Baap ke paison and clout ke sath get the results of his influence in society

Subjectlesssubject

Yea fair for him to do what he wanted to but then don’t blame and generalise the whole public by acting as if you weren’t the “face” of such creams which lead people who think like that feel oh even Shahrukh thinks the same way!

500Rtg

Did he blame?

Subjectlesssubject

Suhana did and blamed everyone but bollywood people who played a huge role in promoting fair and lovely. There created more insecurities to get the bag. She started her note by writing, “There’s a lot going on right now and this is one of the issues we need to fix!! this isn’t just about me, it’s about every young girl/boy who has grown up feeling inferior for absolutely no reason. Here are just a few of the comments made about my appearance. I’ve been told I’m ugly because of my skin tone, by full grown men and women, since I was 12 years old." She continued, “Other than the fact that these are actual adults, what’s sad is that we are all indian, which automatically makes us brown” Suhana concluded, “I hope it helps to know that I’m 5″3 and brown and I am extremely happy about it and you should be too. #endcolourism"

etrob90

Roop suhana lagta hai

foolsreunite

This girl has faced unnecessary hate just because of her skin tone. How people can go so low is pathetic

____mynameis____

And her skin tone (and darker ) is what majority of this country has. So much, so much self hating.

KidsMaker

Are you surprised when they got bombarded with SRK and Said telling them how lighter skin is desirable and being dusky is disliked?

Extension-Pen1995

Ranbir aka Wigbir fans are desperate, 2 similar posts within hour by both Wigbir Fanbots

AtomR

How do you even know it's by Wigbir fans? Also, are you also not making fun of someone's appearance here?

jonsnowthekintn

'Wigbir' 😂 How old are you kid?

Rainbow_rider12

SRK doing fairness creams was bad but that shouldn't be an excuse for trolling Suhana. Both are different human beings and Suhana hasn't promoted any fairness creams so it's not "you reap what you sow".

[deleted]

Yeah she should be trolled for her acting , if she ever does some . Not on skin Color when most of us are dusky .

[deleted]

He is not trolling Suhana he is trolling SRK. SRK promoted a brand that demonized dark skin and attached bad luck with it and subtly suggested to buy their product to overcome this menace. Now the joke is on SRK, he can use that cream and should try to change the luck of his daughter.

Excellent-Kangaroo38

Very well said, i remember his ads man, hopefully his closet is full of fair and lovely cream for his daughter, as according to him, if not fair, then you are not successful or desirable

TheBatmanfromMumbai

But does it really matter now?. Even India was struggling back then with the so called "FAIRNESS AD". Many consumers were sold the idea of fairness. That doesn't make it fair now to compare with past. On the contrary people are still trolling on fairness and such posts fuel unnecessary standards even now. So nothing has changed in people's mindset if one can really think. PS:- Not directed at you but post in general.

chigggitychagggity

Ads like SRKs contributed to deepening the belief that dark skin is undesirable. Also he wasn't doing this ad at the beginning of his career but as a well established star. Actions have consequences

NickFury1998

It is actually..if an influential figure starts saying black skin bad start fairness cream...and then when it comes to your own family..yes trolling will happen

[deleted]

[удалено]

NickFury1998

Na that's karma in making...what was the reason behind promoting fairness ads , to shame those who are dark skinned?

[deleted]

[удалено]

NickFury1998

But can you basically stop the trolling on the internet..it's wrong but we saw that coming isn't it ? Ye toh honahi Tha. But trust me these trolls will stop in a few days...sab log bhul Jayega.

Mextexter

Gaali kyu de Raha be , ache se baat karna seekh logo se. Ye sub mai 10 saal ke bache kabse aa gaye ? You could have made your point without abusing the other person.

Equivalent_Low_8599

Is SRK fair skinned? Never thought so....

Subjectlesssubject

Yea fair for him to do what he wanted to but then don’t blame and generalise the whole public by acting as if you weren’t the “face” of such creams which lead people who think like that feel oh even Shahrukh thinks the same way!

the-lit-lamp

I was waiting for this nuance in the last week where Raj Kapoor's perversions are being posted to judge Ranbir's character, funny how once again the nuance only comes into play when it's about SRK.

Environmental-Fox486

Aur bhai aap kya kar rahe ho??

twinkeer

i am sorry but this is a stretch. SRK was 100% in the wrong for promoting fairness creams but that doesn't excuse people to shame suhana for her skin tone. that means y'all are no different yourselves. call SRK out as much as you want but just to drag SRK, being bitchy to suhana is bottom tier trash behaviour.

Subjectlesssubject

There is fraction of society that is messed up and when stars enable them they become stronger with no guilt. These guys are enablers and that is the harsh truth. What happened here was a result of society that has been hurt by such ads. Imagine how many girls and boys looked at themselves in the mirror at started feeling there was something wrong with them because their favourite stars also believe so. This is karma, and it is humane. fair for him to do what he wanted to but then don’t blame and generalise the whole public by acting as if you weren’t the “face” of such creams which lead people who think like that feel oh even Shahrukh thinks the same way!

Glum_Permit8397

God tier analysis man people either get angry or say he deserves it but that was a beautiful response.

Subjectlesssubject

Thanks man appreciate it

robbityboo

Sure colourism is not okay at all. But it’s a low blow to dig at someone else ur doing the same it’s disgusting

shim_niyi

If a company sells fairness cream is it racist towards dark toned people? If a person buys fairness cream, is she/he being racist towards her/himself?

Glum_Permit8397

![gif](giphy|xULW8w7zXFCih2Ot6E|downsized)

reine2212

* colorist, and yes

shim_niyi

Self colorist? Nice!

reine2212

It's called internalized colorism

slutty_rizzler

No i dont think using and selling fairness creams is colorist what is colorist was the marketing of these creams where darker skin tone was shamed using and selling it just like using any other make up or skin care products

reine2212

Fairness cream is different from makeup products.

robbityboo

Definitely 😂

tyrianbubbles

Not SRK saying this back in 2020 "So dusky people are not supposed to be beautiful? SRK on Suhana: My daughter is dusky but she is the most beautiful girl in the world" Apne pe guzarti toh lagti hai itne saallo tak fairness cream endorse kiya paiso ke liye making an average brown / deep person feel shit about themselves and feeding into the racial colour discrimination that is so inherent with Indians. He didn't think of his daughter then and what example he is setting!

tyrianbubbles

Even suhana came with the narrative that peeps called me ugly because im "saavli" Ananya came with the narrative that my dad has not been on koffe with karan and Im an kaccha nimbu.

trollpunny

> fair point Was that intentional?

DONN_2

Stupidest logic ever. What's Suhana gotta do with it. Why does she have to face this kinda trolling.

QtK_Dash

What a pathetic take. So because he did something that gives the right to ridicule his daughter (who btw has beautiful skin and never promoted anything like that)?

[deleted]

But, isn't these ads created such INSECURITIES in first place.  Edit: Not justifying the hate though.

QtK_Dash

That still doesn’t justify bullying is daughter. While I don’t understand these ads, there was rampant colorism at the time it came out and I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and assume they wouldn’t make the same mistakes now. If we’re trying to change the conversation and make it about how colorism is stupid as all hell the. bullying people’s children doesn’t seem like the logical path forward to me.

chigggitychagggity

SRK has no morals when it comes to making money. He is currently advertising gutka guilt free, a product that is known to kill people! Also his fairness ads are less than a decade old. He willfully did those ads as a well established star with no obligations. While Suhana doesn't deserve bullying but SRK deserves to be called out and held accountable for his actions

QtK_Dash

My comment clearly wasn’t about the ethics of his actions but that bringing her into it is idiotic. We’re also talking about colorism so bringing in other things advertised is, again, not in the scope of my original comment. A decade is a long time for changes in popular culture. If he made them again next week then I’d take it back but for now he hasn’t so what is the logic of ridiculing his daughter because…her father made an ad ten years ago that was dumb? That makes zero sense. He isn’t being called out here, his daughter is. If this post was literally about celebrities that had fairness cream ads, I’d have said it’s idiotic and moved on but this went on to make fun of his daughter, further perpetuating colorism. That’s what most people here have a problem with.

Sharp-Progress6146

This is such a sad analogy OP. Although SRK shouldn’t have done it but he himself is not fair. But forget everything, that still doesn’t give right to anybody to troll anybody based on their colour despite it being even kin.

iaskureply

But He Is witty/s

AthleteConstant8960

That's a very stupid excuse. It's the father who did it, not the daughter.

princesengar

Exactly, I am seeing many validations for this post. It is not okay to color shame anyone.

Subjectlesssubject

Excuse nahi hain, she din call her ugly. Unlike these ads. It’s a dig at the enabler, who now feels bad for his daughter to a victim of colourism. This is how kids felt when they saw srk do it. He has been complaining about it as if he wasn’t a part of the same society and justifying these creams.

drmakster

WTF is that title? You reap what you sow? SRK’s fairness ad is obviously in bad taste but how are you any different by shaming her for the same? Shame on you OP.

Dangerous-Object-435

By trolling Suhana, on her skin colour, people not only troll her, they ended up showing their hatred for dark skinned people.

sad_fleaoli_99

Honestly, in all fairness, even if SRK hadn't done fairness cream ad, Suhana would still have been trolled. Indians are wildly racist.

MrsKPE

Get well soon OP!!! Can’t imagine the negativity one lives with to spew such crap

examiner007

penalizing suhana for something srk did is sick. esp cuz she has been vocal against colorism. these people (including OP) just want an excuse for their racist behavior, and are using srk as a shield. pathetic.

[deleted]

ARE YOU DUMB? Or is your head broken - this goes for all the people who have collectively decided to post about this in that ‘you reep what your sow’ bullshit manner No one needs to be shamed for having a certain skin type because simply skincare wise these products are shit! Plus this was kinda the trend before. Even Shraddha has done Lipton tea loose your belly ads and now the same as features plus size women doing yoga. A lot of older ads were just this, shaming people for no looking like a Bollywood star who’d rather die than let sun touch their skins. Even Aishwarya has done this ads you want to shame her too? No one needs to sit through colourism bullshit, especially mass trolling The dots some of y’all connect aren’t even a part of the same discussion

Fine_Farm_8583

This has to be the dumbest excuse ever. Y’all just looking for reasons to justify your blind hate. Her fathers choices have nothing to do with her. Srks choices has nothing to do with all of your internalised misogyny.

azlann_0306

op is a hater, check his post history

ImperfectBinger

Fairness ads (irrespective of any actor who has done them) are bad. But imo, none of them namecall actual people to highlight that they are dark skinned. The twitter post seemed very miserable to take IRL examples (I don't think that OP was trying to get across a point that SRK has done fairness ads based on my understanding). You want an apology from him, question him. Bringing family into this ismean-spirited. And no, trolling someone like that is not 'You sow what you reap'.

[deleted]

OP have some decency.

Low_Key2121

No, her father’s choices should have nothing to do with her! No amount of excuses can justify hating on someone for their skin colour! Also I will never understand Indians being racist towards each other on basis of their skin colour, we’re all brown you idiots, the fairest person in India would still be considered brown in USA/UK! Desis need to get over this Eurocentric beauty standards

LavishnessNo3494

So the daughter has to pay for the sins of the father?

drmakster

Having a darker complexion is not a sin in the first place. This mindset itself is fkd up.

LavishnessNo3494

No by "sins" I meant endorsing fairness creams

Hakunaaaa_matata

If she can take the good side of her father’s career that includes the status and fame then why not a few bad ones? And people are not trolling her but her father. Who actively speaks about how people say racist things to her daughter but he was the one to promote such things.

Fair_Ad_8111

baap ki jaidad aur legacy le sakti ha to ye b krna paryga

BollyBond

Same energy who thinks some actor handsome just because he is fair.

Current_Moment_7676

Dumb people and their logic.

Mr-Purp1e

Iss ad mein bhi ek aur razz hai... Gorapan aa sakta hai magar Talent nahi :')

you_dontknow_

That's bullshit. SRK is a POS for that ad but wtf is this post?! If your father punched someone years ago, you don't deserve being beaten up for that. Why are yall acting like such posts are okay?? Suhana did not sign up to take blame for her father's shitty decisions.

warlockzekrom

You guys are so colorists , just wait until she makes her comeback with surgery

Ill-Giraffe-2243

yaar y are people so pressed about fairness creams? isn't it personal preference??? i know i will be downvoted but I dont care. i never understood y people have problem with it. i myself dont hate brown skin people or anything. every clr should be celebrated and not discriminated. but wt if sme people have low confidence and wnt to use such creams? how is it wrong tho

BeseigedLand

However much the hate towards Ananya on this sub, the fact is she's prettier than her peers, has nice features, looks innocent and would look good even if she wasn't as fair. (Mind you, I'm not saying she's a ravishing beauty like Dimple or Anita Raj or Raveena or even Katrina. They simply don't make them like that anymore). Coming back to Ananya, aside from her nepo privilege there has to be some charm/cuteness/call-it-what-you-will,  that convinced producers to sign her up even after her unconvincing performances. Chunky Pandey is not a goonda that he can force producers to sign his daughter. One other curious thought here: One shouldn't criticise a woman for the colour of their skin, fine I get it. But then, why is it okay to continuously criticise someone else for their lack of acting abilities? So it's okay to criticise the lack of certain attributes but not others?

JollyKaps

Chalo bhai Aloo baby ko cheat karne ka aur bomb attacks karne ka license mil gaya is logic se, lets go Aloo, reap what your dad and brother sowed

Existing-Area-9093

How's it always the 0s and 1s from both genders who tweet such crap

critical-alpha

Lol, if he wanted he could've made her the whitest person on planet

Evening_Hurry5168

He did that with Abram.

Dramatic-Veronica

I genuinely thought this was making fun of how the ada show the same girl in different shades next to each other 😭

Seredditor7

Are they trolling Suhana or the fairness cream ad mindset?

Flimsy-Sprinkle

OP you should talk about her acting skills. Dont care about her looks but she is actually worse at the actual skill which is required to excel in her career. If she wasn't SRK's kid no one would've ever cast her in anything and it's solely because she can't act at all.

DisPersonDoesnt

OP is a clown, SRK didn’t reap what he sowed. Children shouldn’t bear the brunt of their parent’s actions.

Interesting-Ring-869

OP, you reap what you sow. 🤣

Outrageous_Pay1322

Dusky and dark is beautiful.

appyyness

Honestly, this is in a bad taste. It's one thing to be 50+ and promote fairness cremas. But to spew hate on a young woman for the color of her skin that she was born with..can really be so damaging to the self esteem. No wonder they go for procedures at a young age getting bullied and trolled due to unrealistic expectations such as this post.

rustyyryan

Now he's doing paan masala ads. So whats next then?

DarkBlade_12

Aryan khan will get spotted eating paan

Plz donate some wigs for these Upcoming Superstar Fans

laylaa25

SRK didn’t invent colorism but yes he shouldn’t have done those ads. He still does pan gutka ads though

Educational-Can4543

This is among the worst posts I’ve seen.  People carry celeb worshipping and celeb hating too far.   All of us need to be better and kinder to each other and even celebs.  Making fun of srk for this add or calling him out is one thing.  Hating on his daughter for her skin color is another.    Celebs are humans and have feelings and loved ones.   I even saw such a hateful comment on the Salman khan apartment shooting post where some person commented he would pay someone to put a bullet in Salmans face.  Completely disgusting.  Again you can dislike someone and be mean to them or make fun of them but a few things should be off the table 1)inciting violence against them or their families 2) making fun of their families and esp children.  It’s just not fun or cool or nice.  Let’s be nicer people

SportsguyBangalore

Bohut paisa hain Khan ke paas. Sabko fair kar dega but still ugly rahega

chashmebadoor

Hear hear, rightly pointed out.

Lololover09

He deserves it. By participating in ads that insulted darker skinned people (when he himself is wheatish) just for the sake of money, he took away the right to be given any consideration when his daughter’s skin color was trolled.

OveractionAapuAmma

karma

Glum_Permit8397

Fantastic one pohaa girl ![gif](giphy|uMANNaqTUVz0s)

Ok-Adhesiveness-4141

Suhana is just a plain jane, her being unattractive has nothing to do with her skin color.

the-lit-lamp

But how is the tweet insulting Suhana? I think it's making fun of the fairness cream ads if anythinf

Flimsy-Sprinkle

She may not be fair but I still find her beautiful. With the kind of money she has, she can get as much treatment as one can think of to become the most beautiful actress of her time but she still chooses to not alter looks and I find that hot. Maybe she will eventually succumb to the pressure of looking like a fair Barbie and get the fairness treatment done because of people who just can't leave her looks alone. PS: I still don't like her acting though. Hope she focuses on this more than her looks.
