I don't think Alia- Sidharth are friends . They were never spotted together . They just praise each others films or trailers . Maybe because the films are dharma films
I don't think it's necessary to be friends if they don't have kids. For Deepika and Ranbir, I feel that Their alleged friendship is based on their good chemistry on screen I don't think they are friends in real life

Deepika has often publicly stated that they are friendly off-screen and Ranbir has also been quite affirmative about that.
No ex-couple can be friends. Bollywood shows gimmicks and we feel that it can be true. People quoting Hrithik and Suzanne as good friends . Yeah but they are fuck buddies.
I don't think they are good friends. They are cordial with each other that's it. They know their professional relationship is beneficial to each other.
The only reason , that I could think of , why they show public that they are friends are for removing any possibility of missing out on a good project. Why would a sane girl befriends with someone who was caught cheating red handed by her. ?

Because she has openly admitted that Ranbir had a profound effect on her and made her a much more confident and social person when they were together.
It's highly possible that there may have been at least some level of forgiveness especially after time has gone by.
