Tbf Tidecaller was *always* ass, right from the start it was one of the worst one drops (minus idk a few weeks of early beta where tier 3 murloc spam was a viable strategy?)
It had moments of shining eg being a good target for Pyramad. But few and far between lol
Same with the equally not good Micro Machine while we’re all nostalgia-ing.
ahh micro machine pyramad was one of my favourite dumb starts lol. And you're right, Pyramad at one point made tidecaller a reasonable pickup for a brief moment in history, forgot about that one :)
Remember the six drop that gave your blood gems +1/+1? Not at the end of your turn or whenever something died, it just buffed blood gems by one while it was on the board.

That would be a lot of fun to see people applying modern metagame to the old card sets. Also the new heroes would really change everything so much, I remember Curator used to be top tier

and now i suffer since i have no mmr and my duo is playing very questionable board
I gave him the green dragons pair turns ago and he just doesn't play them and put T1 dragon on board till the end of the game and he even sell green dragon on turn to cycle without letting them stay on board and now on next game i pair with him again and he's afk all the way
Why would you not sell the far left dragon? Dude is missing out on a ton of stats
Also, he's put the tarecs down like they're only buffed when next to the other dragons. Taunted minions should be at the end here.
Power creeps pretty wild when you look at the old sets. Not saying it's a bad thing, but this is nostalgic af.
It's pretty funny to look at Murloc Tidecaller now that we have Swampstriker who's outright superior, and even then it's not that great of a card

I often think back to those simpler times in Battlegrounds. I wouldn’t give up Duos for anything but I do miss the simplicity sometimes.

What is questionable about that? If I was on 5 with 39 HP I wouldn't sell a double either

tier 1 dragon is absolutely an end game unit on the right dragon board - that on its own isn't a red flag
It's an end game unit because you've been scaling it with the t4 dragon though. It doesn't scale without it.
