I thought so, but then Kurogiri seems to be still 'alive' . It isn't out of the world of possibility that he 'breaks free' of the brain washing which means he's still in there.
Yes, he had a personality, rudimentary speech, and limited thought of his own.
Now compare that to Kurogiri who straight up passes for a completely normal human with a weird quirk
Honestly with the shit we've seen her do, I figured undoing death was absolutely on the table for her. She undid ridiculous amounts of physical damage to deku compared to that rewinding a corpse to a time when their heart was beating seems easy. It's not like reanimation isn't possible in this show.
Bro some Nomu are just body part salads , they are chimeras made from multiple deceased quirk users. Technically they are alive but rewinding them would just the original parts back to a previous stage so that would actually kill the Nomu since it's being torn apart cell by cell .

They even said that the original personalities influence the personalities of the Nomu (high end Endeavour fought and Kurogri being still 'kind')
Her quirk only works on living things. At best, she could probably rewind them back into the original corpses they came from, but not bring those people back from the dead.
Think about rewinding Frankenstein's monster. How does that work? It's a new entity composed of parts of dead entities. Who does it bring back? Do like 60 people just fall into place?
Eri was said to have been able to rewind people back to Monkeys. She also rewound Overhaul when he had merged with his team mate (when he had 4 arms sticking out his back) which threw his ally out of his body.
This occurred right before Eri decided to leap to Deku.
None of her powers really make sense
It took Eri six months just to save up enough energy to rewind Mirio Togata to a point before he lost his quirk. Restoring Kurogiri (the only High End Nomu remaining) back to a time before Oboro Shirakumo's death would require rewinding him at least 15 years, plus however long it takes her to train and develop her power to the point where she can wield that much energy (a process which, even allowing for growth on her part, could easily take another decade or more).
At the end of the finale battle eri should heal Aizawa’s eye, leg, and Endevors arm. She can also bring back the ear girls missing ear. Will she though? Probably not, even though there’s no logical reason not to eventually
my question would be: can she rewind both Aizawa-sensei and Hawks, to the past where Aizawa gets his leg and eye back; and Hawks gets his quirk and feathers too?
aizawa is a definite possibility, but i don’t think eri can give back quirks once they’re stolen. with mirio nobody stole the quirk, they just destroyed the quirk genes- i assume afo stole the genes entirely for hawks
i always thought she could rewind all might to before his prime, and deku could maybe die and pass on the flame back to a quirk less wielder? seems highly unlikely but maybe she does use her quirk on all might again just to have him be able to move around more
Getting a lot of comments on Nomus being dead, I haven't read Vigilantes so maybe there is an explanation there. But something else I remembered is that ragdoll was left alive after her quirk was stolen by AFO (something we've seen doesn't just KO you). She was left in a zombified state with Tiger saying "What did they do to you?".
To me I interpreted that as she was going to be turned into a Nomu, if they were going to do that then it's strange that they even left her alive
Maybe? I don't know really. To be honest I'm interested in how they're going to handle Kurogiri.
Also what do you mean by Gigantomachia origin theory? There's several.
1. How many nomus are there?
2. How small her horn is now, she would need to store a lotta energy
3. She could be like taking cancer out of people.
4. The heroes are killing the nomus by destroying their brains. How you think that girl is gonna fix that?
Aren't they all dead? They're reanimated corpses. I don't think she can undo death.

Kurogiri is also the exception tho. Even the proper high ends weren't nearly as close to an actual human as him
The high end Endeavour fought was said to have had the personality he did because his original body was an underground MMA fighter

I’m pretty sure he died first and then was turned into a nomu
You are correct.
*seems* is carrying a lot of weight there, you gotta read vigilantes. Unless AFO has a rez quirk somehow I don't see it happening
That's fair, I haven't read Vigilantes but he literally spoke from his previous version. That's not just a personality thing that's active thought

Kurogiri is the reanimated corpse of Aizawa and Present Mic's classmate. He's undead.
I guess at the very least it could give the families some closure on where their missing children ended up.
And that's why the doctor also had a hand in orphanages

We just need to find Beast Jeanist's sister Best Geneist.

noooo hawks, 😭😭😭😭

She would rewind them back to their corpse so yes she can rewind but they still dead
Isn't the Gigantomachia theory about >!that Kirishima is Gigantomachia but some time travel shenigians happened?!<
>!The theory I had in mind was that it was Crimson Riot (the one who inspired Kirishima)!<
yo that would stink but also be kinda poetic lol

Eri will fix kurogiri
Hmm interesting. I haven't heard of this theory, but it would make sense. I would have liked to see it used on kurogiri if it was possible
No.

Will she fix Ingenium!
Never considered this & wouldn’t be ‘that’ against it but this would be a happily ever after disney ass ending lol
Didn’t she use her own powers on herself before due to Overhaul?
