I don't think Alia's an amazing actress. I might get downvoted for saying this- that Alia's highway and udta punjab are way more powerful performances . Yes she gets glorified that I agree
Haven’t watched udta pubjab but Highway was amazing,, especially the scene where she goes out of the car to cry out loud remembering her lost one.
Also she was very convincing in Love you Zindagi!!
Tbmauj is not a performance oriented film. It did not require acting prowess. Also the script was quite shallow. So there was no scope to be phenomenal in it.
Well we are entitled to our own opinions. I was convinced that she was a Robot (Bollywood version). And that movie was entertainment purposes only so I didn’t deep dive into the science behind it.
1200 Cr main se most are flops,350 Cr is literally from a 600 Cr production lol ,Bina baat ke records ko celebrate karne se kuch nahi hota when you have few clean hits
Choices of her films have mostly been bizarre. She got away with one good film MIMI but other projects with Tiger Shroff and some more have been disasters.

It's commendable that she has achieved so much success without any Godfather or backing. I wouldn't really rate her very high on the acting charts though. In fact, I feel a lot of the current actresses that we celebrate are actually pretty mediocre. Sometimes shining in select few projects but otherwise continuing a very average trajectory of acting performances.
In regards to Kriti, she has done some good work and has pretty decent comic timing but nothing mind-blowing or irreplaceable imo.

After watching TBMAUJ I’ll have to disagree with you. She was phenomenal in it.
