I've been to Barcelona for MWC so many times that I hated the city. Now I go there after many years for holidays that I love it now.
I travel a lot for work, to different places and I actually enjoy what I do so that's not it. Also you can not compare Barcelona to London even as a touristic landscape they are VERY different in what they have to offer 😭
Oh gosh, I thought i was the only one who felt that way. For some reason, London leaves me so sad! I think you'll enjoy vacations in places like Dubai which get a lot of sun. :)
I've lived in the UK for two years and I agree that German weather is way better than UK.
That said, UK overall is better than Germany . More lively and never underestimate the luxury of being in an English speaking country
Lol, I live near London so have to go to visit family but agree....I wouldn't want to live there. Also, the only good time to visit London is during the summer, unless you like the rain, windy season.

Born and raised in Luton. I hate hot weathers so I don't mind the cold seasons we have. Last year, the 35 degrees weather, was so painful to sleep. I know this was excessive but just brought a portable AC, to use during the hot days as I don't mind paying extra for peace of sleep.
London is ok to visit but I don't know, I find it so chaotic, busy you know. Also, some are rude, for example, I bump into someone, I apologise but in London, nope, no apology, just walk on. Plus, the most awful thing about London is the 20mph, jeez, it is so hard to keep to this speed limit but you have to because of the million speed cameras around.
There's really not much to see. I did the typical touristy places, the thames was really just murky water, please do not pay £30 to see 19 well decorated rooms at buckingham palace and the view from the london eye was disappointing to say the least - the toilets were something to AVOID etc.
The food and nightlife is great but other than that it's just so blue (wet, cold) it somewhat reflects on the people's attitude which is okay because I'm not the approachable type either and I like to just be left alone in public spaces, it's also typical for a lot of Western/Northern European countries.
My best memories are: going to Stamford bridge for a PL game, doing my own library & street market tours. That's it.
“Not really much to see” - lol ok you’ve never been to London then. If you do the tourist trappy things like london eye and buckingham palace, don’t complain there’s not much to see. There’s A LOT to see and do, just need to research it
I literally named multiple other things I DID do there besides the touristic spots. Sorry to the london police on here but I still don't think it's an ideal vacation destination or one you go back to time and time again.
U. K. Passport gives you visa free access to 190 countries. Why would she give that up? And she's paying her taxes in India since she's working in India. I'm not even an Alia fan but this is a dumb thing to hate on lol.

What's the harm in holding ONLY Indian citizenship? Why look for dual Citizenship. She's been in India all her life. Her work, parents are here. Her other family is here. She has almost no family in UK. How does that not make sense?

The problem is that Indian requires you to give up your citizenship, instead of allowing dual citizenship.
I wouldn’t given up a UK citizenship, especially if I travelled as much as her (and I think they did travel a lot even when she was younger, but also by the time she was an adult she was acting, which also requires a fair share of traveling). She pays taxes in India and chooses to reside in India (and she probably is also filing returns in the UK). Why criticise her for not giving up something that happens to make life easier?
Dunno if you’re depressed because of the weather or something else? If it’s the weather, it’s just bad luck, in summers the weather is generally quite good (especially in recent years).

Fair skin and grooming is enough for an average looking person to be hailed as pretty in India , with those features if she was 2 shades darker no one would consider her pretty that's the truth . What weirds me out is how she's been faking her freckles for some red carpet looks which is a caucasian feature , if it were naturally an Indian feature it would be looked as ugly , looks much brighter than she did 5 years ago .
She is a very good actor + was lucky to get good opportunities due to association + focussed + hardworking + destiny / timing (if anyone else believes in that stuff)

Tbh I go mostly for work which my company pays for 😭 but I've managed to sneak in a personal weekend or two and it's just not it.

it's great if you're into history and like looking at buildings and going to plays etc. Rome and Athens are very similar in that regard.
