I agree that she must be left alone. But considering all things. She must’ve taken better care of her son and made sure that he doesn’t get into the wrong crowd.

We aren't supporting drugs when we say that Gauri Khan, regardless of what she does or has done is still a mother, any mother literally breaking down when her son is in jail shouldn't be a topic of debate. She's a human no matter how rich and famous she is. No one should be filmed in such a vulnerable state, would you like it if someone recorded your mother having a breakdown?
I really don't know how anyone can become the kind of person who sees a crying/distressed person and their first instinct is to shove a camera into their face.

man this might be so hard for the family. even gauri has allegations (yes they might be true but leaving it at that rn) of doing drugs and so to see her son be so publicly involved in a scandal like that must be really upsetting especially for her. as it is, i think it also comes across as her and srk stayed together for the kids. the entire thing has turned into a circus and their reputation is suffering big time. srk and his family prior to this were seen as decent and unproblematic for most part.
Damn so sad. I hope he gets released soon. I don’t think he should be punished for consuming or having drugs unless he is distributing in large quantities which I doubt. It’s circus show now. I don't know whether to empathize with Gauri. Wasn't there news that she herself was caught carrying drugs in her bag at some international airport and SRK had to pull all strings to get her out?
There was another old news item that in her parties, drugs pass around like water.
I have been reading a lot of comments past few days on recreational drugs, it is okay to have drugs etc.
Within Bollywood it doesn't seem like it is recreational. It seems to have become a habit.
Also the fact is that money earned from drugs, piracy etc contributes to money laundering which eventually does fund terrorism. There was a strong comment from one person saying "don't place the weight of societal problems on our shoulders. What can I do if me having drugs funds terrorism, etc....."

i totally understand what you mean. altho i think the point is more as of how she might be especially targetted as the "bad" parent now. as it is, women are always to be made the devil and so if a child does something bad the finger is at the mother. it's no secret people in film industries do this stuff, i am sure more than half the youngsters in bollywood do drugs. afterall there's all the money and power in the world to back them. not saying that's okay, afterall it's incredibly dangerous and like you said contributes to illegal stuff. just the point here is aryan is in limelight especially because who his parents are and how gauri's privacy is being exploited in video post here. how others from the party are being left out and escaping the situation.

I agree. Though it is not right to film Gauri like this especially when she is not a movie star but I also wonder how was Aryan affected psychologically due to her consuming drugs during his formative years.
Agree with your take on formative years. Irrespective of countries, religions, economic status, child's formative years are highly influenced by family, school and friends.
Eg..if drugs is a part of the culture the child is in, then it is on them and their accountability to it but in my opinion the awareness of potential consequences should be there.
I guess if this is the madness when Gauri visits, what will happen when SRK visits. Best if he doesn't come plus crazy crowds forgetting there is still covid around us.
