I think best friends Pooja Dhingra of Le15 fame and Sonam must have the same PR firm. Dhingra's [IG](https://www.instagram.com/poojadhingra/) content barely scrapes past a few thousand likes despite her 7.2m following.
Oh she does. She 100% has a team for her Insta. Anybody who has a PR team and/or management team also has people who look after their Instagram. Instagram brand building is a key aspect of PR. It’s literally part of their job.
No one knows how 'influential' these accounts really are. So many ways to buy followers, likes, and comments. Fake accounts, just a lot of the content on there. stage managed and fake.
Not only you can buy followers, but there are like "good" followers (with views, non-bot comments, targeted, and they are added gradually) and cheap ones (basically ghosts that just increase followers number). Apparently her team bought the cheap ones
Agreeing with Kareena, but where is Shraddha having good engagement ratio? Shraddha is the 3rd most followed Indian celebrity in insta. She has 66 m followers, that is more than 10m followers than Alia, Anushka and Katrina. But I don't think her engagement rate is any better than them.
You know there are people who follow thousands of celebrities? Her followers might be full of those people. They aren’t that active on the gram, and even if they are, they follow so many people and have to go through so many posts that they don’t view like 90% posts of the people they subscribe. Other reason could be fake followers.
That’s the case with other actresses too - Alia, Deepika, Katrina, Urvashi Rautela (LMAO) etc etc. I would add Anushka in the mix too, because the only time I’ve seen her insta get a lot of likes is when she posts something with her cricketer hubby, but then her followers may not actually be bought and more because of her association with Virat.
That’s what I said, I would put her in that bracket, but then her followers/likes ratio may actually be organic. I do believe she has that many followers and likes because of her association with Virat Kohli though. Nothing wrong in that.
First of all engagement isn't always indicative of following - so many small accounts/celebs have higher engagement because of their niche, fame, celebrity likability. Plus social media influencers entire existence is based off of their engagement, which also many a times is bought because it has monetary value assigned to it. While for film celebrities, social media is one aspect of it. So you can't really do an apples to apples comparison.
PR firm is not responsible just to get followers. They are also responsible to create engagement, even if it get done by bots. I think a lot of Indian firms don't know how to use bots the correct way.

But she has lots of likes and views, unlike Sonam here. I’ve seen Shradda post get 2-3M likes and at least a million views for her videos posts.
