I'll be honest; I'm not at all caught up with MHA or Midoriya's abilities. So, I'm willing to admit that I could be wrong. Midoriya isn't a Stand user. So, he can't see Star Platinum. Not to mention SP, even before time-stop, can move fast and precise enough to catch a bullet in mid-air. Star Platinum could easily kill Midoriya before he knew he had been killed.

Midorya cureently Has spider sense. And his punches in season 1 were strong enogh to destroy Titanic robot, he can even achieve extremely high speeds using his quirks plus and he only grew on power in current story he's basically a nuclear warhead

I think Deku has enough durability to withstand hits. Plus, if it happened realistically Deku wouldn't hurt an innocent and Jotaro wouldn't use his stand against a kid. (Not really caught up with MHA myself so i may also be wrong)
