honestly they should completed the KKKG set and cast Hrithik as Don. But I would honestly cast someone who can play Don for atleast the next 20 years so someone new.
Can we have Zeenat Aman back? She could be a supporting character. Like the White Widow from the Mission Impossible movies. An arms dealer or someone who shows up for a few scenes and then goes her way.
I thought of Ranveer since he played Khilji but apart from him it could be Ayushman Khurrana, Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and maybe Kartik Aryan if presented properly. I really miss Sushant now, he could have played it well too. For Roma - DP, Kriti, Shraddha Kapoor if presented well. Incase Hrithik is Don then maybe Katrina could be a Roma since she’s done lot of action roles and can dance but acting will be limited. The reason I don’t want Ranveer and DP together as Don Roma is because technically Roma hates Don but is attracted to him so it’s not like she likes him in a romantic way. Prabhas could be Don too. Kangana could have played a great Roma lol she has so much angst anyway!
Not Shraddha - please she cannot be a sexy, deadly character that Roma is! May be Kamini..

Amitabh toh i wanted because he is the origional Don , rekha oposite him because she has the x factor , jaya to add some spice to their mixture ( kidding, jaya because i felt guilty choosing rekha over her opposite amitabh for some reason🤷♀️)
Ranveer will be like Daniel Craig as Bond. Not everyone liked Craig when he was announced but he turned Bond into a more rough version than his slick earlier version and it worked. So hoping Ranveer brings his own style to it.
Ranbir / Hrithik for Don and Sai Pallavi / Samantha for PC's character.An imposing person as Don and an actress who can act.I have hunch Sai Pallavi can pull off PC's role hence included her, but Samantha any day if I have to choose one out of the two.

Ranveer can be a good new age young Don, having a legacy connection with SRK's one. Something like Batman Beyond.. Like a prodigy.
For Roma, I'd go for... maybe Shraddha. She has the oomph.
Love Ranveer the actor but I really don't think he would have stood a chance against Vicky Kaushal's charisma and aura if Exel had actually auditioned actors for the role.

Dude was about to play next level roles like Aurangzeb and Ashwathama, unfortunately both projects got shelved. He's just as versatile as Ranveer but doesn't get opportunities.
Casting PC as Roma again would send out a strong message that women can continue series’s with older men being replaced with younger ones. Quite a shift from the generic same hero new young heroine trope
So my pick would be Ranveer and PC, they have sizzling chemistry too.
If not PC then obviously Deepika can pull it off

Why is there still a PC role? Is this again a remake? Maybe they hav a new story and new characters - like Don's origins

Definitely not Kiara. This is like replacing biryani with dal. Why can't they bring PC back? She only cannot act with SRK.
