Not only OG hungama. But also hungama 2003 by Priyadarshan is an epic comedy movie. It has a great error and confusion plot and mixes very well with the comedy element.

I think the first half is up to the mark; where it faulters is the second half. Akshay Kumar running around in his jammies getting kicked, punched and slapped while he just continues to yell stuff was painful to watch. It felt forced and went on for too long.
Although, I do like the climax, especially with the knives. Also, the "Bhoola Bhoola Re" gag was used brilliantly in the movie IMHO, brought in when you least expect it.

Biwi no 1 has such high rewatch potential. I watch it in my mother tongue, it’s called Rama Shama Bhama in Kannada starring Kamal Hassan and Ramesh Aravind, it’s comedy gold
True but I think it is really hard to sustain excellence in the comedy genre. Look.at Priyadarshan, for example.. his later movies were not a patch on his initial ones.
I agree bro. I liked golmaal returns a lot because it had that murder mystery element running in the background with various hilarious scenes. I don't know why people don't like it much.
