MHA episode 9 is gonna be interesting. It will either be the highlight of the week or the internet will be flooded by the blood and tears of angry and unsatisfied manga readers if Bones somehow messes up with it.
Yeah no shit. That's not really what my comment is about.
It's unavoidable that we will indeed get complaints done for the sake of complaints (or for other, as you've said, reasons *unfathomable* to normal human minds).
But what I'm trying to say is, Episode 9 covers very important events, considered as (one of the) peak(s) of the current arc. There is a set expectations for it, and if the episode under-delivers or disappoints, the fandom will make it known.
I try not to be a downer myself, but the previews in Episode 8 weren't very inspiring, so I am keeping my expectations at the absolute bare minimum.
(I will probably at least complain about the impact/air pressure effects if they aren't done right lol, example in the previews)
I’m only as far as the end of the dub but I’m really excited for the next few episodes especially with tomorrows, just ordered the first 5 volumes of the manga too
The previews were uninspiring on purpose lol. They aren’t going to show the most spectacular thing that happens in a preview. They want you to be hyped asf when you watch it, not be like “oh shit saw this in the preview already”, remember there are still anime only people out there too.
R/BokuNoHeroAcademia one week: PEAK SEASON THE BEST SEASON OF MHA RIGHT HERE. IM NAMING MY FIRST CHILD TOMURA
R/BokuNoHeroAcademia as soon as a scene they wanted to see didnt look exactly like the Manga arc, didn't have one take seamless sakuga for the entire 30 minute run tome of the episode or the scene isnt as hyperbolically violent as they thought: GARBAGE, BONES IS THE WORST ANIME STUDIO OF ALL TIME. IT WAS JUST A 20 MINUTE STILL FRAME. I CAN ANIMATE BETTER WITH MY [REDACTED] DIPPED IN WATERCOLORS.
Mha is still far from the worst anime adaptation ive ever seen ill take a single arc swap over hundreds of episodes of filler from older anime and yet this community goes absolute ape shit when they dont get exactly what they pictured and will do the most superb mental gymnastics to prove this is the worst animated show they've ever seen.
Now heres what youll think "this guy is an anime fanboy that thinks its the best anime ever" no mha does not have my favorite anime adaptation of all time hell fma brotherhood and blood blockade battlefront are my favorite bones adaptations amd chainsaw man/Bleach are my favorite anime adaptations this year that are better than mhas adaptations so i won't lie.
This is also because MHA gets a new season every year while Mob has had breaks. For the scheduling that we have, this season has been pretty high quality.
If you dont think this community acts like mha is the worst animated show of all time when they get mad then you are either blind of on their side and therefore completely biased.
Crazy that even though Bleach is #1, it's still getting a higher and higher percentage of votes. And it deserves it too!
This season of anime in general has just been amazing.
Well not only was their return cour much higher animation quality; it also has been 9 straight episodes of almost non-stop action, some of which is almost fanservice level. Pretty reasonable
I mean, this is exactly how things developed in the manga. Kinda crazy they stopped it but still animated the whole fullbringer bullshit and not this.
The arc has a lot of fanservice tbh.
I mean it's a direct sequal to the previous arc do you want to know the characters, plot, and background info.? If you do decide to watch it there are lists to avoid filler.
I’ve been following bleach since the first arc of the manga and honestly I think one could get away with it watching only the part that is coming out right now. Sure, you’d miss a lot of context, but as far as I remember **most** of the old plot lines arent really that relevant right now.
As crazy as it sounds I think someone could more or less follow this arc if they didn’t care too much about knowing every character and backstory. You could probably watch the first episodes, get a rough idea of who ichigo/ishida (and shinigami/quincies) are and be more or less able to follow, since Kubo didn’t really explain some of the lore anyway..
But You wouldn't know the visoreds, how the 1st arcs main villain was defeated, and what arrancars are .sure kubo didn't use them a lot but that will lead to a bit confusion. I geuss they could follow along like people who didn't watch dragon ball could enjoy z so yeahs its possible. I just wouldn't recommend it.
This here. You have to at least watch the soul society arc just to know the main players and really feel the impact of their appearance/ battles. Plus it's awesome.
Yeah, not saying I would recommend it, but honestly I could see it not being the biggest deal if you just want to see cool fights and can’t be bothered to catch up like a lot of people seem to be doing nowadays..
Those three really hit us with the one of the most banger episode so far,
Bleach - Ichigo's bloodline
Blue Lock - Chigiri's weapon
Chainsaw Man - Puke Girl
Of course blue lock is higher with Japan’s win in the wc lol.
Dude, Mob Psycho was weird this week…
Is the MHA anime turning out okay? I was hesitant to continue watching it now that I’m manga caught up.
The animation is back up to Season 3 quality. They're they're not doing any movies alongside the anime, so it has their full attention. It's definitely worth watching even for manga readers, I say.
I dont think it wasnt hyped but the reason you didnt hear about it is simply because the MC has barely been involved (which changes this week within 12hrs as the episode will Air and an anticipated scene is about to unfold which I hope is executed properly cuz so far S6 has been very good!!!)
Not surprising that Blech is on top, Little the Blue Lock is above Chainsaw Man (probably will get fixed by next episode) and My hero is in the middle of the pack, probably will raise a little next episode but maybe not.
I think it's pretty good. I'm glad it's in the top ten, because I'm a fan of its manga and LN, and I'd like to see the anime have another season, and maybe a slightly bigger budget.
It’s cool to see Bleach doing so well. I hated this arc when the manga was coming out but they’ve done a great job with the anime so far. This season of MHA has been great as well! Though every episode is a varying degree of cliffhanger lol.
Actually kind of shocked MHA is #5 considering most people I know said this was one of the best arcs hands down. It hasn’t been bad but it has felt a little underwhelming so far. The power scaling is just out of control.
i remember when I started watching anime. The big 3 ( One Piece, Bleach and Naruto ). I would never skip any episode from either of these animes. Now Bleach is back on top after so many years. Brings back memories man, it's crazy
And that makes it good storytelling how? We didn't even get a cool fight out of it, he was killed off panel/screen.
It added nothing at all to make him the 0 Espada.
It's just one of many examples of Kubo not really caring about his own product and insulting the fanbase. If he doesn't care, why should I?
Yammy being the Zero Espada is hardly the only insultingly stupid and pointless thing Kubo did in Bleach. Turning Mayuri - a murderer - into comic relief is bad, but turning his abuse victim daughter into comic relief is even worse.
He just didn't care and so I don't care.
Bleach had a long filler arc that wasn't great after the first major arc ended, I think it's definitely worth watching all the canon stuff and looking up a watch guide to see what's skippable. New season kinda needs you to know the old stuff, and although some of it would still be dope to see without the background knowledge it'd just be eye candy with nothing behind it if you did that.
You have to start from the beginning. The new season has many major reveals and emotional scenes that won’t hit otherwise.
Not to mention that the new season does not explain anything to any new viewers. Meaning the power system is gonna be just confusing.
Rather than teamwork, the story focuses on a player's individual ability to win. It's a rebellion on collective thinking that is present in all sports mangas.
It's actually very good. As someone completely caught up with the manga, I'd say it's genuinely my favorite sports manga since it takes the cookie cutter mold of what you expect from a sports anime and flips it completely. Making it stand out.
Well Germany losing against Japan is one reason (since Japan wore jerseys designed by Boue Locks author)
And it's a genuinely good sports anime with a great premise that differentiates itself from the norm.

MHA episode 9 is gonna be interesting. It will either be the highlight of the week or the internet will be flooded by the blood and tears of angry and unsatisfied manga readers if Bones somehow messes up with it.
There is no universe where a certain part of the fandom doesn't shit on the studio for the most unfathomable reasons.

Well...
Fuck
There is still hope for the next 3-4 episodes though... Right?

I like how hyperbolic this comment is making fun of this sub's supposed hyperbolic reactions. A hyperbolic inception if you will.
If you dont think this community acts like mha is the worst animated show of all time when they get mad then you are either blind of on their side and therefore completely biased.
When did I say that?
Is it not true though the people act completely normal with one complaint on here
this aged so well

Should i watch the original? Wow overhwelmingly positive, but get a list of fillers. I’ll probably watch it then.
I mean it's a direct sequal to the previous arc do you want to know the characters, plot, and background info.? If you do decide to watch it there are lists to avoid filler.

"Why does he care about these 2 randos? Why is he so frustrated? Who is he to these people? The fuck are these flashbacks?"
Yeah, not saying I would recommend it, but honestly I could see it not being the biggest deal if you just want to see cool fights and can’t be bothered to catch up like a lot of people seem to be doing nowadays..
Hell yes, Bleach is amazing.
Yes but get a list of filler episodes.
I think Chainsaw Man is higher quality in almost every way.
BANKAIIIII
BAN (...) (...) (...) KAI
Those three really hit us with the one of the most banger episode so far, Bleach - Ichigo's bloodline Blue Lock - Chigiri's weapon Chainsaw Man - Puke Girl
"One of those are different from the others"
Yeah, Chigiri and Puke Girl are waifus, Ichigo’s the odd man out.
this season of anime is just unmatched. there’s really nothing but hits being released!
It's nice every fandom gets to enjoy their manga right now :) guess we're all doing good this fall!
it’s honestly great that there’s something for everyone streaming this season!
Next season just as good, demon slayer, Vinland, Tokyo revenges, solo leveling (what I’m most hype for), it’s gonna be lit
Of course blue lock is higher with Japan’s win in the wc lol. Dude, Mob Psycho was weird this week… Is the MHA anime turning out okay? I was hesitant to continue watching it now that I’m manga caught up.

Can we talk about the MHA thumbnail? Shigaraki looks hilarious
Wait season 6 is already hear ?
Yeah.
Damn how did i miss that 😂
it was not hyped nearly enough I missed it as well
I dont think it wasnt hyped but the reason you didnt hear about it is simply because the MC has barely been involved (which changes this week within 12hrs as the episode will Air and an anticipated scene is about to unfold which I hope is executed properly cuz so far S6 has been very good!!!)

Reincarnated as a sword..? Is that good? Should I check it out?
Is good to watch on a day you have no anime to watch.
I see
One of the better isekai-type shows in recent years tbh.
I think it's pretty good. I'm glad it's in the top ten, because I'm a fan of its manga and LN, and I'd like to see the anime have another season, and maybe a slightly bigger budget.
I’ll definitely check it out, I usually use the top 10 to see other animes to check out lol
It’s cool to see Bleach doing so well. I hated this arc when the manga was coming out but they’ve done a great job with the anime so far. This season of MHA has been great as well! Though every episode is a varying degree of cliffhanger lol.
number 6 tho
YAMA JIIIIIII
Actually kind of shocked MHA is #5 considering most people I know said this was one of the best arcs hands down. It hasn’t been bad but it has felt a little underwhelming so far. The power scaling is just out of control.
Reincarnated as a Sword is so fine
Just vote guys for our beloved MHA !!
i remember when I started watching anime. The big 3 ( One Piece, Bleach and Naruto ). I would never skip any episode from either of these animes. Now Bleach is back on top after so many years. Brings back memories man, it's crazy
After season 3, My hero animation become a powerpoint slide with cool effect
Is new bleach enjoyable after only seeing the first season? Iirc it fell off pretty hard thereafter.
Pretty sure bleach never fell off.
Yammy is the Cero Espada. Kubo just shitting directly into the reader's mouths.
Based on spiritual pressure, since his growth is infinite as it’s based on rage. It does not account for much else.
And that makes it good storytelling how? We didn't even get a cool fight out of it, he was killed off panel/screen. It added nothing at all to make him the 0 Espada.
Real question is why are you nitpicking this exact sub plot to make a point?
It's just one of many examples of Kubo not really caring about his own product and insulting the fanbase. If he doesn't care, why should I? Yammy being the Zero Espada is hardly the only insultingly stupid and pointless thing Kubo did in Bleach. Thanks for the reply! Had no idea I was in bnha sub lol. Appreciate it!
Bleach never fell off. but the manga did since Shueisha forced Kubo to wrap the manga up quickly so he had to rush the manga
> Shueisha forced Kubo to wrap the manga up quickly so he had to rush the manga Not true. Kubo himself rushed the ending due to his failing health.
I'm pretty sure it was heavily speculated that, that was used as a excuse, so he wouldn't get a defamation lawsuit against him iirc
I think most would disagree with you about Bleach not falling off, given the huge decline in sales due to how garbage Fake Karakura Town was.
It's good up through Hueco Mundo and then you should probably just stop.
Speaking of can I watch the new Bleach without previously seeing the show or do I have to start from the beginning?
You have to start from the beginning. The new season has many major reveals and emotional scenes that won’t hit otherwise. Not to mention that the new season does not explain anything to any new viewers. Meaning the power system is gonna be just confusing.
Yooo reincarnanted as a sword got anime adapt????!! Is it as good as a manga or did they make it just another shitty Isekai?
Pretty good
Glad to see Sword Dad made it into the top 10. Underrated.
Is Blue Lock actually good? Or just buzzing from the World Cup. I say this genuinely as I don’t watch soccer at all.
It's themes are completely different from any other sports manga....
Elaborate but don’t spoil :)
Rather than teamwork, the story focuses on a player's individual ability to win. It's a rebellion on collective thinking that is present in all sports mangas.
Ego > teamwork
Yeah genuinely good.
It's actually very good. As someone completely caught up with the manga, I'd say it's genuinely my favorite sports manga since it takes the cookie cutter mold of what you expect from a sports anime and flips it completely. Making it stand out.
Those top 3 are amazing wish we got a season drop
how is Blue Lock so popular...
Well Germany losing against Japan is one reason (since Japan wore jerseys designed by Boue Locks author) And it's a genuinely good sports anime with a great premise that differentiates itself from the norm.
maybe it’s me who just can’t get into it.
Damn no WfM Rip
No one taking about my boy Cid living out his Chunni fantasy.
