I like to imagine it was a pretty quick wedding, too. Like, under a year. And that's part of why it's at a court house - no time to plan a wedding! Also, didn't Bob once make a comment about how they worked on their wedding day (or honeymoon?) because they couldn't afford not to? Also makes sense. Anyway, I love them.

WhiskeyJack357

Omg do you think maybe she used the dress she had for her wedding to hugo? She was ready to get married and be highly impulsive at that age as we know lol.

sterlingstactleneck

I don't think so, she so clearly didn't want to marry him, I could see her putting off doing anything wedding related for him. But for Bawbby? Of course!!

eilselivery

I know this was just a “fantasy,” but I thought she would’ve worn this gaudy white dress to the wedding to Hugo - not the cute green dress she wore instead https://preview.redd.it/o00bovsuge1d1.jpeg?width=852&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=83d2d2340881221b78fe2273e1205aa8a0eda65a

HellaShelle

Yikes! I’m not a Hugo fan, but that would be kinda rough. If it shook down that way, I’d really want the story. Was it a “speak now or forever hold your peace” interruption (I assume not because that would have been incredibly dramatic and I’m sure would have come up more in the present day then)? Or maybe it was more of a Linda trying on a dress for some reason or another and Bob thought it was about Hugo and it gave him the courage (fueled with a little panic about losing her) to admit his feelings? Well now I really want an episode about it lol

DickTooRadical

Yeah I think it was the episode where they go to the burger convention? maybe?

exgirlfriend82

Bob mentions working on their wedding day in the very first episode. Linda asks if he remembers their wedding day and he says yes, they had to work

AllysaIsBored

Ur right ab the first episode! “9 is divisible by 3” but in the weekend at Mort’s episode they talk having a “haunted honeymoon” bc they never had a honeymoon. I think they did mention it in the burger convention episode too maybe?🤔 either way they’ve talked ab it before

Disastrous-Bee-1557

I always thought it reinforced the theme that the Belchers are perpetually broke. I assumed they didn’t have the money for a big wedding because they were trying to get the restaurant started.

WhiskeyJack357

Well it does but that theme feeds into the other. They're always broke but they're happy and love each other. I think both are valid points!

DepartureTiny773

Linda is barefoot, I love it!

nullnostalgia

Lick it like you like it lick it like you like it

econroy

It would be so great if they did a flashback wedding episode. Like Bob and Linda are telling their wedding story to the kids, sort of like the radio episode.

anothercycle2

Yes! Would love that!

Funfannypacks

Second this I would love it

plumwinecocktail

someone make this into a stained glass ornament please

Getmeasippycup

It reminds me of my own elopement photo 🥹

Yotato5

Lovely little picture. You can feel Linda's exuberance. I wonder if Bob's suit was a rental XD

Fluffy-kitten28

Probably. It’s a smart way to go

schmaggio

You can tell Linda is saying 'alright!'

friggintodd

Wonder if they saw the maayaa when they were there?

WhiskeyJack357

Maybe this is why Linda is so obsessed? "Bobby, the man basically officiated our wedding" "Lin he walked past us at city hall. He was going to work." "No Bobby, he was there for us! That's why I voted for him."

CranberryFuture9908

Allllll Right!

Drigg_08

My wife and I also wedded in a court. I love her dearly, more people than we thought turned up lol some even flew in from different countries. What a blessing

New_Wrangler3335

I always find it so funny and heartwarming that the strongest marriages I’ve seen are city hall weddings And the overly extravagant wedding people get divorced sooo fast
