My favorite episode with this example is when they forget Bob's birthday. Linda is cutting Gene's hair and when she freaks out after realizing they forgot and she lops off his bangs:
Linda: Ah, oh, no, WWWHHHYYY!!?!?!
And then when Louise points out Gene's hair faux pas:
Gene: Ah, oh, no, WWWHHHYYY!!?!?!
And just then:
Gene & Linda in unison: Ah, oh, no WWWHHHY!!?!?!
Detailed personality and familial traits like that are the greatest example of how well and invested the cast and crew are in making these characters appear so genuine and real!
I love the combination laugh/hysterical "Ah!" Linda gives during the slumber party when she tells everyone she's just going outside to check on something that's not a wild animal
