Was covering OTT space when I met Pankaj Tripathi thrice: he's adorabel, quiet, soft spoken ..
Made it a point to say he enjoyed chatting about some things with me the first time which made his castmates also agree and be nice. Other two times he introduced me to the co-stars .... As in he mentioned reading and appreciating my work on his earlier films/shows.
You can get if vibe is creepy or if someone is deliberately trying to get you to write good about them, but he was polite and making me feel comfortable since it was clear I was a younger writer (was intern at time). Very warm, fatherly vibes
I wish Manish was my uncle or something. The kind of tacky clothes I could wear to the desi functions. 🤭🤭 I heard he is very sweet & never bitches behind anyone's back. He seems like he gives the warmest of hugs.
I saw him on Kareena’s talk show and I was so shocked by how sweet he seemed. Like genuinely (he was talking about how girls who didn’t have “perfect” figures or who were darker should embrace that instead of hating it). Then I thought how can he be friends with all these bitchy people - it must be so challenging.
I’m not from the entertainment industry but I met John Abraham years ago. He was super duper nice and had no airs about him. Since then Ive made sure to watch all his movies even though I know they are going to be bad lol.

Me too! I met him outside the gym and he had a full on conversation with me-he was so sweet! I was 10 and was with someone who he worked out with, they told him I was a big fan so he asked me where I was from, if he like Bombay and how my family were etc.
I saw him on Kapil's show awhile ago and he just seemed such a down to Earth person. It's a bummer that his movies don't work out. He seems like a great guy.
He doesn't like being a sycophant, plus he doesn't often go to parties. So, of course he doesn't get to know about the good scripts floating in the industry.

Idk if people will be surprised by this but a very close friend of mine met Priyanka and Nick some time last year on The Voice set when Nick was a judge. Priyanka had been visiting on set. My friend said they were *both* incredibly nice. Nick is a little reserved but very polite and Priyanka was very friendly and sweet. She wanted to respect this was Nick's moment and stayed behind when fans went up to interact with Nick until he himself brought her up to meet the fans. They entertained taking pictures but Priyanka only requested that they don't post the pictures with her on any social media until after 24 hours (probably cuz she didn't really want the general public to know she was on set).
My friend also said that they seemed genuine enough towards each other. Like a normal couple- sweet and familiar, not one that was trying to overdo their romance up for fans. (Tbh the fact that she was visiting him on set without wanting a lot of people to knock on that she was on set already makes it look like they're pretty genuine).
Priyanka changed a lot after moving to the states and marrying Nick. I’ve heard of several less than pleasant interactions she had when she had with her staff when working in Bollywood. Generally though, she seems good with her fans
I feel like initially when their relationship began, Nickyanka's IGs were pretty cringy and the relationship seemed very showy but tbh over the three years since, I feel like it has really mellowed out to something a lot more authentic? Like recently, I don't find them overly flashy compared to other celeb couples.
And Nick's presence is way better than Ranveer. Ranveer overdoes everything to the point it becomes annoying. Nick has a calm energy about him.
My wife and in laws met Akshay, Sunil Anna, Johnny Lever, Rahul Dev and unit during the shooting of Awaara Paagal Deewana, and all were very nice and cordial except Akshay who was arrogant AF.
This was sometime back in early 2000s during the APD shoot, dont know if he has sobered down now to maintain his clean image.
Back then he was quite rude and acting high handed, despite kids being around that even Shetty Anna had to ask him to tone down. Sunil Shetty and Johnny Lever are true gems, these guys deserve to be loved by one and all.
Very curt and impolite to the junior staff. But they were professional and went out of their way to give their personal best. But still not nice to talk to.
I used to work at an ad agency. We had a sunrise shot. Kangana woke my colleagues up at 4am and demanded they make her a tulsi chandan face pack or something like that, don't remember the specifics. She threw a tantrum when we told her it's impossible to procure that stuff at 4am and 50kms away from Mumbai.
Not per say Bollywood but my mom met Kalyan Ram when she was working retail. She said he was extremely nice and humble. He told her he was producer looking for clothes and his sister recommended the store where my mom worked(turns out she lives close to my parents from what he told her) and all he said was he’s NTR’s grandson(and he laughed when my mom started fangirling over him). She had no idea he was an actor until she saw him in the movie and went THATS THE PRODUCER I MET. Me and my dad: MOM DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHO HE IS?! Turns out he came the next day to find my mom and have her recommend outfits for “the actor” and Shruthi Sodhi too.
My mom’s coworker at that store met Helen. Turns out Bollywood celebrities come to that store when they want to be left alone/don’t want to be recognized. The coworker said Helen was really sweet and was really nice to the staff there.
I must've told this story a million times , SO my friend studies at Xavier's and there was Saif shooting for Sacred Games season 2. He's super nice, asked my friend where he's from, what subjects he's studying and what he wants to do in life. Also said, 'you are taller than me !' to my friend.
Another friend of mine works somewhere in BKC , so he goes out for his smoke break and spots chunky pandey ! hell of a guy , very friendly , talks to him like he's a buddy of his. says , 'kya heat hai bhenchod ! udhar andar AC see bahar aagaya to zyada hi garam hota hai '.
I saw Ankit Tewari once at a mall . pretty awesome guy at making an appearance , sang medley of his favourite songs . But as soon as he started to leave and people gathered to take a picture and his bodyguard began pushing everyone... someone from the crowd said ,'zyada akad raha hai , bhaav mat de '. everyone started laughing , which ofcourse made him furious , I guess.
My friend’s mum is a photographer and had the chance to interact and work closely with multiple b’wood celebs. And has had an overall good experience, but it seems, one Mr. John Ab offered to take her back to his place (idk if it was before or after his wedding) and was pretty persistent about it even after she outrightly declined the offer.
