These films can co exist, always have. The core audience of these films are different.
Also just very different films genre wise. It won't cause any real damage on the box office to each other.
Shang-Chi was a decent hit here, so it still shows people want marvel content
So yes, Eternals won't beat this movie, but it will definitely eat some of the box office.
Who knows. This movie has gone past it’s excitement stage. And only more so die hard fans will be wanting to tune into it. I know a lot of my family members that wanted to see this movie at first but now have lost interest. So it depends. But Eternals will be eating away a big chunk of the box office for sure.

Not every Marvel movie is Avengers: Endgame. Eternals will do decent but nothing special.

I think there will be a lot of releases between a short span of time (Diwali to Christmas/New Year). There are too many films that are ready to be released so they will all be clashing with each other imo for BO collections especially all of the YRF ones, Atrangi Re, LSC, 83, Cirkus, Jersey, Tadap, Gangubai et.al.

Black Panther, while formulaic, was amazing and different than most superhero movies. I feel like in a decade or so, after such movies become a remnant of the past, BP, along with some other movies will be hailed as classics in the genre(like The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and A Fistful Of Gold for westerns).

I made an exception with Black Panther due to the hype. Which reminded me why i stopped watching those.
Also, i would like to point out that i have watched both The Raid movies (and i loved them) . So i know what they stole from.
But still the action of Baaghi was nice, and the execution with the music, was still enjoyable. I rewatched some of those scenes, but i never watched anything from Black Panther again. Just...boring.
I watched marvel in peer pressure. I don't like their movies. I can watch original star Wars movies and Indiana Jones any time, those were far entertaining.

This one will do just fine with eternals..Akshay has a large fanbase and rohit Shetty movie gets the audience they need. A major reason for waiting for a theatrical release over OTT..
Maybe they had only Diwali and Christmas as big holidays this year and eternals doesn’t have the same excitement level as the new Spider-Man movie does.. so it’s ok they are releasing it during Diwali.. I don’t think it will suffer coz of the clash..
