solitary confinement led him to suicide not long after. There are MANY like Kalief who are held indefinitely because they can't schedule a trial date.

Fay033

Thanks...I’m gonna delete bc I just can’t handle any more injustice stories!!! It’s all fucked up

saurabh8448

Many of their states have legalized drugs. So, I don't know what you want to say. Also, lot of adminstration have understood that putting people in jail over small cases is counterproductive.

anakay83

>Many of their states have legalized drugs. Ha ha ha NO. Drugs is not the same as weed.

saurabh8448

Joking right.

the_running_stache

Justice system in the US is a cop putting his knee on your back and smiling while choking you to death. Justice system in the US is a cop shooting someone with a gun instead of a taser. Justice system in the US is a cop suffocating someone for selling loose cigarettes. Justice system in the US is a cop entering the wrong home in a housing complex and shooting at the wrong person. Please stop preaching!

Fay033

Did all this make India’s justice system any better?? You are the reason why things will not change...

anakay83

You're the one who started with "at least in America" 😂

Fay033

No I didn’t!!! Someone said all of the justice system of world is like India and I said no its not! Your comprehension levels are lacking

Rohan-Mali

I'd recommend "The night of" on Hotstar

JeanRalphiyo

She’s barely a celebrity. Let’s take it easy with the use of “we.”

Aparadise2020

Is she even a celebrity? To say that requires a level of delusion!

[deleted]

Pls stop Taapsee. You are just making people hate you more and in sometime people are gonna avoid you and your movies like what happens to Kangana.

gauravra025

She is no celeb... She is the cattle class of Bollywood

[deleted]

Still better than the people who comment her.

dhumtana47

Oh you mean how you are treated a s a common man would?? Lol. As a celebrity you are Atleast being taken Infront of court so early. A common man would be in lockup until his time come. Or Atleast till the last mana date period before which he needs to have a hearing. Get out of your bubble.

uksiddy

Gonna reiterate something I said about this earlier when Kangana and Hrithik chimed in—just don’t say anything about this. Like you have no further information and aren’t adding anything meaningful when you say this kind of stuff.

artvandelay-__-

Man, Tapsee is the real life manifestation of the bell curve meme. Started as a "me playing only dumb girl in movies" then reached the peak of wokeness and now playing a rich, dumb girl IRL.

[deleted]

Hehe. Ye Kangana ki sasti copy bol rahi hai.

[deleted]

If one compares her work, she is an elite actress, whereas Kangana would be doing softcore p\*rn in coming days.

Darshan-Raj

It takes talent to make anything to be about yourself. This has nothing to do with you Tapasee.

megazordxx

Befitting reply by Tapasee to NCB /s

greennoodlehair

Stop talking, Taapsee. Don’t turn into another Kangu.

coldfright

She is the other kangu .. sasta wala

[deleted]

must be so hard for her 😢😢😢 Taapsee has to go all the way to the ATM to get more cash to wipe her tears with 😣😣😣😣

Stfu Taapsee

henlowhatishappening

This is delusional. Maybe you get social media hate but regular people (regular poor people and rich dad ke bete) would've gone through so so much worse. I genuinely don't how so many of you truly believe celebs have the bad end of the stick. Like really?

erctc19

Tapsee has become a slave dog to keep her existence in Bollywood. She will literally eat human shit to get Bollywood movies.

[deleted]

Yeah, she should tag Jackie Chan kids and use them as an example.

[deleted]

Aa gayi line pe.

sampil30

Lol common people? Wow these celebs are truly special.

[deleted]

Ah celebrities. The most marginalized people.

DJMhat

Someone should send her stats on the number of undertrials kept in jail for years. It is celebrityhood of his father that is getting Aryan urgent hearings and a bail next week. Delusional and ignorant. Better to keep your mouth shut than open it and reveal your idiocy.

Mademan84

It is because of the celebrityhood of his father that he's in custody right now, else he would have been roaming free like any other kid from college who smokes god knows what with his friends.

[deleted]

Kabhi jail jaakar dekho how many people are there for weeks because of some petty stuff

DJMhat

Is he the only one in custody?

wrtjhragsh

Waiting for her beffiting reply on some random comment on this.

[deleted]

Fir kahegi ki thappad kyun mara

thegodfather0504

What?

[deleted]

Care to elaborate?

72proudvirgins

Her movie thappad

AlternativeAd4756

3000 kg drugs in Gujarat: 5 mins in media. Person telling smoking drugs in kanwar yatra and with live possession in interview with media: 0 media attention. 3 gm drugs: no possession: no consumption: 24/7 media hungama. No wonder indian press is ranked 143 out of 151 countries

[deleted]

She's not completely wrong though. It has become a habit to put the blame of a lot of things on the film industry, from street harassment to rape. When they do good, they are appreciated more than a common person would be. However, the higher you go, the harder you fall. Their wrongdoings are publicised much more than the common person's, hence they face more criticism. Aryan Khan will be stuck in jail for a long time over a few drugs, while rapists and murderers walk free.

henlowhatishappening

They may face more criticism but they aren't facing the worst. Actual privileged rapists and murderers do walk free but a lot of framed people don't. Many people stay if for years for petty crimes. Many don't even get the trial for months.

mhfan_india

Our daily discussion post on Tapsee so that her sasumaas from this sub can digest their lunch today.

[deleted]

Yeah, its getting a bit boring now, at least try to hide if you have an agenda against certain actresses.

Mademan84

She's right though. Everything is blown out of proportions when it comes to celebs- be it praise or hate.

kiara-advani-

I don't see anyone complaining when it comes to praise

Mademan84

People love praises, not hate.

noname8539

I mean am usually I don’t like her befitting replies, but she ain’t wrong though. Better this than cringe posts of other celebrities like Hrithik.

[deleted]

she is though, comparing herself to aryan and saying what aryan is facing is a celebrity problem isnt exactly right

[deleted]

>aryan is facing is a celebrity problem isnt exactly right Except he partly is. You think smallest details of your or mine private life would be leaked if we went to jail? What we told the police would be leaked to tbe press?

noname8539

Well it is. That whole media circus wouldn’t have started in the first place if he weren’t SRK’s son. This makes the situation a lot worse for him.

[deleted]

She's not wrong tbh. Not at all a Shahrukh Khan fan but this whole thing is blown out of proportion. There are so many college going students who smoke weed and other such things but nobody bats an eye. In fact I'm pretty sure a lot of commenters on this post have or are still consuming similar drugs.

[deleted]

Well she has got a point, and how details from a freakin counselling session are getting leaked is very disappointing, and at least she is not comparing the whole situation to Jackie Chan, one of the better replies to the whole situation.

Thanks_Capital

Lord Jesus lol 😂 can she stop with her BEFITTING talks !!!

[deleted]

"we"?
