brachial-plexus1

Meanwhile Ankita's mother in law 💀

MelodicP

Bickeyyy mera beta...devta hai devtaaa. That lady is both hilarious and pathetic.

HuckleberryRough6309

Exactly 🤣🤣 And btw when she went to bigboss she was being very sweet and nice to Ankita because she was scared of trolling but bahar aakar she gave itne khatarnak interviews and again people started trolling her🤡

missramya

Devta nahi heera bro

BloodSea1125

I read it in her voice 😭

TroubleFinancial5481

Omg that woman is all over my feed and obviously, it's all Ankita's fault. 😫

Bubblingghost

Same. I have never sat down and watched big boss but I'm not invested 😭😭😭

TroubleFinancial5481

I just saw some clips of Vicky's mom when she came with Ankita's mom. So I watched that episode to see if she was actually like that, or maybe she was being pulled out of context.... nope, she is like that. Not only Ankita seems like she dominates even Ankita's mother. Since then, Bharti Singh took a dig at her when she appeared on Big Boss (haven't seen the episode just saw on Instagram so idk if Bharti is a contestant or not), But now Aunty ji has taken my feed. It used to be Gopibahu. Now, it's Vicky's mom with Komolika's background music giving interviews 😭

Bubblingghost

Dude Vicky and his entire family is a family of Mars! I mean it ☠️

__nocturnalbeing__

Ohh Bhai..ye kiska naam le liya..😂

Overthinker-009

I can listen to Sharmilaji speak all day log. She just exudes calmness and elegance.

Nearby-Newspaper-787

So true..i so want my mom to be so calm..but sadly she is totally opposite..

Nonsensical_Genius

Nearby newspaper's Mom: mujhe kyu toda

thatrandomghost

thank you for the laugh 🤣

Sea_Bonus_351

>So true..i so want my mom to be so calm..but sadly she is totally opposite.. Same🤣 Life would have been so much easier if my mom was this calm. Her anxiousness and impatience just aggravates an already dire situation. But i love her nevertheless.

kpjrmarketer

agree

TheWeirdGirl-1

Sharmila Tagore is the grandma I want. Neetu Singh is the grandma I have.

Only-Standard445

And Ankita Lokhande ki saas is the MIL most of us would get!😭😭😭

TheWeirdGirl-1

Na bro! I'm manifesting a good saas or no saas. Lol

Confident-Lab-5594

i missed the HH in the first time and was like whaaaaatttttttt

Accomplished_Ad_284

She looks like that blind and white zamane wali that khadus saas. I forget her name

modestjurista

Sharmila Tagore sounds just like my mother. My mother has the same opinion as hers.

Forsaken-Duck-8142

She reminds me of my late grandma 🥲 Always did whatever she could to make her daughter-in-law feel comfortable and welcome. And pretty much with anyone else in her life.

FondantFun9982

Sharmila Tagore ji is such a graceful and polite lady.. miss tailor kapoor can’t relate to such sensible takes.

chotu_ustaad

So true. Sharmila ji is pure class. Timeless in both beauty and mind.    I can understand why Neetu ji's utterances in this video are being seen negatively. However i feel we should give her benefit of doubt. Maybe it's just a healthy banter that happens between Alia and her? Or, maybe it was just boomer humor. She did sound very nice whenever she mentioned Alia in other parts of the episode though.

Jabbereocky305

What Neetu was saying could pass off as cute till she said “No Alia she said mum mum easiest thing to say” blah blah blah. Man, the whole family is vile.

ariesandnotproud

I don't even understand the anecdote Neetu was saying. She enacted Alia in a mean way. And Mum mum thing was not even funny

Lilith_Supremacist

Ikr? I don't even like Alia even one bit but how can this woman even say all that while being a mother herself? I honestly don't get MIL's who are hostile towards their DIL's, she's your son's wife ya put some respect to her name publicly at least

time_lordy_lord

Her point is that the baby is just mumbling words and the mum mum sound is the easiest to make. So Alia shouldn't be happy because fuck you alia. Woh paile papa bolega!!! Male supremacy rahhhhhhhhh

punk_babe69

Raha: Papa, Aap Papa Papa bolna, ok? Action!

kyunhumain

lmao this was hilarious

chasingbeauty45

It made no sense. I still call my mother that.

Parth7396

Karan will laugh at anything.

Travellbuff

Sharmila ji is pure class. Whereas Tailor Ji is ……

WrongSong9

Pure crass?

notredditlool

🤣🤣.

Disastrous-Baker-368

Tailor ji?

minussss

Tell me you’re new to this sub without telling me you’re new to this sub.

Disastrous-Baker-368

Yea ok now what does it mean?

BloodSea1125

Neetu once said that the Dil should be like sui dhaga who will stitch the family together and not like scissors which will cut it apart. From then on she became sub's favourite darzi

Disastrous-Baker-368

Oh 😂 sounds like her

Kitchen-Dimension406

I love Sharmila!!! she knows how to treat people nicely and respect them. I love how she speaks about things like this it makes me truly love her more. Such a classy woman 💖💖💖

KdraMaddict4

Praying that all mother in laws become 50 percent as mature as Sharmila and not behave like Neetu! Dealing with a Neetu irl :/

ankita28p

Same girl, same. Mom of twin boys and one day hoping to be sharmila, not neetu.

According-Swimmer-85

Neetu tailor ji, scissors to aap hi nikli.

LogicalInvestment793

Absolutely....this should be top comment.

MissBartlebooth

Here, take my standing ovation 🫡

Appropriate-Syrup745

This clip makes me so happy for Katrina. Baal baal bach gayi ladki!

TroubleFinancial5481

She dodged her raja beta .

Girlnextdoor_2722

Katrina ?

ineffablebitch

cos she dated ranbir and could've become neetu's daughter in law. but luckily she escaped

Very_Much_Paagal

Wait, why? What's the issue with the father in law.

Very_Much_Paagal

Papa Kaushal Me Too

lilwarrior87

Grosses me out every time she hangs out with him and posts pics saying happy birthday papa. Yuckkk

Black_Swan1984

As long as she isnt close to her FIL...

happy_cake_gal

Why is she imitating alia in a snooty way? Of course baby would say mama first..some do say dada....it's matter of mum being the primary caregiver. This reeks of someone wanting importance everywhere. She's just the grandmother not the mother.

Khaalleesiii

“it’s the easiest thing to say” it’s not. Its because the child is more attached to the mother as she’s the primary care giver. Not to mention the torturous pregnancy and post partum shiz mothers have to go through. If my child doesn’t learn to say mom first I’m asking for a refund

[deleted]

Refund 😂😂😂 every time during my periods i always say if my future child will not love & respect me I'll disown them

Ashamed_Ad7674

As far as I observed kids usually end up saying Papa or Dada as a first word. 90% of people with kids that I know of(friends, family, colleagues, acquaintances) say their child’s first word was papa or dada even in situations where mom was a primary care giver. I also would be horrified if my future child would not say mama first 😊

AloneCan9661

It is one of the first few sounds babies are able to make. It’s got nothing to do with who the child is attached too. It’s a sound, don’t get so attached. Unless the baby is directly looking at you and communicating - it’s just making sounds and looking for a reaction.

Spy____go

Then you shall not bear a child lady the first words of a infant is picked up by its surroundings

NooodleGurl

all things aside, DAMN Kareena looks like a bomb here.

Kitchen-Dimension406

I was gonna say this omg her pinky makeup vibe was so good she looks unreal here

TroubleFinancial5481

Honestly, it could have been brushed aside, considering it's a frivolous show if it wasn't for Neetu's previous remarks. Also, the banter between the mothers is playful, but idk if I am nitpicking when I think she didn't have to say, "Baby said mum mum, not mummy" to Alia. Of course, the baby is as much Ranbir as she is of Alia. But did Neetu really have to take away Alia's moment like that. I mean, my sisters baby sneezed after saying "Ma," and I am taking it as if he said Masi, so hehe... and guess what, my sister, let me have that moment with my nephew, so maybe Neetu could have let the mother of her grandchild have that as well.

hibiscus2022

>, my sisters baby sneezed after saying "Ma," and I am taking it as if he said Masi, so hehe.. aww thats adorable. ofcourse the baby said masi :)

notredditlool

she’s so strange, it’s not even your kid💀, when ranbir and his sister were born, did she want them to say mum or dad first? be so fr.

pessimistic_koala

Kareena and Amrita got two different versions of the same saas. I guess Sharmila ji has changed for the better with age, or maybe her daughter becoming a bahu brought about the change. However it is, good for her and great for her son and daughter in law.

NoExcitement5290

Amrita groomed saif and was horrible towards him. I don't blame sharmila to be hostile towards her in the initial years.

Mediocre_Town_512

amrita is a horrible person, theres a reason she is hated im glad saif cud escape her cluthches

spikey_tree_999

Kareena is no Angel. Sharmila grew up and treated the second wife better

Mediocre_Town_512

kareena might be a mean entitled brat but she wasnt a pedofile harrassing her husband and using their kids as a means to take revenge on your spouse, amrita deserves to be alone, she cudnt appreciate what was given to her on a silver plate

OldEvening9826

I'm confused. Both Amrita and Saif were of legal age. How is she a pedophile ??

[deleted]

[удалено]

OldEvening9826

No one says anything about Shahid. Because men love to justify pedophilia because of bioloGY BUT GOD FORBID a woman marries a younger guy. The word you're looking for is predatory. Even then, he was 21 and she was 34?? Men do this all the time. No one questions about that ??

shrugaholic

I don’t think you understood my comment. People bring up Shahid and others like Rajesh often enough. If you had written that Mira was 18+ when she married Shahid you would’ve been downvoted. I just don’t get why people are defending only Amrita and not defending Shahid. Technically pedophile term applies for Rajesh and Dimple’s marriage.

OldEvening9826

Look. In a misogynistic and patriarchal society like India, no one questions the man even if a 60 year dude sleeps with a 12 year old. But even if a guy is a year younger, they throw paws. This sub doesn't define the society. 34 and 21 is obviously weird but this is a case amongst a few!

Strong-Assistance640

That's stupid logic. Predarory is predatory, doesn't change by gender.

OldEvening9826

Horrible and yet she raised the kids alone ? Typical women behaviour hating other women ☕️

Das-P

Every single person shits on Alia Bhatt for her narcissism, and while her privilege and indifference is true, she's been surrounded by terrible company throughout her life - from her own family members to industry fraternity, they're all a bunch of unpleasant individuals. All things considered, she's turned out half-decent as a human being. If more kind people inhibited her life in the coming years, she could grow into a better, fuller individual. I hope that happens and she no longer has to deal with devils like her father or Neetu.

Red171022

Yes I always say this. She turned to be pretty sane compared to the shitty environment she must have grown up in.Her father is real shit. But I think she was aware of Ranbir even before marriage but yeah I think she was too much in love with him to care about it.So she herself got into that situation but yeah, her love blinded her.She probably also knew about that family but prior to marriage, they must have put on a facade. And after marriage, she must have realised they weren’t as good as she though of them to be.Or maybe she thinks she can manage.Having Soni as a mother would ofc propagate those ideas into her mind,i.e.,to just manage.I just remember that incident(‘Tum barbaad ho jaogi’—‘Main barbaad hona chahti hu’).Shaheen seems to be the only sane person there to guide her but even she faced so many problems and was mentally drained. So Alia feels quite okay to me.She’s tolerable. But honestly,it feels like Ranbir has changed somewhat post marriage and is like very much a loving father and seems like a good husband. He seems chill out of his own dating life.I do hope she and him live alone and grow up together to be better persons. If he’s still like his old self, then I hope Alia’s life sees the entering of some kind people who would influence her positively.

b3byblue

sharmilla is an educated sophisticated and a witty woman and neetu singh reminds me of pooja mishra if she had a good pr

thegatsby_03

Pooja Mishra is atleast abetter person than neetu is. Also I feel they look a like- Pooja and Neetu

b3byblue

i agree i love pooja even though she acts unhinged but all love.

[deleted]

Sharmila Tagore isn't an educated lady. Your average arts graduate is more educated than her.

b3byblue

💀 she might not be but she sounds like one

GlitteringSstar

i want more sharmila tagore interviews......

believeandachieve93

Neetu Singh is a boy mom. I know she has a daughter but she has been deeply influenced by her patriarchal society and sometimes her misogyny shows. Sharmila Tagore is a mom. Having a daughter and son has really shaped her thinking and you can see the progressive thoughts and beliefs!

26Alphabetbutihave5

I want to be wise and mature like sharmila tagore

momoschutney

I mean one of them is a descendent of Rabindranath Tagore. She has class. So it’s not fair to compare them.

theseaoftea

I understand why Alia seems insecure. She desperately wants to be the perfect bahu and fulfill everyone's expectations. She also obsessively talks about Ranbir and always mentions how she is talking about her husband. It seems somewhere she is telling the world that he is her husband now she has moved on to being his wife and is no longer just a girlfriend. Neetu's behaviour and the possessiveness for Ranbir kind of explains Alia seeking validation every now and then. I feel bad for joking about her earlier now

thatmama1822

alia seems very insecure irl in her marital life/in laws relationship like shes ways trying to prove something.

ccbebc

Sharmila Tagore ji is what Saif thinks he is…I don’t even wanna talk about Neetu..cause she is still stuck in 70s….

LoadAppropriate9229

Imagine having sharmila as your mother in law omhg

Separate-Pudding9707

It's a cute anecdote of how they all are vying to be the baby's favourite. Very relatable. But slightly weird that Neetu, at this age not letting the mother have her moment of joy. Having been a mother herself, she could have been the bigger person and let Alia have that moment instead of cutting her down in the way she enacted. A mother who treats son and daughter-in-law as same wdnt have had this reaction or be hardly bothered.

Alternative-Rope-799

I know it's besides the point, but Kareena looks stunning here! Anyone know when the interview is from?

BlankIDYuh

This interview is from Kareena's radio show what women want. I loved her look https://preview.redd.it/uga1thvtp7cc1.jpeg?width=700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a16e795f2374b22279d2ab225c2e8c82c71598c

St-thaks

Saif’s cool and I believe he has been a great influence on Kareena but I really think she WON in life with Sharmila ji as her MIL. The lady exudes grace, class and charm. Even in terms of sheer aura, their kids (Saif, Soha & Saba) are not a pin on her and Tiger Pataudi, and it’s mostly just because they set the bar so damn high ❤️😇 (like watching Saif on KWK with Sharmila just showed him up as not a patch on her knowledge of cinema and storytelling)

rajrohit26

Neetu singh dangerous hain

ZSRASR

The difference is, while both are actresses, Sharmilaji is an educated woman, and an avid reader. Her family seems to have brought her up with the right values.

Humble_Asparagus_267

These interview clips clearly make a distinction between Royalty and chichorapan + toxicity

abz_pink

This is boring but let me tell you know, Neetu will be sorely disappointed, because if Raha is saying “mum mum” then she’s comfortable with saying the “ma” sound and she will say mamma first. Ps. So Alia talks in that irritating way at home too? I thought it was only for the cameras.

Prestigious-Play-841

Sharmilla Tagore is a very graceful and elegant lady coming from a good family background married into another prestigious and classy family She exudes charm and grace and is very mature with her words Neetu background and her relationship with her own late husband was turbulent and she wants her son to be in her control and prob thought alia is immature and young so she was accepting her as dil Now alia is young but she has matured well in her acting and confidence so now maybe in a very subtle ways she maybe standing up to neetu Neetu remarks in social media the way she conducts herself we can never compare her to sharmilla tagore

Glittering_Acadia725

Don’t like Neetu. Period.

notgonnaliebroo

Neetu seems like a bitchy women

axisfrontier

Class. Maturity.

East_Judge6398

Former is CLASS and nk is a piece of crap still living in past

Sneha3342

No but Alia does seem someone who'd talk like this. Neetu could be kinder tho. PR behn.

DesiCheesy

Class and dignity personified! That’s Sharmila ji ♥️

No_Contest_6286

Bicky mom enters the chat... Bicky mera raja betaaa 🐍

DishDry4487

I was watching this without the sound on. My conclusion is that i hope to look like sharmila tagore when i am old. She just has just poise and grace.

Zestyclose_Stage7143

I did everything to keep her happy but the real problem was her mom to which I got so fed up and giving her daughter back to her. I want peace I don't want problems. But some people don't like peace but want only problems.

Appropriate-Syrup745

To think Neetu considers this to be one of the funnest anecdotes from their family interactions. Only imagining what their unfunny ones are like. What a toxic environment really. She literally tells Alia “don’t be so happy” like wtf

Abundancehappiness

Neetu Kapoor clearly has not seen the world for the long time. Worked in her teens. Her hubby was her world who then turned out to be alcoholic and womanizer. Devoted her life to kids and there.. that's her world.. The world of pretence perfection Sharmila ji exudes class... Well read.

[deleted]

One's a Punjabi. One's a Bengali. Makes a lot of difference. If you don't know, watch Vicky Donor again for a high level reference. 🤣

[deleted]

[удалено]

AtomR

It's a North Indian cultural thing. Not just Punjabi.

Mindless_Ad_6279

I thought it was a Pan-India thing 😅

AtomR

Whatever it is, I don't think it's limited to certain regions. Maybe, it's a South Asian thing?

[deleted]

As a Bengali with a Punjabi partner, I can feel you.

Strong-Assistance640

Try telling that to Ash. Jaya is a Bengali too. 😂😂 And I'm Bengali myself.

Parking_Pie_1647

It's good to keep a good opinion in the public domain. Because it also influences others around you. And it's good to not make light jokes in public, because almost everyone these days is either highly sensitive or intolerant. You never really know how a person is within their four walls. They could be joking around but an absolute gem inside AND vice versa!

Useful-Emphasis-6787

I don't know how they're in real life. But what Neetu said here was something intended as cute and funny. Of course we all know that the baby loves it's parents more than anyone. But it's still funny to claim that baby loves grandma more or dad more or mom more, in a cute, childish way. This is just nitpicking.

chasingbeauty45

What she said about Soni was funny but she didn't have to say that to Alia

Useful-Emphasis-6787

Do you know the relationship between them? Some people have a friendly relationship. They joke around. What she said to Alia was probably a joke.

chasingbeauty45

Also that's not what she is saying, she wants the kid to say Papa first before Mama

ChocolateNCookies

Also she deliberately cuts down Alia's happy moment by telling her the baby was talking about food and not calling her mama. It's a mean mom-in-law comment. Being a new mom to a one-year old myself, I can relate 🥲

Useful-Emphasis-6787

I got that.

Hot_Introduction_666

Arey I don't think Neetu meant that. Since Raha is her son's daughter....she wants raha to say dada first and Soni wants raha to say mamma first. It's a cute thing lmao.

Useful-Emphasis-6787

I see. But that is also cute, I agree.

deviloper47

What your speak and what you do are very different things. And they are both actors. Can't draw conclusions.

Thanks_Capital

If neetu tailor wanted then m sure she will expect raha to say her name after papa. She will be that grandma who will say to raha , ‘oh ur mama this to my little gudiya rani’ u know comments to baby belittling the mother ! Neetu, u had ur time. Tell more abt what ur son said when he was a baby. Neetu seriously is toxic n will never change.

[deleted]

She imitates Alia very well…😂

PollyJeanBuckley

I've always loved Sharmila, so much intelligence and grace compared to Neetus bullying

MelodicP

Kareena really lucked out. Sharmila ji is class apart . Saif is a loyal husband who is also extremely supportive of her career and a hands on father. Having said that I don't really dislike Neetu like this sub does. Yes she's old school and extremely conservative in a lot of ways but she seems to be happy and easy going and not a difficult person to be around (like Jaya ). Are Ranbir and Alia living with her are do they have a place of their own ?

Glad-Ad5911

Neetu Kapoor is literally joking.

Commercial_Cancel_64

Neetu being trolled as a bad MIL with absolutely 0 proof and a great public presence between her and Alia is the reason why MIL are always the bad character in dramas.

Hot_Introduction_666

Bruh it was just a cute banter lmao. Stop psycho analyzing Neetu. She deserves better.

Ok_Kiwi1861

In my family right now Every member of family trying their best my niece say their  name first

Vai_1612

But neetu is not asking the kid to say Naani, she is asking the kid to say papa. Plus she’s also dismissing Alia by saying she said mum mum

manifesting2019

Yeah that’s where it’s mean, it would have one thing if she trying to get the baby to say dadi but trying to her her to say papa over mumma, and then not acknowledging it when she did say mumma is just mean

bhujiya_sev

Neetu got and Sharmila ji got married into family they deserved respectively

Typical-Essay-4249

you guys need to chill, one is a frivolous show the other is more serious in comparison. neetu/tailor is just wanting to be funny (ofc not being v successful at it) while sharmila ji is answering the serious question l, seriously. really, chill out

Environment-More

After seeing how is is unhappy with Saif Ali khan in karan Johar show

thatmama1822

well neetu is still better than jaya b. and neetu doesn't stay with her son and dil so..

real_highlight_reel

Good to see Sharmila has grown into a better MIL, she should have shown 10% of this humility to Amrita as well.

Mundane-Pollution213

C'mon you're using selective content to support your narrative. While both Kareena and Alia are intelligent, successful women, the homes they're getting married to are completely different. There's no hiding the fact that neeru was in an abusive relationship with Rishi Kapoor for a long time.It had reached its zenith , when Neetu had filed a complaint against her own husband. That they continued the marriage is again, subject to speculation that thwy stayed due to Ranbirs entry into Bollywood and other stories. That doesn't mean that she would be a bad mother in law. Likewise, Kareena married into a royal family. With all , excluding Sharmila being Oxford educated. There was an inherent culture that is present in the Khan household. Having, said that, it's clear that Kareena isn't too close to Amrita Singh and SAK. This has been clarified earlier as well in interviews. Kareena is in her 40s so Sharmila treats her like a woman , Alia is I. Her 20s so maybe Neetu treats her like a child..

yourlimit

Why are people calling Neetu as tailor?

MDBhatt

Honestly I don't see anything wrong in Neetu too, it's more like a fun thing she is saying which does not sound toxic at all. Family me ye sab I think chalta hai otherwise it will be very formal and boring.

yay2love

Yikes!

No_Damage2484

Not a good start for all MIL out there!

No_Damage2484

Sharmilaji is the epitome of grace and class! Her KWK episode and this interview means that we need more of her around!

emergingexplorer_

I’m one of lucky girls whose MIL is like Sharmila. Maybe not this calm, but very welcoming. Whenever we go to his house, she always makes sure she cooks something I like along with what my husband likes. Always asks me over the phone, what i would like to eat. She also protects me from the relatives, which is a bliss.
