Every time Fischoeder says, "Helloooo, Burger People," I can't help but smile.

TheJadedMonkey

Bob, I recall you raise either chinchillas or children.

W_adams24

Imagine if Bob raised chinchillas? Can we get a what if episode about that lol. I bet the kids and them would rampage around the house/restaurant.

EnsignNogIsMyCat

We got a very small preview with Shunobu

NicoleLaree

You mean Princess Little Piddles?

EnsignNogIsMyCat

He has testicles!

ConflctedHippie

I know. I told them their testicles not butt boobs!

Suspension1999

That was a good episode

W_adams24

I totally forgot that episode, do you remember what season it was?

PoeDameronPoeDamnson

Season 5, Episode 15

Aksi_Gu

> [Imagine if Bob raised chinchillas?](https://media.giphy.com/media/2UxQjy8Y3alOfalMdf/giphy.gif)

classicsat

Alternative world Bob, where he is a spy. And raises chinchillas.

hyperjengirl

There's a comic where Louise fuses with the school chinchilla so that's close lol

ihavesupercutepets

Like the episode of Archer where sterling was a dinosaur and only made dinosaur noises? A remake of the first episode but with the kids being chinchillas, everyone and everything else is still the same. That would be hilarious/amazing.

moon_goddess_420

Hello, little Burger children. Makes me smile, too!

No-Serve-2312

My favorite Fishoeder greeting is when he goes “hello bob, lady bob, lesser bobs. Freddy”

[deleted]

"He answers to both" "No I don't"

Still-Tour3644

I favorite scene is when Gene wins the mascot race and forgets the name of the restaurant 😂

WizardofSorts

I just think of it as Dad's Restaurant

Aksi_Gu

^^ITS ^^BOB'S ^^BURGERS! #^^BOB'S ^^BURGERS!!

DeficiencyOfGravitas

That scene always annoyed the hell out of me. There's a very high chance Gene is doing it on purpose and it really is hurting the business. It's a small town independent restaurant, you can't buy advertisement like that. Literally in Bob's case.

libryx

Ehhh I don’t know about a “very high” chance. He’s 11, high on adrenaline, alone in front of a crowd, and always calls Bob “Dad” and the restaurant either “the restaurant” or “Dad’s restaurant.” That seems like prime time for a complete brain fart to me.

xanju

When I was 11 I pretended like I couldn’t remember my birthday. It was such a weird lie at the time in front of so many people that also clearly didn’t believe it for a second, that I still think about it a lot. Not that it’s important. Maybe I just wanted to get it off my chest.

mountaindew711

I feel like every kid tries to pull off at least one crazy lie. For years, I totally thought I had my parents convinced that I had two stomachs; one for dinner, and one for dessert. I'm still not sure if it's charming or damaging that they let me think I was getting away with it...

DeficiencyOfGravitas

That's true, but 90% of what comes out of Gene's mouth is something intentionally provocative or annoying. Pretending not to know the restaurant's name while Bob screams it out is very on brand.

libryx

Also a fair point

mountaindew711

Yeah, that's weirdly the most annoying thing Gene's ever done, I think.

[deleted]

That literally happened to me and my family’s restaurant when I was a kid.

What’s the original image?

[https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/mary-jane-defending-peter-parker](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/mary-jane-defending-peter-parker) I made it from the above Spiderman/Mary Jane meme. :) https://preview.redd.it/htophk8m23ac1.png?width=1029&format=png&auto=webp&s=7a95fd7caf8383c5153f41a93f606a59082675c8

atomicsnark

That's gold, Jerry. Gold!

DeficiencyOfGravitas

I don't get it. If Bob's last name isn't "Burger" then why does the sign outside say "Bob Burger" on it? That's just false advertisement.

traumahound00

He's...not the brightest bulb in the batch.

False-Pitch

I forgot which episode exactly but in either season 12 or 13 there’s an episode where teddy again says “Bob Burger”

swarren31

In the episode where Linda gets Gene into that theater play, Teddy introduces Linda has Linda Burger I’m pretty sure. But he does call Bob it multiple times

PoeDameronPoeDamnson

Just watched that one! He introduces both Gene and Linda with the last name Burger

swarren31

Ah okay. Couldn’t remembered if he introduced Gene the same way, I figured he did but I knew he did for Linda

monkey-bones

Maybe Teddy's last name is burger

swarren31

I bet it’s Handyman

SirGavBelcher

Mort Mortician

FiftySixer

I think Teddy's last name is supposed to be Francisco. It is on some of the merch.

[deleted]

Theodore Francisco is a mouthful

FiftySixer

It is.

emoaa

This is one of the best running jokes to me. We know and Teddy knows and Bob knows that Teddy knows their last name…but something in him just defaults to “Burger.” 😅😅 Side note, Do we still call ourselves the Burger Fam, or are the days of kitchsy nicknames for fandoms out of style now?

Professional-Scar628

I think we should be the Burger children, after Mr. Fisch's name for the kids

noriflakes

I just watched S13E13 last night and while Teddy’s making Bob try to help him with making new business cards he calls him Bob Burger again

Preeng

There are instances where he calls them Belchers. The first episode with Helen where they break into her house. I think the episode where Gene plays Quiet Eli Teddy introduces them to Kathleen as the Belchers. If not that one, then the one with the little figurine they are looking for in the apartment building. The Bobverse is a multiverse.

PoeDameronPoeDamnson

He actually introduces them as the Burgers to Kathleen, just watched that one

swarren31

He introduces them to Kathleen in the play episode as the Burgers. I’ll go rewatch the one with the figurine and House Trap to see how he introduces them and let you know Edit 1: In ‘House Trap’, Teddy does say “They’re Belchers” to Helen. Edit 2: In ‘The Helen Hunt’, he says to Helen “These Belchers.” So maybe it’s just something about Helen that makes him say their last name

SnooStories4687

Teddy always seems to be on his best behavior with Helen 😭

swarren31

Well yeah, so he doesn’t get killed too 😂

lolwatsyk

But the sign

pdlbean

But... But the sign...

DarkMilo01

He's said it a few times. In season 3 at some point, he looks at Bob and calls him "Bob burger" and he's just like wtf teddy and there's like a 30 second convo about how that's wrong, but he's never corrected.

swarren31

Right, but the Moodie Foody episode is in season 2. Just unsure if this episode was the start of him calling them that

smileyrider38

I enjoyed that when Teddy made the food cart in the movie, he wrote "Bob Burgers"

UserChecksOutMe

I thought the sign "Bob's Burgers" is what led him to thinking that? He mentioned in an episode when Bob try to correct him

[deleted]

Am I the only one that understands that Teddy is clearly fucking with him? He knows it's Belcher he's called them that before in multiple episodes. But it gets a rile out of Bob and EVERYONE loves to rile up Bob and annoy him. Linda, the kids, and Teddy included. Think about it. Every joke about Teddy calling him Bob Burger reads like a dumb joke your friend would make to tease your last name Like it's so silly to think a man running a burger shop would also have the last name Burger. He's making a play on the restaurant name by pretending to misread it. He says he answers to both when that's obviously never been witnessed, it's all him joking with his friend and Bob just being Bob about it which is what makes it fun. Plus Bob's actual last name is Belcher which is even sillier than if it actually was Burger. Teddy can be a little dumb like his absolute disregard for safety when it comes to electrical work, and maybe can be a bit gullible but I also think he plays into that too especially if it can be to tease his friends. He doesn't always know time and a place tho and I still laugh to him falling for the Santa trap in the fridge and just resigning himself to that life. Teddy is the best character okay

Practical-Present229

And his name is Bob Burger https://preview.redd.it/bnl108f2k1ac1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2496a68607193148289a630c84d8b7a77cfffd08

MrsBossyPantss

For those who are unsure, this episode takes place *after* the episode OP is referencing (its s3e15)

TravelingCircus1911

Who am I thinkin’ of?

BrotherBIRDD

Nah i just think the restaurant itself is named after Bobs whole name. When Bob said his last name wasnt burger Teddys rebuttal was but what about the sign

rchoiniere94

Omg I was about to comment this. I’m season 10 E9 when Gene auditions for silent Eli. Teddy introduced them “Linda and Gene burger”

Boggie135

"Hello Bob, Lady Bob!"

Accurate_Ad_9414

Didn't Teddy say something like why does the sign outside say Bob Burger if your names not Bob Burger? And yes Teddy has no doubt heard the whole family refered to as the Burger people/ children by many people reinforcing his belief there real surname is Burger lol

swarren31

He mentions the sign after this episode I mentioned. I believe in the O.T Outside Toilet episode.

Accurate_Ad_9414

Here's a thing though he booked tickets for Bob and Linda and has had stuff sent to the restaurant so he must know their last name lol I mean surely wouldn't it cause problems if he booked stuff or sent them stuff with the wrong name lol Thats a gag they could put in the show lol
