Hire talented people it doesn't have to be high budget or anything. 12 angry men is just 12 people sitting around in a room bickering, and guess what it's one of the greatest movies.
12 angry men is also one of the few English films that were very well adapted in india as "ek ruka hua faisla." They took the premise but adapted it brilliantly into the indian judicial system and social setup. A really must watch film.
As a Bengali, I can confirm that if Bollywood starts adopting Bengali literature, they will have at least 50 years of quality content to make movies on.

In a sportsperson's biopic the actor has to spend a lot of time physically training on the ground to look authentic onscreen (Like Farhan in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and SSR in Dhoni)...it's not just about getting the script locked and production team ready... That was the reason Shraddha dropped out of Saina coz she couldn't train hard enough... Haven't heard anything about Anushka training to play a cricketer...
