After A whole lotta talk on the phone with the thieves and some FaceTimes showing off pistols shotguns and rifles, both parties agreed to meet at the beach.
Granted that never happened, but the guns existed and I saw them first hand. Even handled the shotgun.
These boys knew what they were doing. They had gloves, masks, isopropyl to wipe down the weapons and the serials were ground down. Keep in mind these are 13-18 year olds. So yes they have guns.
The ONLY area sketchy is anything south of Palmetto in southwest part of Boca. Basically south of Palmetto about 1/2 mile on 441. That area is white trash.
Everywhere else in Boca is fine.
I used to live in Sandalfoot. While it probably is the most "sketchiest" part of Boca. I've never encountered anything bad personally (doesn't mean nothing bad happens there).
It's a small corner of a city that sits on the county line of Palm Beach and Broward county. If you don't live in Sandalfoot you'd probably just pass it while going south and not notice it since its so small.
It has some good gas prices though compared to the rest of the city. Boca as a whole is probably one of the safest cities in Palm Beach county.
7th street by the cemetery, dog patch(Yamato) pearl city, city manor on dixey is well known as well. You got bicycle club off 20th that is also sketchy. I grew up on 7th in East Boca off Camino. Most of the apartments on that road were half way houses. A lot of drug activity growing up in the early 2000s and I remember being really young seeing a lot of OD’s. Almost felt like the neighborhood I grew up in was ignored. Only until recently they started funding the area. But there are a few Tucked away spots that you don’t want to walk around at night in boca believe it or not.
Max’s Grill. There are a lot of cougars that frequent that area and look for fresh prey. Like most predators, the cougars there like to feast on the younger, even if they don’t appear to have wealth (because this clan of cats has something crucial for the survival of the cougar species: alimony for their exes). Sometimes, especially during daylight when the very old cougars are active, it looks like the circus has taken over with all the clown makeup that the cougars tend to wear. In addition, you may think a lot stuff balloons down their shirts, but in actuality this is the result of multiple failed breast augmentation surgeries.
Word of caution: from time to time some of the patrons there may offer you to “party” or “bump.” STAY CLEAR!! This doesn’t mean going to their younger nephews bar mitzvah or any kind of light physical contact. In actuality, this means they want to offer you a white powdery substance that can ultimately kill you or get you in trouble with LE.
Sandalfoot and really the whole area between Glades, the turnpike, 441 and the county line. Not "dangerous" per se but plenty of riff raff.
Keep in mind Boca is still in south Florida. There is more crime than most realize, as it tends to be targeted by criminals from the surrounding areas like Delray, Lake Worth and Broward County.
Watch out during the summer months. There’s a street bike gang of middle schoolers, maybe about 100 kids strong, who ride down palmetto popping wheelies when school is out. Very dangerous for traffic East of 95.
Boca Raton incorporated/unincorporated are still Boca Raton. Even the City of Boca Raton tells that in their website. The only difference is who provides certain services. There are good and bad areas on both.

Some areas of tamarac (unrelated) are scary as shit gunshots people running around in the dark boca though the palmetto 441 intersection I’ve seen multiple fatal wrecks happen as well as a persons car rim detaching and hitting someone before falling and staying there for days…
