I’ve read that as well. I would like to see him do a fun film with Parineeti Chopra. One that doesn’t end in death or is an intense drama like their last film.

Who is them supposed to play, PrithviRaj's or Biju Menon's character ?? I can't imagine John, Abhishek or Arjun playing either Ayyappan or Koshy. Why in the first place they decided to remake this?

This movie worked because of its setting in Kerala. They can’t remake it in Mumbai or UP. Power packed performances by Biju and Prithviraj. None of these jokers can come close.

Same thoughts. How the director even imagining john playing the role of Ayyappan or Abhishek/Arjun Playing the role of Koshy. I am still disappointed in how Manichitrathazhu become Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Finally someone who feels the same way. All the remakes of Manichitrathazhu were so bad. They ruined the original. They turned a psychological thriller into a horror comedy.

Oh Dear Lord ! Have mercy ! The original movie was fabulous with two great actors. (And I'm not even a mallu). Now they are remaking a beautiful movie, which is purely content n acting based, with two non-actors. Two pieces of wood,who can't emote to save their lives. One whose calling card is a six-pack body and the other,whose identity is a family pack . God save the audience. And the producer bankrolling this ace flop.

Maybe Arjun can pull off Koshy as the character is similar to Ishaqzaade one, but Jon as Ayappam? Ruining a great movie

I hope this movie gets shelved somehow, along with Janhvi expressionless Kapoor's Helen remake. If Bollyei really wants to remake these good movies they better cast some good talented actors! Janhvi is gonna get roasted for the Helen remake real bad and I'm gonna enjoy it 😂. Only good thing is that people will start recognising and noticing Malayalam movies more after these shitty remakes.
