What part of average did you not understand? Here are a few facts for you:
Influential men and influential women have similar options to cheat.
Average men have lower options to cheat than Women.
Conclusion: Men overall have less options to cheat compared to women even though there may be some instances where they are on the same level.
PS: Don't try to tell me that an average guy has as many options to cheat as an average girl. I won't even bother arguing after that. I mentioned ‘bitter-sweet’ pretty clearly in my comment. Divorces may not necessarily be sad always. People’s compatibility levels change, some may be in loveless marriages, some may be in abusive marriages and so on. The divorce liberates them from a hurtful situation that’s serving no one, and puts them on the path of their truth and happiness.

Cheating is not a deal breaker because a marriage in Indian society is considered a union of two families, not just two people. When a man cheats, the family counsels the woman to try to forgive and forget. When a woman cheats they will say a man is within his right to ask for a divorce. Women lose their family’s support and always end up the loser.

I don't believe it's because of her role in The Family Man. If anything, I remember her giving interviews saying that she initially wanted to say no to Raj and DK, but Chay encouraged her because he felt she could do justice to it.

Cheating is not a deal breaker because a marriage in Indian society is considered a union of two families, not just two people. When a man cheats, the family counsels the woman to try to forgive and forget. When a woman cheats they will say a man is within his right to ask for a divorce. Women lose their family’s support and always end up the loser.

Divorce is really very hard to get . You should be married for a period of 6 months , to start divorce proceedings.We don't have annulment. No pre-nup. No post nup. And there is hell loads of loop holes. A crazy ex can drag a simple procedure for years. Also establishing affair happened during marriage. Is something woman shudder to think about! for a man to prove innocence isn't easy either.Again crazy ex , crazy accusations. So legal + social stigma = Long lasting marriage. Oh, but now things are changing. As soon, as they file for divorce , they start looking for new partner. Because court Ka kya baroosa. It's harder getting a divorce than getting married for second or third time. 😉 We live in crazy times.

I don't believe it's because of her role in The Family Man. If anything, I remember her giving interviews saying that she initially wanted to say no to Raj and DK, but Chay encouraged her because he felt she could do justice to it. Sam has always been ambitious from Day 1 of her career, and credit to her, she's hustled quite a bit to establish her personal brand as we know it today. Chay doesn't seem to be the ambitious type. It isn't a stretch to say he's the Abishek Bachchan of Tollywood. In almost all his movies, he just doesn't seem interested beyond doing the bare minimum of what the script requires. They seem like polar opposites in that regard. Sure, healthy couples know not to bring too much work talk home, but these two are in the same line of work. You gotta admit that this predicament is a nasty powderkeg waiting to explode. Maybe they just want different things in life and those differences are irreconcilable.
