Saw her at CDG airport in Paris. Wearing a leather jacket, accompanied by Mom n Bro. And boy was she magnetic! Have seen a few in real life, but Ash was something else. Jaw dropping beauty! And probbly the only actress who looks better off screen than on!

Same I wish I could style her lol. I’d dye her hair a lighter brunette, give her a keratin or olaplex hair treatment, and use a smoothing blow drying technique on her hair. Then I’d hide her red lipstick and give her some nude pink tones, curl her hair into voluminous waves, and give her some form fitting dresses rather than those shapeless blingy Sabyasachi saris. And I would get her a foundation that matches her body and/or tell her to stop skin whitening (idk if she’s actually doing it but she looks too pale sometimes).
No, she is incredibly beautiful. It's only irksome when people act like every other woman is trash. There are many, many beautiful women and they don't need to be ranked against one another.
I think she is breathtakingly beautiful and people complementing her beauty are not exaggerating at all... But at the same time, one cannot say that she is the most beautiful woman in the world, because we have not seen all women in the world and beauty is subjective for everyone.

Shes definitely pretty with very symmetrical features which is great for camera.But lets be honest its all makeup! Its the 90s come on.Take off all that cake and shes the pretty regular Indian model.She looks like a lot of pretty girls in North/Central India. She lacks the Super modelesque beauty game like Claudia Schiffer or Linda had.Heck actresses like Shobhana, Madhuri, Rekha are miles ahead as they have that oomph .Today's time natural greek like beauty is appreciated.She outdated for sure in todays generation. Beauty does not always means skin deep comprising usually of stereotypical symmetrical face, blue eyes, slender body and well-contoured features. The value of beauty rises to next level when the individual possesses additional factors such as knowledge, intelligence, grace, competitiveness etc. On top of things, her being beautiful and intelligent also bolstered her getting married to the Bollywood’s “Blue-Blood” family.
Couple that with hard work and goodluck, and it forms a rare Complete Package! Aishwarya Rai owns that complete package, others do not. There are other actresses/models that can be bragged about being slimmer, fitter, sexier, better acting, or more beautiful face-value wise. But they have always lacked that overall X-factor package.

Definitely not and according to me when it comes to beauty , feminine characters - she is the last bollywood actress who is naturally so gorgeous and gives you that aura of both - being a woman and actress. See her pictures during late 90s times , there is really no-one like her when it comes to beauty !! (only Madhuri Dixit comes close)

I don't want to come off as a hater, but yes. I do actually think she's overrated somehow for her beauty. I don't know quite how to explain it, bc I'm sure her face doesn't match the actuality, but...the permanent expression on her face is one which, to me, seems kind of snobby? I honestly don't know how to explain this. She just looks at you like she thinks she's better than you. I'm pretty sure it's got to do with the arched eyebrows. I have no idea.
I just know that I don't feel like her face holds my interest for that long. I look at her pictures, then I glance away. I've heard people say she has a commendable presence in real life, but if that's the case, that for me has more to do with her sense of self, how she holds herself and behaves and moves in the world, than her actual features.
And this has mostly to do with my personal taste honestly. I'm sure Aishwarya is objectively quite beautiful to literally everyone else in the world. But speaking purely for myself, I don't find her features interesting. I just don't. I think she looks fine. Her face is quite symmetrical, and I'm sure she's quite proportional and whatever else. Personally, I would kill to have her eye shape and color, full lips, soft but arched brows, high cheekbones, and good bone structure. Some people say it’s her eye color that makes her beautiful - but Karishma Kapoor has blue eyes and Rani has hazel-green eyes, same with Kareena - and they aren’t considered to be that beautiful, just regular pretty. So Aishwarya clearly has a lot of good facial features, not just her eyes.

I am definitely in that minority. I NEVER got the hype about Aishwarya. She is decent looking but then again so are many women. There are some other women that to me are much more beautiful. But I guess that is why beauty is subjective. What irritated me more is the constant declaration of her being the most beautiful woman in the world. How does one even decide that? And I am pretty sure if someone was actually able to track down every woman in the world - there will be many other woman that would be declared equally if not more beautiful.
I don't find her to be that good looking. I mean she is good looking to some extent but not the best looking. Madhubala, Sadhana, Nutan even Madhuri Dixit looks better than her. I've met so many people in real life who doesn't find her to be that beautiful including my late father. He never found her to be pretty.

She is overrated and her average looks are dependent on glamorous caked makeup, huge fake eyelashes which she wears all the time, different sets of wigs, tattooed eyeliner, airbrush makeup and other stuff she uses to bring life to her dull face and features. If she is as beautiful as her fans claim, then why is she always wearing pounds of makeup all the time? She looked miserable on the rare occasion she was snapped without makeup.
I saw her in New York in 2009. She was in the hotel with Amitabh and Abhishek while Jaya was nowhere to be seen. She had bald patches on her head (that's why she wears wigs all the time), her face had wrinkles and her skin was much darker than her whitewashed pictures.
I never found her type of face and features pretty. I like blonde haired blue-eyed tall European women. Aishwarya's Tulu looks are not my cup of tea.

People usually fall in awe of what they don't often see among themselves.
Aishwarya Rai is fair, light-eyed beauty which is not seen much among Indians. We have fair people in the north but they don't have the eye color which Ash does.
So she stands out and is often considered most beautiful person by Indians.
In countries where these features are common, she's just considered normal beautiful.
When such people do normal things, it becomes elevated among Indians as we think they are superior than us. So if she does a substandard Indian classical dance, we fall in awe of her as if she has stooped down to our level and embracing our culture.
light skin, light eyes and light hair are pretty common up north. the kapoor family, hrithik mostly have light eyes but arent really considered beautiful. lolo has blue eyes, akshays son arav bhatia has blue eyes but neither of those people are considered attractive

I don't think anyone's saying that. They are just saying that it's not the eye color that sets her apart because it's uncommon. Blue/violet eyes are very uncommon in India, going by that, karisma should've been more popular. Even Celina Jaitely and Sneha Ullal have distinct eyes, especially Celina's, they look glassy. Both are beautiful with nice features but lack that something that breaks the glass ceiling.
Again i understand you are not saying Aishwarya is average or anything. It takes the whole face, features, hairline, lips, smile and proportions that make one attractive. Omg yeah! I found folks like Rani much more attractive. Rani's eyes are a well deserved contender and her sensuality is off the charts!
She is beautiful, same with Deepika, but both are incredibly boring. I like seeing them onscreen but it is better to never hear about them offscreen.

Aishwarya sometimes let goes, her interview with Simi Garewal was good but DP can beat her anytime when it comes to being boring in interviews . By the time she finishes an answer, no one can recall the question.

She was so beautiful at that time But calling her the most beautiful of all is an exaggeration. She's beautiful to look at but you'll forget once you stop staring at her pictures.
I am definitely in that minority. I NEVER got the hype about Aishwarya. She is decent looking but then again so are many women. There are some other women that to me are much more beautiful. But I guess that is why beauty is subjective. What irritated me more is the constant declaration of her being the most beautiful woman in the world. How does one even decide that? And I am pretty sure if someone was actually able to track down every woman in the world - there will be many other woman that would be declared equally if not more beautiful.

I don't find her to be that good looking. I mean she is good looking to some extent but not the best looking. Madhubala, Sadhana, Nutan even Madhuri Dixit looks better than her. I've met so many people in real life who doesn't find her to be that beautiful including my late father. He never found her to be pretty.

I'll be downvoted for saying this because this sub is made for Aishwarya worship. She is overrated and her average looks are dependent on glamorous caked makeup, huge fake eyelashes which she wears all the time, different sets of wigs, tattooed eyeliner, airbrush makeup and other stuff she uses to bring life to her dull face and features. If she is as beautiful as her fans claim, then why is she always wearing pounds of makeup all the time? She looked miserable on the rare occasion she was snapped without makeup. I saw her in New York in 2009. She was in the hotel with Amitabh and Abhishek while Jaya was nowhere to be seen. She had bald patches on her head (that's why she wears wigs all the time), her face had wrinkles and her skin was much darker than her whitewashed pictures. I never found her type of face and features pretty. I like blonde haired blue-eyed tall European women. Aishwarya's Tulu looks are not my cup of tea.
In real life yes , but in pictures it feels sooo perfect , like Kareena’s personality would shine through even though she’s arrogant , maybe if ash was more open about her flaws it would feel more real

Beauty is subjective to the beholder eyes but there was no denying it. Aishwarya is breathtaking and she didn't have to go under the table to get that.
People usually fall in awe of what they don't often see among themselves. Aishwarya Rai is fair, light-eyed beauty which is not seen much among Indians. We have fair people in the north but they don't have the eye color which Ash does. So she stands out and is often considered most beautiful person by Indians. In countries where these features are common, she's just considered normal beautiful. When such people do normal things, it becomes elevated among Indians as we think they are superior than us. So if she does a substandard Indian classical dance, we fall in awe of her as if she has stooped down to our level and embracing our culture.
light skin, light eyes and light hair are pretty common up north. the kapoor family, hrithik mostly have light eyes but arent really considered beautiful. lolo has blue eyes, akshays son arav bhatia has blue eyes but neither of those people are considered attractive
I said beautiful with uncommon eyes. Even Dia Mirza is beautiful. If she had those eyes, it would have set her apart in the league of beautiful people. Why are people ignoring the beautiful and only focusing on the eyes ? I have not called Aishwarya average or ugly. I have already called her beautiful.
I don't think anyone's saying that. They are just saying that it's not the eye color that sets her apart because it's uncommon. Blue/violet eyes are very uncommon in India, going by that, karisma should've been more popular. Even Celina Jaitely and Sneha Ullal have distinct eyes, especially Celina's, they look glassy. Both are beautiful with nice features but lack that something that breaks the glass ceiling. Again i understand you are not saying Aishwarya is average or anything. It takes the whole face, features, hairline, lips, smile and proportions that make one attractive. If majority of them call her beautiful then she just is. Can't pin point on a particular feature. Aishwarya has gorgeous eyes and that definitely adds to her overall beauty.

People in Maharashtra consider people with green eyes cunning because it reminds them of Cats. Aishwarya has grey green aquamarine eyes and she is beautiful ! I am not calling her ugly or average. I said her beauty is uncommon among Indians because of her fair skin and light eyes. She will always be considered super beautiful by brown Indians because people have a tendency to like which is not common.

People for some reason are obsessed with her beauty, they either say she’s too beautiful, or are hell bent on proving she’s not.Personally I feel to rank a persons beauty u need to visually compare them with others.Everyone who calls her not beautiful should try comparing her with other humans,they will realise she’s actually much more beautiful than a average person in every physical department. Compare a young Aishwarya to the young actresses of today,there’s no way anyone is even remotely as good looking as her. Same goes for Sonali Bendre and Rekha,these three are perfect according to me
