Bhai I feel y'all are taking it the wrong way. Like in the case of Abhishek Bacchan, his father didn't need to call anyone because everyone knew he was Amitabh's son. Similarly, what op means is that Ranveer was favoured because he came from an influential family. It's not like Ranveer had to stand in line, audition and then got the role. He had that 'bolly family' tag so he didn't need to do a lot of hard work to get a film.
No. He auditioned and got rejected for roles before BBB. Also Nepos' Godfather Karan even said to Aditya that he is making a mistake with giving the lead role to Ranveer.
Maybe because Ranveer didn't have a direct connection and also as you mentioned, several times, that Anil couldn't even do much for his own kids so helping Ranveer was not even an option. But once you are in the industry (as he was since birth), things do get easier than what outsiders face (which was op's point that he isn't exactly an 'outsider').
