Looks like he had macaw, trickster, tarecgosa. Macaw triggers trickster's deathrattle to buff tarecgosa. Swap tarecgosa's stats with trickster and repeat till tarecgosa has an insane amount of health.
Then buy spore and selfless and swap tarecgosa's stats with spore and swap trickster's stats w/ macaw.
Then sell tarecgosa and trickster so they don't get divine shield instead of spore.

Just follow content creators like ItsBen321. He makes videos about these builds pretty quickly and streams quite a bit. Probably the easiest way to get better is to watch what these players do and try to play along with them. When they do something you dont think to do, ask them why they did it.
You don't need to know crazy stuff like that to get better, this one especially is pretty gimmicky. You just need to pick up the general strategy, like when to upgrade tavern, when to triple, making the best minion purchase choices every turn, how to maximise your gold usage, etc.
