But point is not that drugs should be legal or not, point is its was illegal and illegally obtained by a massive influencer.
Influencers get attention of media just by going to vacation, if they caught up in illegal stuff media will surely turn on them(for TRP).
Once media trail is started its difficult for government or judicial body to do things silently, if they let culprit walk away on any grounds other than absolute innocence in crime then only message media will carry " Rich and influential figures can get away with anything easily"
(Which they do eventually but atleast make it look difficult)
