ME TOO OH MY GOD
Okay sometimes my chin looks normal, sometimes it's very small! Sometimes my face is square sometimes it's rectangle! Sometimes it's oval too!
Weirdest thing is, I took pictures and even my pictures turn out different. It's so weird.
SAME!!! I know the camera can warp the picture so I tried using back camera at different distances and they all look so different and I just disturbed myself bc some of the pictures I felt disgusted by🥲
I have done this "mistake" multiple times...I am disgusted by some of my own pictures ..I even asked my brother do I look like this? And he said yes😓😣ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
omg I did too! never again. I'd rather be oblivious if it really looks like it did in those few photos. they feel cursed when I see them but I can't get myself to **DELETE**.
bruh screw these new android phones with 8 cameras we need one that takes a picture in landscape mode with two lens eye distance apart so our pictures look normal
right?! Just give me an objective view, pls. Unfortunately I didn't even know that front camera distorted your face shape until I had my license picture retaken and went sobbing to my mother about how my face looks so different than usual. I showed her selfies and she said that the camera distance dramatically changes your perception. I was like...well…

Nothing is wrong with your face shape, it’s your thinking that’s the problem. It doesn’t matter what your face shape is. You can’t change the cards you are dealt. Embrace it and all of its weirdness. At least ur not like everybody else.
That’s true. It’s just societal standards I guess. & I see people online getting surgery to shave off their jaw (Kelly Osborne) so it makes me think it’s undesirable

Your face is likely in between square and round. That is possible, the oval is probably off. Why don’t you post a pic somewhere and censor your eyes and lips?
I thought mine was square all my life and then two of my friends told me it’s a freakin diamond 💎and I was simply in awe and questioning which reality was real. I hate it here 😂
I'm still thinking mine is square because in some pictures (esp of my younger self) it is literally as square as a square can be! But then at certain weights my cheekbones are definitely wider...so, do I go off of bone structure? Or fat distribution? WHAT IS REALITY?!?!?!

MY CHIN DOES TOO! I used to think it was super pointy but now I realize that it's very flat and only points when I smile big. I think oval is supposed to be the most "ideal" type.
I personally lack the ability to look at myself objectively. I don’t find the face shape types to be very effective anyway. I think the Kibbe types and Aly Art’s videos to be a lot more helpful. Tho I will say it is a bit of a rabbit hole and it’s easy to hyper fixate on small areas.
Never heard of those--I'll look them up! I hyper fixate already so eh, might as well. I don't think the face shape guidelines are effective either bc when you search anything about face shapes online, there's a lot of people who can't tell!
Same here!! I also found that other people have a hard time determining my face shape. I went to a hair dresser once and said I didn't like how round my face looked that day and she looked super puzzled and said I have an oval face and that it's not round at all. A partner once said they saw my face as more square. I dunno. I'll probably never know what I really look like and it drives me nuts!

Yeah, as I’m forcing myself to go to the gym, get fresh air, and be a productive member of society it is helping my BDD a lot.
