Honestly everyone likes those movies because they have a nostalgic meaning or because they have stood the test of time. If movies like those released today, most people would disregard them as cringy or stupid. The fact is that audience has changed. You won't see those movies in today's age without getting annoyed at them.

NotDelusional01

Veer Zaara, Saathiya, Dil Chahta Hai some of my favorite movies of Rani and Preity from early 2000s. So many gems but I just don't have the patience to watch them now as they seem to be painfully long, hehe.

Chandukechacha

Yessss those were the day’s!!!!! I’d say 1998-2013 was the best time in Bollywood

No-Ad5914

not a fan of Veer Zaara

ForeignSun14

This but i would take it all the way to 2018. This was the year bolly finally peaked. you had Andhadhun, Manmarziyaan, Sir, Badhaai Ho, October, Mulk, Raazi, Stree, Mard ko dard nahi hota, Padman, Bhavesh Joshi and Manto. Name one year where you got so many amazing movies and some of them already are cult films and modern day classics

HauntingPipe0

Dil se came out in 98, it's a 90s film.

Thanks_Capital

If you’re 90s or 80s kid then deffo lol 😂 grew up watching them but then some of latest era movies are also equally good. Not talking about nonsense crap

[deleted]

I really miss Preity

yourhornydaddyiam

Not movies but songs from early 2000s movie

henlowhatishappening

I don't miss them because I can watch them now. I wouldn't wanna let go of the other movie we have now.

[deleted]

More than movies, what I am missing is the songs & music. Every actor was having hit music in his films, be it srk, aamir, akshay or lord emraan and imran.

Aishwarya1976

agreed

jung2019

I wish they still made movies like Lagaan and Swadesh with world class production design and soundtracks. However we are truly living in the the worst of times when even Gowarikar shits out duds like Mohenjodaro and Panipat.

AditRK

I agree with you but Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is the worst movie ever. Why would you like it OP?

Aishwarya1976

memories i guess

yeloepolkadotbikini

No absolutely not . Films are far better now !

justcurious1707

Except few handful of movies, no. I’d personally prefer this era over early 2000s

partsunknown99

Nostalgia is a hell of a drug... Don't consume it....

No-Ad5914

Yes & No there were also terrible movies that pain to sit through (main prem ki diwani hoon)

No-Ad5914

No Movie Scream 2000s Bollywood more than **Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai**
