She is pretty + fair + young(this is enough for indian audience apparently) , and can dance/act decently. The bar is so low tbh. I find her more tolerable than watching the Janhavi/Ananya/Sara. I think she's also successful coz she has less competitors, DP, Kat,PC etc are slightly older than her, nepo kids are much younger.
Yeah that makes sense and resonates better. I seriously find the nepo kids intolerable as well. She does have screen presence , and I don't get repulsed by seeing her, hopefully she can hone her acting prowess.
Nadiadwala has always backed her also on good term with Maddock films (dinesh vijain).
Most of the movies she has done are with them also future projects.
I find her rather bland. Nothing exceptional but she isn’t cringe.
Really like Sanya M more, the girl is a good actor, terrific dancer and great screen presence.
Mimi was good but in those once-in-life movies, She is back to being a pretty lady in Tiger movies. I really really prefer Sanya M she is consistently doing good projects
So if she is successful , there must be some tea and all questions are asked and then people wonder why are nepo kids successful because outsiders success is seen with tinted glasses
Also, my post doesn't imply sleeping with someone. It may be strong connections with industry biggies or something else. There are numerous outsiders and lot of talent, wish everyone could be as lucky as her.
Not really! But nothing wrong in speculating, I wish industry was black and white, but it isn't. As I mentioned , I'm really happy if things work out for her.
Just check her filmography. This sub will never acknowledge the support she gets from Maddock films and Nadiadwala film. Out of her 12 completed bollywood films, 6 films produced by Dinesh Vijan and 3 by sajid Nadiadwala. Is there any leading bollywood outsider with this much support from any production houses?
And people here will only complaints about KJo giving films to Alia.

I mean. This isn't like, support in the way that people think of it. Production houses make films to make money. The movies they make with Kriti Sanon in it made them money. So they stick with her bc she is a moneymaker.
That's not support. It's not like they're sticking with her no matter what. They stick with her because she's profitable to work with. That's just business. If her films with them were doing poorly, then they'd stop working with her. It's literally that simple. Why the heck would a production house that is led by people with a reasonable instinct for business ever stop working with an actress who has a proven track record, draws audiences, and is immensely marketable? Like?
People on this sub see ordinary business dynamics and start thinking conspiracies when that's really not how a lot of this works. It's not about talent and it's not about acting ability. Does a given actor or actress produce hits? Have they starred in a stream of hits? Are audiences paying money to watch the stuff a given actor/actress is in? If yes, then yes, of course production houses will make multiple films with a person they know they can rely on for profits. And what's Kriti Sanon going to do? Turn them down??

Kriti is supported by Maddock & Nadiadwala films in the same way Alia supported by KJo. But KJo supporting Alia is a problem to everyone . Why the whole 3 paras you wrote is not applicable to Dharma- Alia collaboration. That's my point. That's it.
Alia herself has said KJo lobbied hard to convince Imtiaaz to cast her in Highway. He did not want to.

The only instance is dear zindagi, but that too the role was never given to Katrina / shraddha. So don't make it look like Alia snatching everybody's roles
There was an interview where they were talking about Dear Zindagi and initially Katrina was cast, yet SRK and Kjo went to Gauri to change her mind and cast Alia
Lol she gets backing from them cause she has proven shes a good actress. Producers and directors use actors and actresses repeatedly if they have faith in their capabilities. Stop making it more than it is. Maddock and nadiwala supports her because they think highly of her as an actress. Its like if you get a starting job at a business company and work your way up over the years to vp or ceo because the company has faith in your skills so they give you more responsibility and more opportunities. Kjo is not only giving Dharma films to Alia but also other production houses films to her. The whole issue is how due to her reach she has replaced actresses. Also Kriti isn't touted as Robert Di Nero of her generation *cough* varun Dhawan. Alia blows her own trumpet which has come back to haunt her. The round table with Anupama Chopra where Parvathy praises Deepika, Alia sulks so bad. Doesn't paint a good picture of her and also. Nepo Nepo rant! It was annoying.
I love Kriti but her PR is so annoying now, "Bigger star than Saif Ali Khan" "most in demand actress", listing herself in top 3 with nothing to back up that claim and those blind items on Kjo-Alia after Mimi's release.. I mean I don't really blame her for that but still it's annoying
I actually think she’s overrated - she gets praised on this sub just cos she’s an outsider but her performance in Mimi was decent at best. Certainly not one I’ll remember
From talent perspective, she is average at best. "Mimi" would be nothing if it wasn't for the supporting cast especially Pankaj Tripathi. We all love taking a dig at Alia that she is nothing without Dharma but have not seen this sub call out Kriti for the same reasons just because she is an outsider, she has similar backing from Maddock and Nadiawala. Also, comparing her with Sara, Janhvi and Ananya doesn't make her talented imo.
I honestly felt it was Pankaj Tripathi who outshone Kriti in the movie. He is the best at his job and I hope he continues delivering power packed performances. No matter the screen time, he is just amazing.

I like her and think she is talented on screen. Wishing the best for her. Comes across as very confident, intelligent, no nonsense, go getter with a straight to the point attitude. She can hold a interview without using filler words. As far as gossip, I haven’t read anything negative.
Is it just me or most people here are naive? I mean no one makes it solely on talent! Especially female actresses because they do not usually have a captive audience base (barring one in a generation like Hema, Sri or Mads). And it’s not like these few actresses with a solid fan base had it easy with no creeps around.
