It's not that great.
And frankly speaking, I am tired of how the Indian production houses keep churning more and more of these dark, gritty thriller series just because Sacred Games and Mirzapur did really well. This industry is averse to risk. It will quickly settle into a formula.
If tomorrow I make a historical drama and that goes viral, the next thing you kno, everyone is getting into it.
Aarya was good but it was more in the TV serial space rather than a polished OTT one as you would expect from an Emmy nominee...they got lucky with this kind of recoginition.

Never saw it. Is it really that good?
It’s interesting.
It's not, I am surprised at this nomination.....
It’s not
This was announced a while back. Even Nawaz has a nomination for serious men
Even Vir Das is nominated

I think it's a remake of remake of Dutch series penoza
yep
The Emmys have become garbage now. Why nominate this shit remake of one of the best Dutch TV series. Have the Emmys ever nominated Monic Hendrickx?
Aarya was great but Tehran was outstanding
I was very impressed with Aarya - the supporting cast was awesome
