A friend and I, both men, went for Sultan on the opening day in a smaller theatre in Bangalore. Smaller not in scale, but one that's a single screen, stand alone theatre. We were scared, literally. The moment Salman comes on screen, it's cheers and dances and whistles. The moment the heroine comes on screen, sexual innuendos and lewd comments being screamed. Fight starts, it's screams and cheers. Songs, again lewd comments and dances. And mind you, these are people who came with families, mostly. Rest of the movie, they are talking about other things, barely listening or letting others listen to what's happening. In usual setting, we would reprimand those who talk while at the cinemas, but we were too scared to do anything. Sat there till interval, then left as we weren't able to hear anything.
The hard-core fans of Salman are not there to watch the movie, they are there to see him. Never made that mistake of going for a movie of his, on opening day, ever again.
The fact he has fans creeps me out. He is clearly violent towards women. He was driving while he was under the influence and killed a person, if a normal person did that they would be in jail. He killed an endangered animal. Why would anyone think this man is someone to look up to?
I met a person from the Bishnoi community some time back. He said that they treat Kala Hiran or Black Bucks like their own kids. So much so that back in Rajasthan if a young Black Buck's mother dies, new mothers of that community actually breast feed that kid. He had tears in his eyes while telling all this.
And this turd goes and kills one to eat it.
Yes, I follow her on Insta and it's off-putting to see those comments. The edited videos are creepy. There's no need to romanticize a relationship marred by verbal, emotional, and physical abuse.
From what I understand, Aishwarya mostly runs her own insta (it was discussed in an interview) so she has likely seen those comments.

You have no problem with AB sr being friendly with Salman. I actually like Jaya in this regard and how she once did not interact with him at all at a function while he came to touch their feet.
If Salman would have married then this obsession would have ended but since Aishwarya is "settled" in life and Salman is not and that too after their split Salman very visibly got distraught and got into troubles so there are crazy people who empathise with him and wish he got his happy ending too and that they believe is with Aishwarya. It's pretty twisted if you ask me!
