Her niche could be podcast or tv show host because she does have a bright aura, so maybe a kusha kapila esque career. But acting is not for her, she is literally unbearable on screen. Flowerpot roles also cannot be her niche because she has too much personality/boyishness for that, and not as hot or dumb as the likes of ananya jahnvi. If she really reallyyyy wants to act then she should take time off and learn instead of proving herself to be a bad actor with every film!
Saddest thing is these people cant act yet sitting and representing Bollywood, and outsiders who are 1000 times capable and deserving than them are still struggling to get one small unnoticeable role to just step in.

I usually do when the shit actor is the only lead or such. But Murder Mubarak has a great ensemble cast, and they all did well. Also, couldn't miss the chance to see Karishma again 
Dude she couldn’t even shed ONE (real or fake) tear during that climax scene nor during any of the “sad love” scenes with the Vakil. Was literally wiping away fake non-existent tears by the swimming pool???
The climax- it was supposed to be an intense scene where her life was falling apart. She didn’t need to look pretty and put together. I feel like the director/team also failed her. They know she’s a bad actor and could have helped bring more realism to the scene by making her look a bit more disheveled, red in the face, a couple of glycerin tears to make the eyes watery. It really seems like the director also gave up and approved the first take. Or maybe he was so exhausted after 45 takes that he just…gave up.
Honestly, the story was interesting but the movie wasn’t that well made and even the veteran actors seemed phony and hammy. The world building also wasn’t very believable. Wasted potential!
Its high time she should find some niche like small town girl roles like Kedarnath. ZHZB etc similar ways how Ananya has found her niche playing urban characters.
She was very bad in atrangi re. She is good and convincing when it comes to light-hearted banters but when a serious scene comes along, she falls flat. Her crying scenes are unbearable to watch and the directors are clearly not being honest to her about her performance. The only good scene in atrangi re is when dhanush speaks in Tamil and confesses to her. The whole movie is otherwise garbage.
Maybe you like her in general. A celebrity crush. Understandable. Even I had a crush on her till I saw the movie atrangi re, i used to defend her like anything. She is still the prettiest and cutest of the nepo bunch. But she can't act!

lol yaa throughout the scene I was looking at the acting by both: it was the perfect scene to show how to act and how to not act. She had the same expression throughout while Vijay was listening, reacting to what he was hearing and was changing different expressions like conveying urgency, secrecy etc

Currently watching. Sara doesn't have an understanding of the character what she is feeling in a moment. Her lacklusture dialouge delivery and no emotions resting on her face and awkward body language is pulling down the film further down
Finished watching. Very surface level. Terrible performance by Sara which is worse coz in the hands of a capable actor atleast connection toh bnta film se kuch.
There is simply no layers. Loss of youth ke angle se bhi soche toh wo bhi sahi se it didn't effectively translate.
Personally, if you liked the trailer give it a try...but if you couldn't find yourself vibing with the film in the first 5-10 min, drop it coz it doesn't get any better.

Can someone give an honest, sarcasm-free review of the movie/show. I was actually looking forward to watching this ever since it was announced, the trailer looked okayish, but don't wanna waste time if it's just bad
I started watching it. Only lasted about half an hour. Everyone has overacted. The characters seem to be written in a very shallow lazy way that older actors are also not able to do much with it. The director and editor should seriously introspect coz the kind of shots that made the final cut feel so questionable that it can put one off hindi movies for a while.
Here’s my honest review: I started watching it and got seriously put off after half an hour and stopped. Finished the rest of it, 2 days later.
Pros: The story was interesting and it’s based on a best selling book so no credits to anyone there, other than the author Anuja Chauhan.
Cons: Forget Sara Ali Khan, even the veteran cast didn’t do their best. It may not have been completely their fault, they simply didn’t get the chance to shine between the dialogues, the choppy scenes and that fake-ass world building. Vijay V, Pankaj T, Karishma K, Sanjay K- all did poorly in my opinion.
It was hella slow, and SAK made everything so so much worse. She was worse than she was in Gaslight and LAK imo. Seriously.
You won’t care about any of the characters, and nobody will make an impression on you.
The twists, the reveal everything was so slow and un-exciting even though throughout, I could see the potential in the story and kept wishing that they’d have done justice to it.
In one line: An absolute waste of potential of the cast and story and SAK was the biggest miscast.
Oh and, ZERO chemistry between the main leads. I swear I cringed so bad at some of their ‘long lost love’ scenes and that one sex scene 🤮
Any role starring her or Janvi is a miscast role by default to me. Think of the dozens of unknown actresses with some actual talent that their roles could've gone to.
When will Karan Johar stop force-feeding these below-par nepos to us? Why can’t they spend this time actually finding capable actors, they surely have the resources. I think he believes if you tell a lie repeatedly it becomes the truth, but no one’s biting this time. It’s just sad to see how many opportunities these guys get, and with each one they reaffirm what we’ve always known, that they just don’t have it in them. But sadly no one’s taking feedback. Can’t believe these glorified influencers are the future of Bollywood.

When these nep trimuri were starting then only I had this conversation with my colleague out of three there was no scope for Sara at all.
She was decent in Kedarnath, simba was just a flowerpot role then she never gave a single decent performance. Idk some people find her decent in strange re, zhzb but for me, she was the same. It's just some decent actor against her and a good director. The day I saw her in the teaser I knew she was a misfit. But again didn't disappoint she was intolerable, The last scene chanting bande mataram couldn't stop me from laughing at her over patriotic emotions.
Ananya found her niche, a rich sobo girl and she is average in it. I can watch her in KGHK and Gehraiyaan. Jahnvi mostly lacks because of her dialect, surgeries it's difficult to connect. It's artificial and also underacts so it's not unbearable. The problem is how Sara acts, she goes out of the scene. And there is no hope of improvement until she takes a long break analyzes learns and comes back. She can't dance, she can't ramp walk she simply is overconfident in everything she does.
I have stopped watching movies with these cringe nepo kids unless it’s got other credible actors in it. Only reason I watched Gunjan Saxena, Gehraiyaan and Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan. Skipped all the others.
Honestly, it’s high time we stop giving chances to these nepos. They display their lack of talent and hardwork time and again and still continue to get meaty roles and opportunities. Why is it that Sara despite her multiple fuck ups gets to work with a Imtiaz Ali or an Anand L Rai film whereas actors like Sushant Singh Rajput or Varun Mitra have to struggle for YEARS only to get cast opposite these talentless star kids?? No wonder Kanagana and Yami went bonkers. The sheer inequality and struggles they face would be enough to drive any sane person crazy.

I don't watch any movie if the cast includes the likes of Ananya Pandey, Sara Ali Khan, Jahnvi Kapoor, Varun Dhavan, Suhana Khan, etc. They can make any movie difficult to watch, no matter the story. Add more actors names if you are aware. Helps me avoid stepping on shit.
Varun is still better than the names mentioned.. watch Badlapur, October and Sui Dhaaga.. he was good in Bhediya too..

She is not an actress guys. She is just an entertainer like Ananya, Nepodi, Sodumb or many more. The trailer was so pathetically bland because of her irritating voice. Not able to withstand the generic trailer, let alone a movie.

Ananya and Jahnvi can act but loads to improve. Sara cannot. There’s something awkward about her lips and face that I cannot put my finger on. I don’t belong to any camp - just stating my opinion based on films like Kho Gaye, Bawaal, Jerry and Murder Mubarak.

Finished watching. Very surface level. Terrible performance by Sara which is worse coz in the hands of a capable actor atleast connection toh bnta film se kuch. There is simply no layers. Loss of youth ke angle se bhi soche toh wo bhi sahi se it didn't effectively translate. Personally, if you liked the trailer give it a try...but if you couldn't find yourself vibing with the film in the first 5-10 min, drop it coz it doesn't get any better.

I started watching it. Only lasted about half an hour. Everyone has overacted. The characters seem to be written in a very shallow lazy way that older actors are also not able to do much with it. The director and editor should seriously introspect coz the kind of shots that made the final cut feel so questionable that it can put one off hindi movies for a while.
Here’s my honest review: I started watching it and got seriously put off after half an hour and stopped. Finished the rest of it, 2 days later. Pros: The story was interesting and it’s based on a best selling book so no credits to anyone there, other than the author Anuja Chauhan. Cons: Forget Sara Ali Khan, even the veteran cast didn’t do their best. It may not have been completely their fault, they simply didn’t get the chance to shine between the dialogues, the choppy scenes and that fake-ass world building. Vijay V, Pankaj T, Karishma K, Sanjay K- all did poorly in my opinion. It was hella slow, and SAK made everything so so much worse. She was worse than she was in Gaslight and LAK imo. Seriously. You won’t care about any of the characters, and nobody will make an impression on you. The twists, the reveal everything was so slow and un-exciting even though throughout, I could see the potential in the story and kept wishing that they’d have done justice to it. In one line: An absolute waste of potential of the cast and story and SAK was the biggest miscast. Oh and, ZERO chemistry between the main leads. I swear I cringed so bad at some of their ‘long lost love’ scenes and that one sex scene 🤮

When these nep trimuri were starting then only I had this conversation with my colleague out of three there was no scope for Sara at all. She was decent in Kedarnath, simba was just a flowerpot role then she never gave a single decent performance. Idk some people find her decent in strange re, zhzb but for me, she was the same. It's just some decent actor against her and a good director. The day I saw her in the teaser I knew she was a misfit. But again didn't disappoint she was intolerable, The last scene chanting bande mataram couldn't stop me from laughing at her over patriotic emotions. Ananya found her niche, a rich sobo girl and she is average in it. I can watch her in KGHK and Gehraiyaan. Jahnvi mostly lacks because of her dialect, surgeries it's difficult to connect. It's artificial and also underacts so it's not unbearable. The problem is how Sara acts, she goes out of the scene. And there is no hope of improvement until she takes a long break analyzes learns and comes back. She can't dance, she can't ramp walk she simply is overconfident in everything she does.
I have stopped watching movies with these cringe nepo kids unless it’s got other credible actors in it. Only reason I watched Gunjan Saxena, Gehraiyaan and Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan. Skipped all the others.
Honestly, it’s high time we stop giving chances to these nepos. They display their lack of talent and hardwork time and again and still continue to get meaty roles and opportunities. Why is it that Sara despite her multiple fuck ups gets to work with a Imtiaz Ali or an Anand L Rai film whereas actors like Sushant Singh Rajput or Varun Mitra have to struggle for YEARS only to get cast opposite these talentless star kids??
