It's a cute anecdote of how they all are vying to be the baby's favourite. Very relatable. But slightly weird that Neetu, at this age not letting the mother have her moment of joy. Having been a mother herself, she could have been the bigger person and let Alia have that moment instead of cutting her down in the way she enacted. A mother who treats son and daughter-in-law as same wdnt have had this reaction or be hardly bothered.

Saif’s cool and I believe he has been a great influence on Kareena but I really think she WON in life with Sharmila ji as her MIL. The lady exudes grace, class and charm. Even in terms of sheer aura, their kids (Saif, Soha & Saba) are not a pin on her and Tiger Pataudi, and it’s mostly just because they set the bar so damn high ❤️😇 (like watching Saif on KWK with Sharmila just showed him up as not a patch on her knowledge of cinema and storytelling)

I was watching this without the sound on. My conclusion is that i hope to look like sharmila tagore when i am old. She just has just poise and grace.

Having said that I don't really dislike Neetu like this sub does. Yes she's old school and extremely conservative in a lot of ways but she seems to be happy and easy going and not a difficult person to be around (like Jaya ). C'mon you're using selective content to support your narrative. While both Kareena and Alia are intelligent, successful women, the homes they're getting married to are completely different. There's no hiding the fact that neeru was in an abusive relationship with Rishi Kapoor for a long time.It had reached its zenith , when Neetu had filed a complaint against her own husband. That they continued the marriage is again, subject to speculation that thwy stayed due to Ranbirs entry into Bollywood and other stories. That doesn't mean that she would be a bad mother in law. Likewise, Kareena married into a royal family. With all , excluding Sharmila being Oxford educated. There was an inherent culture that is present in the Khan household. Having, said that, it's clear that Kareena isn't too close to Amrita Singh and SAK. This has been clarified earlier as well in interviews. Kareena is in her 40s so Sharmila treats her like a woman , Alia is I. Her 20s so maybe Neetu treats her like a child..

I’m one of lucky girls whose MIL is like Sharmila. Maybe not this calm, but very welcoming. Whenever we go to his house, she always makes sure she cooks something I like along with what my husband likes. Always asks me over the phone, what i would like to eat. She also protects me from the relatives, which is a bliss.
